Sovelis turned the doorknob. It didn't move. " Its rusted. one sec..." He flicked the door, and it exploded. " Sorry." he started down the stairs. a few seconds later, his voice calle dout. "All clear!"

"Coming down,"Cathy said, running down the stairs.
"Cathy, slow down, remember the last time you ran down stairs?"Kayla said, following after her.

The last room was a monterous chamber, brightly lite with glowing cystals on the pillars. "This, my friends, is the tap, the opening into the source of power the Tempests have used." Sovelis said, pointing at the center of the chamber. On a pedistil, a small, perfectly round, red stone lay. "That is an object from another world. It is called the Philosopher's Stone. In ancient times on earth, a mage stumbled upon it. It allows anyone whom holds it to chanel the power of the Tempests. It was created buy the first High Lord of the Tempests to allow others to use the power. The stones were cast into different worlds.This is one of the last three original Philosopher's Stones. In one world, they lerned how to make a type of stone by sacrificing human souls. That is know as the Shadowed Philosopher's Stone. A true stone is create without sacrifice, so the tainted stones where left in that world.Some of the inhabitants of that world have the abillity to tap into the source. They called it 'Alchemy'. The power they used was diluted, inperfect, and unreliable. Any act of great power requiered the user to sacrifice either themselves or others." Sovelis led the group to the stone. " This true stone has no limit. It will never break, never grow weakand backfire. If Kasei knew of this, he would more than likly steal it, or one of the Servants of Armagedon would, and i'd be forced to use the stone agian. I used it once in the past, to seal away an immortal demon in my body..." Sovelis looked away from everyone and laughed. "And because I didn't know what I was doing, I almost allowed Sovel to Taint this true Philosopher's Stone! o you know what would have happened if he had? He would have gained the power he had always wanted, and no world would be safe..."

Sovelis said as a small robed figure stepped from behind one of the far pillars. there he is... it wispered. Now i will kill him... it walked to the stone and touched it, and the room filler with light. "YOU!" Sovelis shouted in a voice that didn't seem to match him. Yes...brother...it is I... the figure pulled back its hood. The face that looked at everyone was only a child, or someone who looked like a chiled. "Ishmael...I see you have a new body." Sovelis said. yes...but it won't be long before I must find a new one....Mabye that girl there...yess....she'll do nicly... "NO! Leave Kayla out of this!" Sovelis jumped in front of her as a bolt of energy shot out of Ishmael's hand towards Kayla. Sovelis blocked it with his arm-blade. "Run! All of you, get out! this is to dangerous..." Sovelis charged at Ishmael. you kind-hearted fool...Ishmael drifted up and looked at the stone. I can only tap it's power, let me guess, only you can pick it up? that's why I want to kill you, brother

"Yeah, like we are going to leave you alone," Cathy said. "And, Kayla, get that worried look off of your face."

"RUN! HE CAN POSSES YOU If HE TOUCHES YOU!!!" Sovelis yelled as Ishmael hit him. I cannot posses you though brother, your to strong for that. Sovelis fell to his knees as Ishmael calmly walked towards Kayla. Yes...I know he has feelings for you girl, that is why your my next body... Ishmael reached out to grab Kayla's wrist...

Cathy slashed her sword at him, anger was etched into her face,"If you even look at her, you will have to deal with me."
Kayla had jumped back a few feet.

IThe sword passed through Ishmael's arm and it fell to the floor. Ow...now I'll have to kill you zora. Ishmael's severed hand grabbed Cathy's throat and started to squeaze. Just then, Sovelis's sword was touching the Sempari's neck ."Release her, or you will die like Dante did."
