~The Black Seer looked at the two for a moment. He had a pretty good idea of what was going on, and decided that the adventures deserved to know what was going on.
"I am the Black Seer. I have no other name by which people call me, and that suffices for most men. I cannot be exactly certain why that man betrayed you, but I know this: he was working for a group of sheikah assasins. I used to be the leader of that group, and a powerful memeber of the same organizations that the gorons in this temple are a part of. The other sheikah that attacked you, Shadow, was my apprentice, Farn. It didn't take him long to learn some of my magic, and gather enough ambition to betray me, and he locked me away, deep in the earth. I was only just freed, and I'm sorry I was not able to assist you earlier.
You may wonder what I am doing here now; there is much more to this than some assasins trying to kill you. You may have noticed the tome from before, and seen the damage that it can wreck with its magic first hand. It is one of many artifacts of great power. Only two lie in this world, the tome of earth, the one you just saw, and the tome of nature, one that was stolen by the same group of sheikans, not long ago. There powers are simple; they give the user control over their elemental domain. Creating giant lions of stone is not the books only ability. Though there greatest power is when they are used together. They can open the seal on the dark world, and let the corrupted sacred realm seep into Hyrule.
I think that this is the sheikah's goal. Though I'm sorry to come to you, asking for help, there is only so much I can do. I need assistance from others who treasure this world. So now I ask, no beg, you to aid me. Go to Tantari desert in the north, and find the sheikan base. There you must kill the one who collects the artifacts, and bring them back to where they belong. Two others are headed in the same direction as we speak. They are deku from the forest to the east, and they should be some help to you."
The sheikah placed his hand on the wall of the corridor, and a rumbling rocked the hall. Slowly a stone panel sunk into the ground, revealing a dark passasge. The Black Seer metioned down it.
"This should lead to the outside. Ponder over what I have said."
He didn't teleport right away, waiting for a responce, but wanted to be on his way. He had other pressing buisness far from here, and didn't want to be kept waiting much longer.~
