Cathy sighed and pulled her legs close to her chest. She stared at the water with her light blue eyes. She knew that she was different. She wore a shirt and a pair of pants, what do you expect?(OoC:Hey, she is my character) She was also the only zora girl in this place. She also was the only one who who lived in Kito Village that could breathe under water, so why is this place so different? It's always been bugging her. Ever since her brother appeared everything has changed. Later after the battle, she discovered that it was a shift shaper. Where was her real brother? Did he betray Cathy like the shift shaper? No, that wasn't possible. Shift shapers act different than the person they change into.

Cathy sighed again and rested her head on her knees, making her blue hair fall into her face. Yes, she has hair, and every long ears, that's what made her different from every other zora here.

Cathy got to her feet and jumped into the water. It felt refreshing, better than that scorching heat.

OoC: This post is mostly not needed, but it's been bugging me. I was never a good poster when I started on here, but I'm getting better. If you see, this reveals a lot.

"Is she a scaled human or a haired Zora?" that was Kalex´s question. For one side, he did want to meet another one of his kind, on the other side, he felt he was not ready.

He sitting not too far from the location of the Zora, so he decided it was best show some manners to the girl. He threw the spine of his latest catch, and stood up.

He felt insecure "Why was it?" he asked himself, as he walked towards the Zora.
What if she´s also from Lake Hylia? What she has met her sister? What if...?
Time went fast and before he knew it, he was beside her.

"...uhmm... hi, what´s your name?"
You know it´s not polite to ask other´s people´s names without giving yours.
HEY!, do you have to always scold me like that. The voices echoed in his head.
"I´m Alex..."
Hmm, that´s a little better... are you blushing?

OOC: Hello, I´m Alex, nice to meet another Zora at last

"Hm?" Cathy turned her attention to the person who sat next to her. She turned away when she got a good look at his face and stared at the water. Silence wrapped around the two. Cathy was pretty sure that this person was getting a little edgy with the silence. "My name's Cathy." She turned her gaze back to Alex.

Cathy frowned and rubbed her head. She wasn't the type to talk alot. She would rather be left alone. Having company sometimes was helpful. Too bad she couldn't come up with some small talk most of the time.

"So. . . Weather's been nice, hasn't it?" Cathy questioned. She was mentally bashing herself for asking the stupidest question that could ever be invented. She examined the sky and had to say that the weather was nice. A nice breeze, no clouds covered the clear blue sky.

"How long have you been here?" She asked, finding a new question to begin with.

OoC: Yeah, seems like these zoras aren't very popular. But mine's a half human. XD

Sorry it took so long to reply. I only check topics if I get an email for it, and I never got an email for this!

"Nice weather, indeed..." Kalex smiled as he looked up into the sky, some birds were flying near the horizon, the fresh breeze actually felt good.

"How long..." his mood gradually changed into melancholy. "You could say I have always lived in Hyrule, that is, South Hyrule of course. I used to live there until the day my home was attacked by one of Gannon's warlords. I woke up a month later in North Castle and-"
Boooring, you really are bad at keeping interesting a conversation. Just end it there or you keep talking her to death. Apparently Mikau used to have his way with women when being alive, but yet he had no right to scold him with things like that, they would need to have a talk later...
"aaand that's how I ended up here". He was laughing slightly, but inside he was actually nervous.

He sat next to Cathy, he leaned on his back to stare directly into the sky.
"Going to the point, I'm looking for someone precious to me, so many times I thought I was about to find her..." he stretched his hand upwards, like he was trying to take a solid grip of the few clouds in the sky.

"What is your purpose?" he simply asked in the end as he tilted his head to look at Cathy.

"To tell you the truth, I'm here for no reason. Well, besides getting away from my aunt. They always have stories when the step mother is the evil one, phh. My aunt hates me, so I find a reason to travel around places and see what it really is like." Cathy frowned. She was hoping that she was making sense. Since she grew up without her real parents and since her mother didn't really have a zora family, she grew up with a human aunt and uncle. Cathy picked at the grass and let out a small sigh.

"Well, actually, I had difficulty growing up. I never knew what a real family was, and it seems like I never will know," Cathy said. "I never knew my real parents, so I'm not sure what I am exactly." Cathy rubbed the back of her neck. "I really am wondering why I'm telling this to you."

"Because we are of the same race, even if you look so differ-" Kalex stopped dead in his tracks, Cathy was obviously sensitive about this "even if you don't know who your parents are"
"Someday... the passge to the south will be oppened... when that happens, will you come with me to search for the remaining Zora?".

"South opened," Cathy repeated. She stared at the water for a bit. "That sounds. . . nice." Cathy realized how much she didn't sound like herself and stiffened a bit. "And adventurous. I guess I will."

OoC: You know, I think we met when I first started. I was only doing around. . . a sentence or two when I first started.

Kalex looked into the sky once again, today he felt he had gained a valuable friend. Maybe Cathy wasn't in the exact same situation as he was, but somehow he identified himself with her. In fact... in fact...

"You know what, you remind me of my little sister" as he said this, Kalex approached Cathy in a somewhat rude manner, almost making nose contact with her, yes, she somehow reassembled his sister, Miyu.

"Your eyes are much the same" Kalex reassumed his cross legged position, he had an melancholic smile in his face. "You see, some time ago, when my home was attacked, my sister and I got sepparated, my father died in battale long ago, and my mother died that day, so all that there is left for me is Miyu".

He turned to look at the lake, he grabbed a rock lying close by and threw it so it would jump in the water.

"Miyu and I used to do this for hours, I hope that when I find her, you'll get a chance to meet her, you two would get along just fine!" he said with the blond faith that had kept him going for the last three years.

"So, you think I resemble your sister and that we would get along when we meet," Cathy commented. She stared at the skipping rock. "I don't really know." The rock stopped and sunk. "I don't get along well with people." She frowned. His story sounded a bit like hers. "I have an older brother, I don't know what happened to him though. He got up one day and left. I guess that's reasonable. He never got along with my uncle." She frowned. "Today's his birthday."

"I am sure you will like her if you get a chance to meet her" Kalex said with a radiant smile. "You're brother is also missing, but I know you will find him some day as well". He put his hand in Cathy's shoulder, trying to comfort her.

A new torch had been lit somewhere inside him, he had new hope, once again he felt he could stand and run free forever.

"You have given me new hope Cathy, and I hope you find whatever you're looking for" he said as he looked deep into the girl's eyes. Kalex then proceeded to embrace her as he whispered. "I'm so glad I met you today".

"Whoah there, buddy. Just because we are sharing a sappy moment doesn't mean you have to go all soft on me." Even though Cathy said this, she didn't pull away from the embrace. "And, I guess I'm glad I met you, I mean, there isn't many people I can talk to around here without having to fight." She glared at nothing. "Or hurt my friends willy nilly." Cathy rubbed her head, messing up her blue hair. "If you could, I would like to tell you about my friend's story."

She's had it worse than me over the years, Cathy thought.

OoC: It's kinda true, a lot of topics I see lately are of fights, and whenever I join a topic, no one seems to reply to it! Sovelis doesn't talk to me anymore either!
