~Lance nodded as he heard Junter mutter "Behind me." A plan was rapidly formulating in his mind, and Junter was already in position to be of use. The goron would of course be the "distraction" part of plan while the mercenary would be the one moving in for the kill, but Junter didn't need to be informed of that. Before he could make any advanced preparations however, his train of thought was interupted by the ranger, bursting throught the plume of sand, flaming blade lifted high. It seemed he planned on splitting Junter's head.

Lance was not particularly worried. It wasn't his own head that was in danger, and although it would be tricky to win a one on two battle if Junter died, it would be far from impossible. Indeed, instead of worrying about his partner's welfare he decided to put his plan into action. He rolled off to the side, out from under the cover of the goron's massive bulk, and to the side of the ranger. If he attacked from this position, the ranger would either have to stop his attack, and guard his flank, leaving Junter open to attack, or continue to attack, and risk getting skewered by Lance's rapier.

With a smile, the Shiekah forced the goron to make the choice, but not before making his own attack a little nastier. He ripped a scroll out of one of his pockets, a scroll not common in Hyrule. Indeed this was an extremely rare scroll made for him personally by Farn, the inheritor of the powers of the Black Seer. It was a scroll of Thunder. The Thunder spell was one of the most powerful in all of Hyrule, and indeed, when combined with the sword strike, it would be quite lethal indeed.

Lance wrapped the scroll around the hilt of his rapier, and then ran magical energy down his arm, and activated the scroll, watching electrical energy surge through his blade. He then lunged forward, thrusting with his blade, ready to run the Gerudo male through. As soon as he made contact, the Thunder spell would release itself, making the attack that much more deadly. The ranger would have to chose between Junter and the thunder spell very soon.

Meanwhile, the second gerudo saw her comerad being attacked, and started to get upset. She had no weapon on hand, having just thrown her scimitar, but because both of her opponents were occupied, she had time to go find a weapon to use. On the desert sand next to her, she found one: a spear that one of her fallen friends had been using. She whipped it into a two-handed grip, and charged forward. At the same time she charged, the ranger rolled forward, calling off his attack, and coming up at point-blank range with Junter, letting Lance's attack pass behind him. At the same time however, the second gerudo arrived, intercepting the sword thrust. The Thunder spell released itself, shooting through the gerudo's body, thouroughly killing her, and reducing the enemy head count to one alone: the ranger. The battle was coming to its finale, and now it was Junter's time to strike at very close range.~

OOC:...Whoa...That was confusing...I'll need to read that through a few more times...

IC: The edge of Junter's mouth tugged downwards. This was troublesome. He would have to move quickly in order to block this latest attack, and that wasn't an attribute he happened to possess. His only shortcoming, to be sure. Although it wasn't really a shortcoming. He had fully prepared for his minor lack in speed with a superior defense, and therefore he would be fine. He began to pull back, hoping that the attack would simply graze him instead of doing something significant to his rock body. Luckily, however, he was saved by his ally, and the Gerudo who had made Junter a sitting duck was now the sitting duck himself. My mace is still clean; I haven't hit anyone with it yet. Perhaps I shall try and keep it that way? With passive, blank eyes, Junter leaned in to his rolling opponent. As the ranger came back up, the Goron grabbed the Gerudo's sword wrist. He jerked down mercilessly in an attempt to snap it, and then proceeded to turn it back on itself. When it was poitned towards the Ranger's torso, he pushed forward, completely relaxed despite the horrible deed he was commiting.

~The ranger felt his wrist being bent back, and in alarm applied all his strength to pushing back, stopping his wrist from snapping, and himself from being impaled. Against the unfathomable strength of a goron however, he didn't stand a chance, and as soon as he came to terms with that fact, he chaged his tactics, using brain instead of brawn.

The gerudo immediately began to move to the right, and let the sword tip get pushed passed him, and saved his wrist from snapping. Then he called the magical energies of his arm armor, and send a burst of shooting through his arm into his wrist, and then into the goron, hoping that the sudden jolt of energy would get him to let go. The chances of that happening were relatively high, but Junter might always push through the sudden pain, and managed to break the man's wrist.

Meanwhile, preparing for the worst, the ranger dropped his blade and caught it in his other hand, waiting for Junter to make the next move. At the same time, Lance was wiping blood off his rapier, having just killed the other gerudo still alive, and then turned to look with a smirk upon the desperate Gerudo. It seemed like Junter wouldn't need his help subduing this enemy. Of course whether that would be true or not would be based on if Junter could keep his grip.~

Junter snarled as he felt the electricity pass through him. He definitely hadn't been expecting this--he had become too careless. As his arm recoiled, his foot came up, kicking sand up towards his opponent's face and hopefully contacting the Gerudo's body as well. With his still-numb hand off of the Ranger's body, Junter used it to strengthen his grip on his mace, and as his foot came down, so did his weapon.

~The ranger found himself once again in a plume of sand, and this time he was quite irritated. He was sure that a weapon would follow up the initial attack, so he brought his own to bear, and instead of retreating charged forward, locking his blade with Junter's mace, glad that his hand had been freed, and that his wrist was fully functional. Despite his renewed fighting ability and spirit, there was one thing the gerudo didn't account for. Lance.

The sheikah had taken the opportunity to shadowmeld, while the ranger had his face covered in sand. Now that he was locked in a grapple with the goron, this would be the perfect opportunity for him to sneak around to the gerudo's rear, and strike from there, preferably at the same time Junter launched his own attack.

Lance moved steathily around his opponent, and watched for the perfect moment. The ranger in the meantime was still completely occupied with the fight with Junter, and had just pushed the goron's weapon off to the side, using the momentum of the head of the mace in his favor. He immediately launched a counter attack, lashing out with his flaming blade, although he didn't truly believe that a simple slash would take the massive goron down.~

Junter spat in frustration as his mace was stopped in its tracks and held in a deadlock. This one Gerudo was getting to be such a nuisance! He answered this new challenge by pushing forward all the harder. However, this only worked against him as his weapon was deflected to the side. He began to fall forward, stepping closer to his opponent to stay upright, and he saw the blade coming. He knew he wouldn't be able to block the attack with his own weapon at this rate, and it would be foolish to attempt so. Instead, what he decided to do was nothing. His left hand came off the mace handle, leaving only his right hand, which was corded to the massive club. The momentum jerked his right side around--and the boulder attached to his back. The blade glanced harmlessly off of the hunk of rock, and as Junter continued his spinning motion, yet another rocky object was swinging around--this would be the back of his closed fist, directly at chest level to the much shorter Ranger.
