Since I have a story going, I'll be GMing quite a few fights, and I was wondering something. In the rules set, it says that if someone uses a dodge check, awareness check, etc, you compare the equation to a predetermined number. How do you get that predetermined number, and does the number change throughout the topic?

A predetermined number, believe it or not, is a number that YOU determine prior to the event. You decide what it is. 15 is a pretty common number, but I've seen anything ranging from seven to 18 in my year here.
