As you enter the temple, a site catches your eye. A figure is praying, but not at the alter, as a matter of fact, it is in the corner praying the same prayer repeatedly. The figure wore a cloak, but it was clearly female. She had a bushy tail one might find on a fox, as well. If you listen close, you can hear her prayer:

"Dear Lord, forgive these mortals,
They know not what they do.
They do not realize that they are following the wrong divine being.
Forgive me of my transgressions,
Bless my friends, and bless those who are not,
Despite the fact I despise them, also bless my enemies.
In your holy name I pray, Amen."

It was the girl from the photo.....

OOC: This is for Saber. Also, Orpheous taught her Christianity.

OOC:Well, Hyrule's a different dimension, so it would have different creation...Or would it...Well, Orpheous is from earth also, so he would have christianity, but...Ah, too confusing, no more crossing dimensions for me It's very likely she could be converted

IC:Saber stood outside the entrance of the church, listening to the strange chant. Well, to each their own...He thought as he wiped his brow and wondered what this prayer was about. He had been following her since seeing her inside the Courtyard, and was wondering when he might get some time alone with her...Or more accurately, when she would have time alone...without him. Yes. He didn't want to get together with her. Definitely not. That was Orpheous' girl. He would recieve a beating if he was caught messing around with this fox-tailed lady... He sighed slightly as he looked up at the sky before returning his gaze to Silna, still praying...

OOC: Dude, your wording kinda threw me off. Does Saber like her, or doesn't he, or perhaps, via your word usage, are you keeping it a mystery. I have a hard time picking up themes through written works, and what Saber's thinking could change the whole scenario.

IC: The woman lifted her head, and gazed with pondering eyes on Saber, trying to place were she had seen him before. Then it came to her, the slave traders. That had been when they first momentarily met. "Hey," she finally called out to him. "Weren't you at the Infinity Colosses Crises?" she asked, assuming he would say yes. Her cute face waited for a reply, as she stood up, and walked over to him.

He went rigid when she called out to him. Being noticed. Not one of the attributes of stealth if I'm not mistaken... He turned and looked into her face, momentarily awed by the beauty he saw before focusing on answering. "I-I was. With Orpheous and Leth, right?" He said timidly, wondering how he was going to turn this around now. It became a lot harder to kidnap somebody when you had a connection with them, after all--Small talk would only make it harder emotionally, especially with the amount of ties that the adventurers in Hyrule all shared.

"Saber, right?" she asked. "Sorry, I tend to have some trouble with names sometimes. Thanks for helping us out back there," she threw in. She took a seat on a pew, "in case you forgot, I'm Silna. So what have you been up too?" She asked inquisitively, not knowing that recently, he had be plotting on abducting her.

"Yes, that's right...Me too..." He replied, his mind racing..."Yes, Silna, I remember." He anxiously brushed his hair aside, only for it to fall back in place. He repeated the motion several times as he was talking. "Well, I've had a few jobs here and there...Business has been all right...Having trouble finding Blank around, which is a pity, I needed to ask him something..." He continued to ramble, trying to figure out where to go from here. He couldn't just grab her and haul her through a castle full of civilians.

"So," she said, stretching out her back while she sat on the pew, "what brings you to the temple area today? I was just praying to Go....I mean the goddesses," she caught herself quickly. "Scholars say it is the hottest day of the year so far," she said, casually, as she took off her cloak, laying on the pew beside her. She wore shorts made out of some cheap cloth, a tunic, and undergarments(this was simply put as a fact, they can't be seen do to the tunic and shorts. She had not been wearing her sandals, seeing as how it was a temple, and sandals were any easy way of tracking dirt, they had previously been in her lap, but now she sat them on folded cloak.

She looked down to observe Saber's feet, wondering what kind of shoe he was wearing if he was wearing one.

OOC: I don't think it is illegal to wear shoes in the Temple, but Silna has some regard to cleanliness. I don't want to god-mod you, but if possible, Saber should have shoes on, and she should offer to clean his feet with the complementary basin, and some clean water from the fountain outside. Trust me on this, but don't expect to go farther than the feet. She still loves Orpheous, she is merely cleaning Saber's feet because in her eyes, cleanliness is next to godliness.

Saber's mind went blank. Well, to kidnap you, sweetie, but I'm not supposed to let you know was the wry answer that was quickly discarded. "I'm...Here for...Shopping? Yes, shopping." Shopping? At the temple? Idiot! "See, I have a friend who works here, and the hours are terrible. Wanted me to do the shopping for her. So I came to see exactly what she wanted, but she's not here at the moment. Probably in back. You know, where I can't go. Priest only area. Yeah. I'll just ask her later." He scuffed the ground with his open-toed red shoes (Like the ones in my avatar) nervously as his eyes roved the ceiling, glancing back at the girl every few moments as he tried to decide what to say next. "So, you like having your shoes off?" He said casually, then trying not to wince as he thought of the possible connotations such a simple statement could have.

"I see, so you have a friend here," she said, understandingly. To answer his question about her shoes, she went on to say,"Well, it is a temple," kinda blatantly. She noticed his red open-toed shoes. "Hey, you might want to take off yours, it is a temple. I saw you in the tournament, and despite the fact that you lost, you did well. However, the best way to get Go...the Goddesses favor is to do your best to please them. They probably don't like it when people wear shoes in their presence." She didn't believe it entirely though. In her eyes, the goddesses were either like God's underlings who chaperoned the world of Hyrule, or God was actually in total control and the Goddesses were an explanation the people made up to understand how the world came to be. There was no way God didn't hold control here.

Saber blinked at the idea. Take of fmy shoes?Although not that he thought of it, he hadn't been in Hyrule that long, and hadn't quite absorbed all their customs yet. It would certainly explain how they failed him before in the tournament, bringing about his demise. Then again, they didn't owe him anything, and he hadn't exactly stood a chance in the first place against Alpha. It was just too lopsided a match...Although, if he had another go...He had been trying with Burlo, and felt that he could handle magic more confidently. Still, the Goddesses' favor was a great ally. He silently slipped the shoes off and picked them up, undoing his belt for a second to string them through the holes. "So then..." He started, unable to think of anything to keep the conversation going.

"So, what exactly were you thinking about getting for you friend, in case you never got a chance to ask her?" asked Silna with a smile. Meanwhile, his gaze went down to his feet. Most likely, his feet would be filthy. After all, he wore a pair of open toed shoes, and the city always had either dusty or muddy roads, sometimes both. It would only be her duty, as the female to wash his feet. However, she had to know if they needed washing first.

"Well...Just the common stuff, you know." He said, his mind racing to come up with preistly items. "Not food, they feed her fairly well here. However, she runs low on...Candles." His face brightened a bit at the idea. "Yes, candles is the main thing. She's inside a lot, so she needs light. However, I wasn't quite sure what shape she needed the candle in, and what size, or how many. So I thought I'd try and clarify it." He immediately began to think about what other questions could be asked, and his gaze fell on her face, where he realized she was looking at his feet. He blushed--He didn't need to look to know that his feet were in bad condition. The judgement didn't help as well. His nails would be choppy, his feet caked in dust and scratched up, with sores and calluses on the bottom. "I'm sorry, I don't really care well for my appearance..." He said shamefully, looking away to avoid seeing the look of disgust he knew was coming.

"No, it is totally fine actually. A lot of people don't wash their feet before entering sacred places such as right here. I actually almost forgot," explained the shape shifter named Silna. "However, my religion inspires me to serve. There is a bowl of water right over there." She pointed to the bowl, while doing her best to only imply what she was trying to get across. "Come, Tantari Mercenary, it would be my pleasure to wash your feet. As I said, if your goddesses favor you, you don't want that to change." She began to go fetch the bowl, as if she knew his answer. If he was an intelligent mercenary, as he most likely was, he would know that as she was leaning over to clean his feet, he would be able to probably knock her unconscious with a hit to the head or neck.

As she continued walking, she explained, "Well, to be quite frank, I didn't come her just to pray, I came to seek guidance. He may be embarrassed if I told you, but Orpheous' 'skill' doesn't come to him as it used to. He can still read aloud just as vivid as he could before the incident, but he has to put more effort into his word-mancing (thanks to Worru for coining a term that I can use in my own books)." By now she was on her way back with the bowl.

"Losing his talent, eh?" Saber said absent-mindedly. She wasn't making this easy. Why did his target have to be so pleasant? Perhaps if she had regarded his obviously unsatisfactory appearance with distaste, he may have had less regrets about his intentions. "How is coming here and seeking guidance going to help that, though?" He glanced around the place. If he were going to kidnap her like he was planning to, it would be a very bad thing for there to be others in the area. Now that he thought about it, this whole thing was going to be risky. Even supposing he got out of here safely, there were still hundreds of people milling about outside. Hyrule was an odd place to be sure, but it might still be regarded as suspicious to see a man such as Saber hauling an unconscious young woman out of the castle. Suspicious indeed.
