The Traveler's Hostel, a clean, well-kempt wooden building with a thick thatch roof, stands before you. Inside you can see many battle-weary adventurers cavorting and trading tales of their many adventures. If you wish, you can open the door and walk in.

(Aside) "Well-kempt?" I think "well-kept" would be a better term for that.

OOC: It's a simple spelling mistake, don't go correcting people, especialy the narrator.

I think, that you will find that well-kempt is exactly what the Narrator intended. It is not a spelling mistake as you would have us believe. Kempt means neatly kept or tidy and thus is far better a choice of words than well-kept.
