OOC: Indeed, that is a good song . . .
IC: Kasei smiled wickedly. He looked at his skeletal ally, Cormoros, then across the field to where Rimnos stood. He looked at Nogare for a second, and flashed a menacing grin, "I have something to do, if you mind a moment." The Rebel Flame said, leaving to walk over to Rimnos.
Nogare was perplexed. Was Kasei actually going to help Rimnos? If he were someone else, Nogare would stop his enemy, but, as honorable as he was, he wouldn't dare harm someone too weak to fight back. Besides, he thought, Cormoros would probably stop me anyway. So, in the end, all the Knight did was wait patiently as Kasei walked over to Rimnos and stooped over the body of his ally. As Nogare watched, though, Kasei used his powers, and incinerated Rimnos! It took only a moment of screaming, and the rito perished on the ground.
Nogare was furious. "Why did you do that!?" He demanded, and Kasei got up to look at him. "What?" The Demon asked. "It was your fault, he was too weak to be of any more use to us." He said calmly, and walked over to Nogare, but stopped at around ten feet. "It's the fate of everyone, after all. Everything that exists must perish. Even the gods will meet their end. That is the very purpose that we, the servants, strive to achieve; ending all things at the rim of time!" He said vaingloriously, "Everything has an end, every story has a closing chapter. You, me, Hyrule, even those who write the stories we thrive in, all ends! Your end is NOW!" He finally said, and, Nogare realized Kasei was stalling, as, behind him, appeared a massive axe-wielding iron knucle, Demize, one of the servants. "Your Time Is Up." The monster said, before swinging.
Nogare lept up, swinging belegcam at his opponent's helmet, knocking it off, and revealing an empty suit of armor. Behind him now, Cormoros approache, and swung his strange sword. Nogare blocked, and parried at his opponent's head, knocking the zombie to the ground. Still, he saw no dammage psysically dealt to the monster, and his thought raced to what Dogura had once told him;
"The Servants are strong, yes, some are virtually immortal. Still, when I fought against that ice-wielding one, I realized that everyone, no matter how strong, has a weakness somewhere. If more of the servants attack, we'll have to figure out what if best against them. I burned the one who attacked me, for example. I'm betting your freind Kasei is weak to water. That Cormoros one looks like he'd have an aversion to light. Those are the only one's i've met."
OOC: Yeah, I made that quote up. As far as I know, Dogura never said that.

OOC: .... That was the most kickass speech I've ever heard Kasei say. I might have to borrow that for Age!!
IC: Dogura's words fresh in his mind, he approached Cormoros, steadily and prepared. Cormoros made a move to swing his sword from the ground, but Nogare blocked the swing, disarmed him, and threw the weapon aside, burning it down with a light spell, and as Cormoros made a move to wing his ax an finish the Frozen Knight, he dodged and opened a void beneath his feet. As he fell in, he stabbed him in the gut, deep enough for his mouth to hover over the immortal's ear, and hissed, "This is not your battle. Enter the void, and do not return for many years." With that, Cormoros fell into a realm of darkness.
Closing the void, leaving his attention from Cormoros, he turned back to Kasei, the sight of the dying Rito fresh in his mind. "You're wrong, Kasei. Sure, things end. Great fortresses become ruins. Great kings become ashes. Names are forgotten. Even the gods whom we serve are abandoned, failed to be worshiped and thanked." He stepped forward, and extended Belegcam out in Kasei's direction, emphasizing his next words: "But those are the things worth fighting for. Without them, all the world would be is corruption. Those are the things that make legends..." He flipped Belegcam in his hands, getting into a stance, holding it with one hand behind his back while with the other he aimed with an open hand.
His eyes blazing cold balls of fire, he cried out, " And legends NEVER die!"
With that he jumped at Kasei, leaving over 20 feet between where he had been standing to where KAsei was, with a single leap. Again their spar continued.
I don't think that Kasei realizes the gravity of the situation... Nogare observed as they fought. I have the strength to defeat him. He's only alive still because I can't bear an unfair fight to my own advantage. Three against one allowed me to use a bit more of my strength, but now that it's me against Kasei alone, I have to fight fairly. No matter what he throws at me, I can counter, and only counter.

"RAAAAAAAAARGH!!!"
Kasei launched himself forward at his foe. As he did, a ring of fire circled him, and his left arm hung out, slowly turning into the vicious claw it was known as. Kasei swung with his appendage, creating an explosion, and sending Nogare soaring backwards into rocks.
The knight can play fair all he wants, Kasei was a servant of Armaggeddon, he'd get the job done, no matter what. And as Nogare lay in the rubble of a boulder he had smashed in to, weak, losing blood fast, Kasei walked up to him, and grabbed him by the neck. "Legends, eh?" The demon wispered into his foes ear. "They only exist for fools who choose to tell their tales." He snarled, and slammed the knight into the ground. Blood was everywhere.
"For fools like you, know the legend of the end of the world." The monster said, before lifting his claw high, and pounding it into Nogare's gut.
Nogare, who promptly dissapitated into nothing, it was a decoy. Kasei turned around just barely in time to jump out of the way of one of the knight's ice blasts. "You're a hard man to kill, Kasei." Nogare called, from his perch.
"I'll say the same about you. You would've made an excellent servant." Kasei said, before summoning a massive fireball, and launching it at Nogare . . .

The Hylian Knight snorted. The ball was too big to dodge, but he didn't have to think much of it. With the inhuman impact of a sweeping attack, he sent the fireball in a different direction, towards, the castle, until at last it settled into the moat. Panting from the beating he had taken, he used his spear as a crutch to rise to his feet. He coughed up a gob of blood, and hissed through a twisted snarl, "I could say the same for you for being a servant of the gods. You claim to be so, but since when did one serve both Armageddon and the Three?"
He aimed Belegcam into the sky as if it were a gun, and ten perfect blades of ice identical to the blade of the spear itself shot forth, and changed their direction down, darting straight at the Rebel Flame. Kasei wasn't impressed, and summoned a shield of fire to protect himself. But the blades didn't struck him, and before he knew it, a great beam of light shot into his face from the tip of Nogare's legendary spear, stabbing into Kasei's eyes. He covered his face with a shadow spell, which Nogare knew would leave an opening somewhere. A single blade of ice stabbed into Kasei's side, cleaving to his muscles, and freezing the bone. It melted shortly afterwards, and he kept his shield up, prepared.
Nothing came, and he wouldn't wait. He exploded a great explosion of power around him, tearing the landscape to ashes, catching everything in flames. The ice blades were destroyed, but Nogare was ready. He saw it coming. But what he did next was surprising for those watching; he leaped RIGHT AT THE EXPLOSION! He did was he could to send the fire out of his way with wind, heal the burns with ice, and use the earth against the fire to burn his blood and stop the bleeding. To reach the source.
He closed his eyes, and meditated his thoughts to a prayer...
The world seemed to stop moving. It was like he was at a beach. As if he were alone. The wind was soft, and blowing his hair around. He remembered his father saying he had his mother's hair... she died in his father's arms shortly after the raid, when she was dying of her wounds. Exiles had cast a spell that made her bones crack with every heartbeat, and soon she died. A tear filled the rim of his eye, wishing he could remember something about his mother. He was so young. He had seen pictographs of her, and admired her hair. She was Sheikah, but her love for this Hylian warrior was heartbreaking. She abandoned her kin for him. The tear fell, and landed on the water of the coast. The water rippled, and Nogare's head bowed. If only he remembered more of her...
The ripples fell into the water, but one remained floating. He grew and grew in volume, until it was big enough to fit into Nogare's open hand. He felt his heart feel stronger, yet weaken... From it a voice said, "Your love for your mother has not been overlooked, servant of the gods. We give you favour in this battle. Love will be there to protect you. Your mother's love runs through the the heart of Nayru, Goddess of Wisdom. Nayru protect you...
He opened his eyes, and realized that there was a shield around him, like magic armour. A crystal circling around him. He also felt no pain whatsoever in his limbs, which only moments ago felt like nothing. He laughed in confidence, and aimed Belegcam straight at Kasei. They were in the eye of the storm.
"En garde, traitor!" hollered the Frozen Knight over the massive explosion activating around them. Again, Diablo and Belegcam clashed!
So this is what the favour of the goddesses truly is...

All around the two combatants, the people of Hyrule watched history unfold itself in this battle. They would watch this, and see it as the legendary battle between Link and Ganondorf. Though neither combatant was as powerfull as the one they were being compared to, the storm of magic around them, and their constant attacks on each other sure did emulate the mythical battle nicely.
Within the inferno/blizzard-like hurricane, Kasei an Nogare entered one of several stalemates, Kasei's Diablos were stuck grappling against the blade of Belegcam. Neither of the two were going to give ground, not now, not when both knew they were so close to victory. Kasei drew back his Diablos, and swung with his claw, this time, Nogare blocked, and stabbed strait through the limb with Belegcam, rendering it useless, Nogare had cut the tendons in Kasei's arm!
Kasei screamed in rage as he breathed fire at Nogare, who retaliated with a blast of light at his enemy.
OOC: Finish laterz.

OOC: TOO LONG!!! BLARGH!!
IC: He did not take the time to realize it yet, but gradually, as he fought, the son of Grayblade was becoming more and more like an immortal... Certainly, a few hours, or even days if he had taken note of how the sun had risen and set three times already, would not even bring him close to the potential of the immortal Kasei, who was practically born a god, transformed into what he was now at a younger age than the Blade himself was now, and grew stronger and more deadly with each passing decade, and had been so for near fifty and a hundred years. Nevertheless... There was something that made him glow more with power, wisdom, and courage, than the Rebel Flame could even dream... and to his own astonishment, he was actually struggling to land a hit on him, and by now he had learned his enemy well enough to not go for any risky moves, knowing that, whatever it was, the lad could counter it with a clever counterspell...
The tornado of ice and fire was wearing away the earth beneath their feet. Whatever earth there was before could not be salvage from the crossfire of Kasei and the everfrost of Nogare. Through the fire and flame, through the ice and frost, they could not determine the passage of time, nor could they take in any lesser detail of the world except the details of each others weapons, which they had come to know very well... Splitting the earth apart, sending it in all directions, decimating it with the power of their will, in the attempt solely to gain the upper hand. The moment they tried not to gain the upper hand at this point...
... game over...
You could look up into the sky from down here, and you could not hope to climb to the top, or jump with a jump spell, nor possibly even fly.
... And Nogare found himself getting more and more weary... The fires of hell were not far off... more powerful than his mere power of ice...
And he could not ignore this fact forever...

Nogare was right to fear the end. However, he should keep his head in the game, as Kasei surely was. The Rebel Flame was a flurry of attacks, striking against Nogares somewhat failing defences furiously, demanding Nogare give up and flee. Still, the knight could not do that, though his streangth was waning, he had to do it, he had to strike down Kasei here, now, before he could do any more damage.
Still that was easier said than done. In the past months, Nogare had indeed gained a tremendous amount of power and skill, but the difference in strength and experience was obvious. Kasei was immortal after all. How many lifetimes has he lived through? How many heroes, just like Nogare, has he cast into the darkness?
This was a losing battle. Nogare would either have to go for all, or nothing.
OOC: Your next post decides, dude.

... The Blade would have to be a fool to do either. But he had to choose.
A third option... he needed a third option...!
It came to him. He put up a barrier of ice, which would soon be cleaved by the Rebel Flame, but before they could continue combat a second later, Nogare sent a sheet of ice through the ground, and corroded the earth. He cut a hole, big enough for him to fit and escape through, and for the rubble to come not to fall upon him. He would burrow himself deep and out of Kasei's reach, and hopefully reach land above before he could catch up.
The rubble fell. Rocks came down upon Kasei like hail. Nothing he could not deflect, but it would occupy him while Nogare hid.
Nogare tried to ask for the Favour of the Gods. Din reached him deep below from within the earth, Farore granted him a way out with Wind, and Nayru guarded him as he debris flew at him, which would have crushed him otherwise.
Now, he was out of the crater. He took the time to be fully healed as a Hylian, and as Sheikah hid himself in the shadows of midnight.
Any minutes, Kasei would be out of the crater, and be struggling to find out where the Blade had gone...

It was not long before Kasei was crushed under the rocks. As Nogare escaped into the night, the Rebel Flame was still struggling to escape the boulders that imprisoned him. It was many long minutes before he managed to blow a hole through the rocks, and surface. He glared around finaly, to see that Nogare was gone, fleeing away.
"Damn." He said, and began to move away . . .
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So, Rimnos is dead." An elderly man said, sitting on a throne of skulls. Before him was Cormoros, Kasei, and a third man, Pulse. "That is unfortunate. Still, our plans have not ended. The progression of Nogare's power is quite alarming. I'm suprised that you didn't kill him in the first battle, Kasei." The man, Armaggedon, said in dissapointment. The Rebel Flame bowed down. "Master, I did at the time what I saw to be the correct course of action, and I-" He was cut off as Armaggedon waved his hand. "No need. Pulse. Finish off Nogare." He said, and the hylian smiled.
Days passed, and Nogare appeared again, in case he came back this way, which he was sure by many calculations that he would. He was alive, and still a threat to Hyrule. Shadowmeld once again hiding him, he wandered around. He sat on a rock, and waited.
He had only been sitting and watching for two minutes when he heard a sound - a sound like footsteps, but moving at a horse's speed, perhaps faster. He sat up at once, Belegcam at the ready.
In an undertone, he murmured, "Show yourself..." this was likely not Kasei...
OOC: you brought this on yourself...I'll be ending it in one post, ok?
IC: The man who stepped out of the shadows was just that, a man. Normal, wearing civilian clothes, not a weapon in sight. The only thing odd with him was the clearly malevolent smile he sported to the world.
"So, Grayblade, you and your freinds seem to have annoyed us greatly....Jack, Kairos, Rimnos, and Kasei, almost....You just seem to pick us off one by one, eh?" The man said. Suddenly, he was right in front of Nogare. "Allow my the pleasantries. My only name is simply 'Pulse'. I have been given orders to remove you permanently." He said, then reached out and touched Nogare's chest.
It happened instantly, the pain, it racked through Nogare's whole body. He had probably never experienced it before, but he knew full well what was going on: He was having a heart attack.
"My powers give me unlimited 'speed' and 'pulse', hence my name. In the few seconds you have left, know that I just accelerated your heart and gave you that heart attack. Enjoy death, my good freind..."
Nogare had been prepared for a fight ever since he felt Pulse's presence from behind the tree. He held a firm grip on Belegcam, and shot his mind into his opponents - only to come across a head-throbbing barrier. He stood, Belegcam ready at his stance... but what Pulse had in store for him was beyond his expectation...
His heart gave a sudden throb in his chest, and he doubled over in pain, dropping Belegcam and clutching his heart. Through his pangs of agony and roaring blood pressure, he could hardly notice what a racket his screams were making. Torture worse than he had ever felt... worse than his time when he was a prisoner in Death Mountain, always beaten just for being a Blade. Where he wasted away a life of soulless sorrow, as if he died every time he went to sleep... One whole year... Those years comprised into this split second, hammering his heart against his stone-hard chest, refusing to let it out...
The view from his eyes painted over from night-black to blood-red, gripping holes out of the grass. Darkness beyond that of night was taking him... a life as a poe soul awaited him, leaving the fate of Hyrule behind him like a distant memory.
Life flashed before him - from his first years, images of his long-dead mother, of his training, education, life as being known as a Blade to the other kids in Saria, which gave him somewhat unwanted attention, though he always gave them a grin back that seemed to warm people's hearts - OUCH! - his heart gave an accented beat, making him lose breath even faster....
... All the things his heart possessed came before him now like a slide show: the image of Hyrule's banner, his family portrait, the people he was born to protect, who loved to be around him. The smile of a girl he had seen once before, and knew he would never meet again, his friends, his meaning... and Aingafea, the oracle of Nayru's Temple that he had fallen in love with. His heart slowed down... and the red broke into a sunrise of darkness, and shot a burst of light from his hand, without Belegcam. He felt a surge of control throughout his body, as if it weren't pulsing at all by the will of this evil magician.
He took Belegcam back into his hand, where it felt far more comfortable, and he pointed it at Pulse. "You've got a good power. It's useful. But it won't stop me. Malcontent will not overcome me, coward! Now face me!!" He dove forward, his body horizontal to the ground with the momentum of his dive, and he jabbed for his enemy's hand, reaching out anew with his heart to keep him alive as it ever had. He knew Pulse would block it, but the spar had only just begun. He couldn't risk reaching into the barriers of his mind yet, however, for fear of losing concentration on all he loved.
It would be a fair fight: speed against a heart so alive to crush all fear; Pulse lacked his ability to pummel Nogare with his control of blood-pressure, and Nogare couldn't risk using telepathy and mind-control. Fair trade.
OOC: Blood pressure?
IC: "Kuhuhuhuhu....So, you got up, even from that, eh? You really are his kid, eh, son of grayblade?" Pulse said. "I regret not killing that old faggot off myself, really, but I guess you'll do, boy!" He said, and shot forward faster than the eye could see. In an instand he was ramming his fist forward at Nogare....
....Only to have it just barely blocked by Belegcam.
"So, you're fast, as well..." He said. Damnit, I usually kill them off in one hit, too quick...I almost never fight. He brought up his foot faster than anything, and kicked Nogare up. "You can't avoid my blows in midair!" He said, and jumped up to attack more...
