I'm posting this here because I'm pretty sure that, for the moment, few people visit the HA2 Forum and therefore would be unlikely to see this if I posted it there.

I had an idea for a plot element in a potential story that could be posted on HA2/HA3, a group loyal to Hyrule Kingdom known as the True Knights. While details are undecided as of yet, the overall idea is that the members of this group all wield 'Legendary' weapons shown throughout the Zelda series, and are each the sole users of said weapons.

Now there's a few problems I'm experiencing with this group. The first and foremost issue, "who wields what weapon?", is a topic of heated debate within my mind. While it's an iron-woven fact that Link will wield the Master Sword, there are several other blades shown throughout the series with mystical properties, and finding appropriate users for such weapons is difficult. After all, I want there to be good reason behind why people have these weapons. I have a few in mind already as well as possible reasons for why they have such weapons, but for other items it's a mystery.

So far I've gotten this:

Master Sword - Wielded by Link for obvious reasons.
The Magic Sword I hope to have wielded by Zelda, as the blade she uses in TP resembles artwork of the Magic Sword shown in LoZ, and I think it fits.
The Lokomo Sword would be held by Byrne. After his reincarnation it stands to reason that he would wield the blade of his people in combat.
The Phantom Sword I want Ralph, from OOA, to wield. There's not really a whole of of reason for this one. I just find it appropriate that the protector of the Oracle of Ages would have a blade that manipulates time. There could be a plot reason for how he even gets the weapon.

I also brought up the <a href="http://s1109.photobucket.com/albums/h43 ... pg">Divine Dagger</a> and <a href="http://s1109.photobucket.com/albums/h43 ... pg">Sacred Spear</a>, which would be wielded by Kasei and Nogare, repectively.

Other weapons I want to appear include the White/Noble Sword, the Seashell Sword, the Goddess Bow, Biggoron's Sword and the Four Sword. I have no clue who in the Zelda universe is appropriate for wielding these blades or if we should have other characters made to use them (Though I would appreciate a Goron Character holding Biggoron's Sword).

Aside from that, I also doubt that these are all the weapons that could appear in the series. They don't have to be limited to just swords, mind you, but I just can't seem to think of any other weapons that appear. I'm also not against the idea of you guys coming up with sword ideas (as long as they'd fit in to the Zelda universe).

In addition, while the abilities of most of the weapons I've mentioned are pretty strait forward, I'd like it if each weapon has a unique ability of it's own (for example the Goddess Bow can form Light Arrows at will, while the Phantom Sword can freeze time, etc) and not all of the weapons above have laid-out powers, so help there would be appreciated as well.

So, and ideas? Suggestions? Please don't ignore this, I want to make it happen.

I'm down (and not just because I get to be a True Knight XD). HA2 does need activity still, until HA3 comes around, and that could be a while. I'm thinking that a Goron could use the Biggoron Sword, Kasei, a cleric use the goddess bow, and seashell sword... I dunno, someone who does a lot of scouring... lol... Bad joke. Anyways, let's give a layout of who we want as True Knights. Do you think that maybe each of the Four Knights of Hyrule or something have a shard of the four sword... no that would be lame. But you want the canon Zelda characters to appear in HA2? I could conjure up some NPCs to be the other true Knights, but I think since two playable characters are True Knights, it's only fair to have others to do the same. If that's how you want to do it, Kasei. I'm open to ideas, it's your show. Just as long as I have room for whatever story I wanted Nogare to have in it as well, which I'm sure there can be room for. Despite my quantity of posts, I'm sure not many people can answer a trivia on Nogare

Agreed, as far as HA is concerned, I personally say screw all theories and timelines, no single player will ever agree on a single anything. I say just go with whatever pops into our heads. That's my HA rule of thumb. Everything for my story says that every other Zelda game has taken place already.

So we got Sovelis, Leth, Nogare and I doing this. The setting would be Hyrule, a layout similar to OOT/TP mix. Zelda is on the throne and the world is at peace, with the True Knights set up to uphold order etc etc. This would be independent of other Zelda time lines, so you can reference pretty much anything here.

You all know which weapons you've picked, correct? I'd like you to each make a brief Bio about your characters in this setting, I'll do mine hopefully soon, and we can get started.

Story: Kasei was originally a poor thief who made a living by swiping treasures from rich-looking citizens around town. Due to his nature, he often uses his ill-gotten gains to help the beggars and poor in town.

One day, the thief spotted four Castle Guards transporting a valuable-looking chest to the Palace. As they passed near an alley, Kasei swiped away the chest and vanished from site to find out what was inside. Expecting to find riches, he was disappointed to discover an ornate, three-pronged dagger bearing the royal symbol. Taking the dagger in hand, he continued running.

The guards eventually caught up, with backup from two of the True Knights, who detained him despite his struggles. While awaiting sentence in the Castle Dungeons, Kasei was surprised when Zelda herself visited his cell, and offered him a seat as one of her True Knights, explaining the significance of the Divine Dagger which he was able to wield. Hesitant, but seeing the opportunities to be gained, Kasei accepted her offer.
