Built as an add-on to the corner of the great library is a small kiosk. Notices are nailed to a board on the outside of it, and behind the counter sits a very stern woman.

As you approach, she looks up at you. "Perhaps you are wondering why this structure has been erected by the library. As you may have heard, there was an attack on the Barracks recently, and the Knights are a little shorthanded. They aren't able to respond to all emergencies with quite the efficiency they have before. Add this to increasing Exile activity, and several emergencies formerly handled by the Knights are now left unanswered. Therefore, we have recieved orders to take these requests and make them open to adventurers. There may be rewards, there many not."

Eberron looked closely at the message and thought quietly to himself. He had decided to travel, he had seen flowers and trees and eaten all kinds of rocks now and discovering the truth behind his father's death was most important to him at this time... but he something about this case caught his eye.

He rolled the word around his mouth, savouring it. Perhaps that was what he could describe himself as. His father as. He couldn't let people be hurt, and despite his lack of any training or knowledge of how to fight... He had the wooden objects he had traded the shiny green stones for. And he knew that now knowing about this case, he had no real choice. He would look for the man, and discover what was wrong. Perhaps this was a mirror of his father's fate even. Whatever these "moblins" were. They could have hurt his father. Been the reason he was now sleeping back at their mountain home. This was his duty now. Until he discovered what had become of his father, he would eat the rocks he found, smell the flowers and do his utmost to help those around. Besides, what better way to make friends. Turning around and shifting the enormous bag on his back slightly, Eberron walked back out the way he had come.
