As Reti enters Rauru Town, she notices all the people she passes staring at her. What are they looking at, she thinks. She then remembers, to them, she looks like a 10 year old. Taver hovers close to her, wondering why these people do not have fairies like Reti. "Taver", she says,"do you think you could look around and find a library or something? Someone who has a lot of knowledge will know what I'm looking for." He nods then, in a flash, he zooms down the roads in search.

A woman stops and asks "sweetie, are you lost?" Reti shakes her head. "No, I'm not", she replies. "I may look like a child, but I am a Kokiri and I need to get to your library. I must save my home". The woman laughs, "Aww, isn't that cute, playing make believe. Run along and go find your mother." Reti becomes flushed with anger. She didn't believe me!

"Reti! I found it. Follow me", Taver yells. Reti runs away from the woman and her eyes follow Reti. "Thank goodness, that lady believes I'm just a child", she points at the lady and to her surprise the young woman is in shock. Reti smiles a little. "I think she believes me now", she says with a small laugh. "Come on, show me where the library is", she says and she runs after Taver following him to the library.

After a few twist and turns through the bustling city, they arrive at the library. Or what thistown calls a library. She walks up the steps and turns to Taver. "I think you should hide in my cloak. Just so we don't scare too many people", she said. He ponders this for a moment, then nods and flies into her cloak. She turns to the door and opens it slowly. A wave of dust and old parchment blows into her face. As her eyes adjust to the building, she looks for someone who can help her.

She sees a small man hovering in the corner near a pile of books. He had smallaeyes and speckled gray hair, he was slightly haunched over from old age. She approachedhim slowly and then tapped on his shoulder. He turned around slowly and looked around for a moment, and then looked down at her. "Excuse me sir, but could direct me to the books about the Thicket?", she asks timidly. He does nothing for a moment, except stare at her. She stares back waiting for a reply. "Now why would a young lass like you want books ons place like that?", he says. His voice is hoarse from age but familiar in a calming sense. He chuckles and says, I know why your here. You have no need to worry. Follow me."I
He slowly begins to walk towards the back of the library. She looks around for a moment and then begins walking after him. Slowly they make there way to older parts of the library, were the books no longer we books. They became scrolls. "Here you go. This is where all your information will be that will help you.", he said. "Thank you for your help sir", she replies. He chuckles then walks away.

Taver flies out of her cloak and looks around. "Is he gone?", he asked. Reti nodded, "Look for anything that has to do with the Thicket." They begin search for what they need grabbing scrolls here and there and placing them on the table. Soon they found all that they could. Eight scrolls. That's all there is, she thought. He heart fell a little seeing how there was so little information on her home. "Alright, lets get to searching", she says. "Reti, do you know what we are looking for?", asks Taver. She stops for a moment. She didn't know what she was looking for. He didn't tell me what it was called or anything all he gave me was a vision of it, she thought. "I don't know. All I know is what it looks like", she said. She felt even more hopeless than before. Taver looks at her and says, "Alright, well what does it look like?" She explains to him a stone of green. "It carries a power that will save the forest.", she says. Taver looks at her and says,"Alright, now that we have an idea of what it looks like, we should have an easier time looking for whatever it is we are looking for."

Thealter was also buried away in the depths of the Rauru Town library. He sat at a small table against the wall in a chair that was almost too frail and small for him. An oil-burning lantern sat on the table, illuminating a pile of scrolls the thief was glazing over. Rauru was a town with a long and deep history. Ruto Town to the north, except for its Goron denizens, was not a city known for its traditions; Rauru Town was.

So many skilled scholars came from Rauru Town, not to mention the vagabonds who grew up here and the surrounding areas. Some of the most ornate manors in all of the North rested within Rauru Town. Thealter was studying such manors; and he was also looking into that one-armed mage. He was trying to piece together the mage's story. After all, Thea himself was a mage. And both he and his one-armed compatriot had someone in common.

That's when he heard the twinkling of busy fairy wings. He extinguished his lantern's flame before getting up with all the quietness his thievery had taught him. He looked around, trying to get a glance through the shelves at who else may be in here with him. His staff still rested by his chair. He did, however, carefully slide on his dark mask, which covered his eyes and nose; the bottom of the mask having a long extension on the nose piece to resemble the top half of a bird beak.

Reti begins to pick up scrolls and searching through them. Looking for anything that has to do with a green stone. Her eyes passed over the old texts searching in hope for something that will help. There has to be something that will help, she thought. She continues to look through the scrolls. One after another the scrolls had nothing about a stone. She began to get frustrated.

Her face began to turn red and she slammed the scroll she had in her hands down. "They don't have anything! All there information is incorrect about our home how are we gonna find anything that will help us!", she exclaimed in anger. Taver flew up to her face and said, "Calm down Reti. There has to be something here that will help us. You just need to calm dow-" he stopped mid sentence and staring off into the distance. "Taver what's wrong? Taver answer me!", she says looks the way he is staring and sees nothing. He shakes his head and then looks at her. Her big green eyes are filled with concern. "Its nothing. I just thought I saw something", he says. She is still concerned, but she doesn't ask anymore.

She goes back to looking at her scrolls, but still keeps an eye on the spot he was staring at.

It begins to get darker in the building and the candles weren't giving off much light anymore. Her eyes were starting to hurt from the strain. "I think we should call it a night. My eyes are hurting. We can search for again in the morning", she says. She rubs her eyes and picks up all the scrolls and puts them back. "Come on Taver lets find somewhere to stay.

The Hylian watched and listened as the two interacted. There seemed to be a fairy with someone that appeared to be a young child, but the child didn't seem to carry itself like a child. Having grown up on the outskirts of the North Forest, people often spoke of the forest folk. The Kokiri. It was rumored they lived, not near the village where he called home in the reaches of the North Forest, but rather, deep in the Deku Forest near Rauru Town. Thealter himself had never seen such a forest folk, but he had heard how they were described. They appeared to be young, and they typically were accompanied by a small fairy.

Of course, this story also went hand in hand with the story of the Hero of Time. Thealter bowed his head slightly out of respect. But, either way, these stories of both the forest folk that were told to him of his childhood and his own studies of that heroic figure, were enough to convince him he was actually seeing a Kokiri, with his own eyes.

Thealter realized after the fairy pointed out that it saw something that he may have been perceived, so he slid further into the shadows quietly. However, it seemed that they weren't going to pursue that avenue. The fairy and the Kokiri went to leave. Thealter was going to offer to help, but he realized that he really should continue his own investigations. Additionally, the last thing he wanted to do was admit he had been spying on them. So the thief gave a slight smile in hope for the Kokiri's quest, and then went back to his own research solemnly.
