At Grenada's reply, Victor shrugged his shoulders and spoke to Alpha:

"I guess we'll have to figure out what they are ourselves, then."

With that, Victor began to put on the tunic in order to find out if he could use it or not...

Alpha, new staff in hand, carefully walks up to the statue and examines it. 'Hmmm...I wonder...' He smirks. 'Glad I bought this thing a few weeks ago.' From his belt he pulls out the Bomb Bag he'd purchased, and removes one of the bombs from it. He quickly lights it and tosses it at the statue's base as he runs to find some sort of cover. "Victor! Duck!"

The bomb lands at the base of the statue with a thunk. The fuse seems to be taking much longer than it should, but is soon inside the bomb. As the bomb explodes, it takes the statue with it. Shrapnel flies everywhere, and a large cloud of thick black smoke hovers, and when it finally clears little pieces are the only remnants of the stone. Grenada's voice flies out loud and excited.

"Whoo, nice!"

Victor hadn't even put his head through the neck hole of the tunic when Alpha shouted his warning. Promptly falling to the floor, the bard looked like an odd cocoon wriggling on the floor of the palace.

After the explosion was finished, Victor poked his head out of the tunic and looked around. Seeing the statue gone, he shouted to Alpha:

"Alright Alpha! Woohoo!"

With the path finally opened, Victor stood and finished dressing, weighing the tunic to see if it was too heavy for him to wear...

Alpha smiles at his handiwork - a bunch of broken pieces of stone. "Well, let's get over there," he says to Victor, but first he stops and reaches into his pockets. From within come two of the hearts they'd found at the entrance to the Palace. "We got pretty banged up from those Leevers. You think we should go ahead and use these?"

Raven ducks as a loud explosion fills the room and pieces of stone fall down around him. He looks over to where the statue once stood only to see rising smoke and a pile of rubble.

Whatever works.

OOC: Don't forget Victor, we don't split anything until the end, so you can wear it now, but it won't boost stats or anything.

OOC: Okay.

IC: Deciding to keep the tunic on, Victor turned to Alpha:

"Yeah, I think we should use them."

Then, taking one of the hearts and thanking Alpha, Victor quickly used it to replenish some of his strength.

After using the other heart on himself, Alpha quickly walks back across the bridge to where the others wait. "Where to next?" he asks.

The heart heals Victor 20 HP bringing him up to 37.
The other heart heals Alpha 26, bringing him up to 51.

Raven is grateful that they managed to get back, also he's grateful that they recovered the items from the chest. Which one he is most grateful for is anyones guess.

'I guess we should continue deeper into the palace there has to be a door around here somewhere.' Raven mentions. He then looks round for such a door.

Having crossed the bridge and met up with the other, Victor said:

"I don't remember seeing another door when we first came in here. Better have a look around."

With that, the bard began to walk away from the group and towards the other end of the room, the end across from the first door...

There is indeed another door, it is located straight across from the one you entered through.

Finding the door just where he thought it would be, Victor called out to the others:

"There's another door over here!"

He then began to attempt to open the newfound door.

The door swings open with ease revealing a room that is not too large in size. The first thing noticable is that it has a large pool of water.
