OOC: I could tell you to look harder, but that would be rude.

Try 'The King's Banner', 'Royal Spirit', and/or 'Honorable Kill'.

Quartermaster Hithos looks Link over. "So you have, young man. I see that honor and the spirit of serving the royalty is now entrenched within your soul. I presume you wish to become a Vassal?" He gives the boy a knowing grin. "Then so be it! Go forth, young Vassal, and use your power to serve your King and your country to the best of your ability!"

"Quartermaster Hithos, I would like to train in the way of a vassel."

Quartermaster Hithos grins at the newcomer to his shop. "That is excellent news, my young friend! Well, I can make you a vassal, but you must show your devotion to the service of royalty by spending at least 3 TP on Vassal-specific abilities. Return to me once you have done so!"

Narrator wrote:<img src="images/npcs/smith.gif" align="right">"Hello there!" the Quartermaster bellows as he spies you walking into the shop. I am the Hylian Knights' official Quartermaster, and it is my job to supply the troops, and adventurers such as yourself, with top of the line military-issue Deku-crafted equipment!
Perhaps you would like to <a href="shop_inventory.php?action=shoplist&shop=1">peruse my wares</a>?
"Oh! And if you are looking to get training in the ways of the Grunt Base Class, then I am your Quartermaster to those ends. Let me know if you are interested so we can begin the training."
I want training

"Well then, lad," Hithos says, "my training methods are quite simple! Simply travel throughout Hyrule, collecting Talent Points, and then spend at least three of these TP on skills that are specific to the Main Class you'd like to one day be a part of: Vassal, Nomad, or Mercenary. Once you have done so, then return to me immediately and let me know!"

OOC: Where can we get a 2handed sword?
Posted: Sat Feb 24, 2007 5:26 pm
by Nogare, son of Greyblade
OOC: This should be asked in the newbie section. But there aren't any yet, unfortunately. Same with spears, garrotes, canes, and hammers. Sorry, dude...

. Hopefully, if shadowlink13 or Master Goron ever come back, we can get some new weapons and open up the South (finally). But, until then, I'm afraid there's no other melee weapons than wooden the dagger, the wooden staff, and the wooden sword...
RG Edit: Yeah, that's pretty much the best way to say it, Nogare. Hopefully sooner or later they'll return.

The Goron walked into the shop before looking at a certain person. "Are you the one called Quartermaster Hithos? I am Tetsuiji and I seek your training in order to become a nomad. What must I do, sir?" Tetsuiji knelt before the quartermaster, awaiting his response.

The Quartermaster nods in the direction of the Goron, a grin on his face. "I am indeed the one you're looking for, my friend!" A chuckle escapes him as he sees the Goron's position, and he motions for him to rise. "Don't be kneeling before me; I'm not the King," he says with a hearty laugh. "It's always a pleasure to see a new face around here; and you want to be a Nomad, eh? Glad to hear it!
"Well, in order to do that, all you need to do is travel around Hyrule and collect some Talent Points, or TP as we like to call them. Then use the Talent Book to find different Talents that are specific to Nomads, and spend at least 3 TP on those abilities. Then come talk to me, and we'll see if you're ready for the life of a Nomad!"

OOC: I have duel wield now, so I wanted to get a second weapon. So I go to buy another Deku dagger, but it only gives me the option of selling my old one. Help?
