Hyrule Adventures 2

"Uuugh forget what I said. Now I'm was sure that would work. Guess I was wrong. Denning, any suggestions?" Shadow asked.

"Well Shadow, it seems you were right, things do need to go on these squares, while it seem humanoids are hurt easily, statues are not living, Im not very strong so if some others would push these statues onto the squares, we should be able to get through"

i'll do it! kasei says, then gets up through his shield of flames, goes to a statue, and pushes, hoping it budges, pushing it to a square...

OOC: sorry.

"I'll get this statue," Luna said as she started pushing a statue towards the squares.

~As Kasei steps on to the square, another trap is triggered. It doesn't release right away, but activates when Kasei stopped moving. The elemental burst appeared in the middle of the fire, and did five damage.~

(((OOC: Your not avoiding the damage )))

~Even against the best efforts of the party, the statues don't budge. It seems that they are not used to place on the squares. The party would have to try something else.~

"Well that was a bust. How the hell are we going to advance further if we can't solve this puzzle? I got nothin. Anyone else have any ideas?" Shadow asked.

Luna walks up to the yellow square and steps on it, fearing the worst.

~The worst came. Even Luna's cautious step triggered the trap. An elemental burst of earth sent Luna flying into the air. The sheikah took 5 damage.~

Kasei: 35
Luna: 25

"Well since I don't see any of YOU volunteering, I'll take the next hit." Luna said as she stepped onto the last square.

~As she stepped on the blue square, the edges began to glow. No trap triggered, and sent her flying. After a moment, a blue flame burst from the torch in front of the square. Luna had chosen correctly. Nothing else happened.~

"Hm..what to do now. Perhaps, we could find some wood, light it with the blue flame, and spread it across the torches. I belive I have some wood in my pouch here somewhere, Ah ha! Here we are!"

Denning pulls from his pack a good sized peice of deku wood, long enough so that he would not be burned. He puts it to the flame.

~The wood catches on fire. The smoke from the blue flames rises slowly to the ceiling. Unfortunately, the other torches have no fuel. It wouldn't be possible to light them. The blue flames ate away at the wood, blackening the end of the stick.~

((OOC: And NO you cannot take straw out of your pocket, and use it to light the other torches, your not done with the squares yet.)))

"Hmmmm interesting. I wonder what will happen if I do this?" Shadow said as he stepped on the yellow square.

~As Shadow stepped on the yellow square, a similar seen played out. The outsides of the square glowed yellow, and then a yellow flame lit in the brazier across from it. Only two torches remained unlit. It seemed as if the party would soon escape.~

"Yes, only two more. C'mon guys, get the next two."
