Lyos started at the description of what the cow had been wearing. When he found the lantern next to the pile of bones he hadn’t even considered that they had been Malon’s cow’s bones. It saddened him greatly to deliver such bad news for he enjoyed the woman’s singing and didn’t want to quell her beautiful melody.
I am sorry m’lady but I came across this lantern in my travels next to the remains of an obviously noble creature. If this is indeed yours, then I am afraid to inform you that your dear friend has passed on. Lyos said, the shining sun a stark contrast to the gloom of his deflated expression.

As the towering stone colossus crashed into the ranch, he heard the plight of the little human girl. The lantern was certainly something that sounded familiar. Lantern, lantern.... I did find one of those, did I not, goro? In a sudden burst of remembrance, he reached into his all purpose item storage and dug around for the treasure the girl desired. "Here you are, friend." he said while beaming at the girl. I wonder how such a thing could have gotten so far away from here." With that, he trailed off into his thoughts...

Asking what is wrong, Malon sobs, "my favorite cow, Bessie, has run away again. If you find any information on her, please bring it to me. She was carrying on her collar an old lantern of mine. Oh, please find her!"

Kamiko arrived at the right time to hear this and pulled out the lantern she had obtained the other day near the castle and looked at it sadl. She walked closer and showed it to Malon saying; "I think you might want to see this I found it by a pile of cow bones."

"Oh...yes...thank you for the help," Malon says quietly, clearly shocked and a little stressed. "I hope she's in a better place now." She then returns to the field to sing quietly to herself.

Kamiko has earned one TP.

"...I think this is also yours" Kamiko said after some silance and showing the Cucco and added; "I found it roaming around the field."

Malon stares at the Cucco for a few long moments, her smile fading away as she looks it over. She then gives Kamiko a hard stare, and points a finger over at the second sign, annoyance evident in her motion as she doesn't even bother to give a verbal response.

Kamiko read the sigh and said blushing; "Oh, sorry. I did't notice that there."

"I was wondering why a found a lantern 48 days ago by a couple of bones!Sorry Malon,she's dead,but...well,she's dead,however,I buried her for you and I blessed the bones.She's in a better place now."

Touken was in a state of shock as he was approached by a rather distressed-looking girl, his furry ears twitching as he caught something about a lantern. Gulping, the inu youkai remembered when he had come across a skeleton of an animal a few days ago, and had gone closer to it out of curiosity. He was shocked when he found a lantern amidst the bones, reading "Property of Lon Lon Ranch" on the side of it. He realized that this must be the Lon Lon Ranch, and with an apologetic expression on his face, he reached into his pocket, pulling out the missing lantern and handing it to her.

"I'm sorry, but it was too late for your cow. I was only able to see the remains of her, but I did find this lantern nearby it. I am truly sorry about the loss of Bessie," Touken said with a bow, then walking back off in the direction he had come from. It would probably be best to allow Malon time to grieve, since the youkai understood how devastating losing something important could be. He could only hope that she would be alright.

three knocks ring gently on the air. " pardon me but did you say this is the lon lon ranch. very charming." Says the sheikah standing in the door. " i have come here to tell you of mournfull news." taking out a parcel from his pack the young man pulls out a lamp and a nametag engraved with the name Bessy. "I believe these belong to you. by the way, my name is mangenkyu-jin. my condolences for the loss of your daughter bessy. my best guess is that she went for a night time stroll, and was attacked and eaten by a psycotic cow. It is a sad ending yes,"he says nodding sympatheticaly.
"but there is a bright side... ill have stake for a week. if there is anything else i can do for you im at your service, M'lady." as he say this he bows.
