~As shadow asks for help, an crossbow bolt cuts through the air from the end of the hallway. Three new goron stand there, one reloading his crossbow after the shot the rest taking aim. This part of the temple is relativly uninhabited by the gorons, so the few that are there aren't going to take any chances, letting the intruders run freely through there territory, and would rather stick in small groups so they don't get ambushed. Usually these brutes aren't known for there great intelligence, so it would be safe to assume there is a leader in this area of the catacombs.~

"Oh Shoot, here they come! Well might as well attack." And Shadow then charge foward and swung his sword at the gorons.

~The gorons watch as their target charges foolishly towards them. They knew that the onslaught had no chance of sucess, not with their tight formation, and relative experience in battle. Each fired another quarrel, and droped their crossbows. If the intruder wanted to fight in three-on-one hand-to-hand combat, that was fine with them. The center goron drew a huge two handed axe with a serrated edge. He smiled wickedly as he hefted up into position. The other two drew short swords, ready to impale their attacker.~

~Else where in the same wing of the temple, a gigantic goron sits in a chair in a large chamber. A desk is infront of him, and papers are spread across it. He bent over one, and read it for the umpteenth time.

"It seems the Sheikah have turned traitor. Your facility isn't safe, be on gaurd. We have found from one of our sheikan agents that some are heading towards the catacombs, in search of a treasure of ancient power. Don't let the Sheikah get away with their treachory, kill any intruders that enter your domain."

The big goron, slammed his fist down on the sturdy desk. Judging by the noise his punch made, it was surprising that it didn't collapse right then. He rose up and shouted in Goronic: "Gaurds, get in here!!"

Four gorons filed into the room, and saluted the goron hasitly. "Yes general?", they said as one. He walked past the small line of gaurds, punching the one on the left to the ground. "Why didn't you get me this message sooner!!", he bellowed, "We would have been prepared for the attack!" The other gorons cringed as their comerade squirmed in obvious pain on the ground. "W-we're sorry sir, b-but there only appears to be one hylian attack." The general smiled wickedly. "Really now... not a sheikah eh? Fetch me my blade, I shall deal with this rat myself, and see if he knows anything about the traitor sheikah!" With that announcement, the gaurds scrambled out of the room, hasitly fetching the generals blade.~

"Stop!" link raises his shileld and defende Shadow.

~The three gorons watched as the newcomer raised his shield to defend his friend, and looked at each other. The leader with the axe nodded, and took a step forwards and planted his feet firmly on the ground. The other two steped to the side, flanking link909. Shadow's charge was halted by link's intervention, and now it was the goron's turn to strike. The leader twirled his axe, and then swung at link with a devastating force that would cut a bolder.~

"AAAAAUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHH! HRRK!" link falls to the ground. verry weak

"Not this time!" and Shadow parried the attack. Shadow then cocked and fired an arrow at one of the gorons only to have it deflected. "Shoot deflected again. But i gotta take them down for they hurt Link, and no one hurts a friend of mine!" Shadow then ran up to gorons kicked up some dirt hoping to blind the gorons momentarly.

~The leader looked down on link909 triumphantly, but then a plume of dust and dirt flew into his face. A surprise attack? He quickly rolled into a ball, making him smaller, and giving him a powerful defensive shell. The other two gorons were less effected by the dirt, and recovered quickly enough to counterattack. THe one on the right went into a crouch, and sprang foward, slashing out with an uppercut. The other goron continued to flank Shadow, so he could get behind him.~

~Pyre was walking outside, on the the grasses of the South Greens, looking up at the statue on the cliff face. A soft, solemn breeze was travelling over the plain, giving a somewhat surreal effect to the temple. He looked down into the well, and saw nothing but darkness. Being a adventurer, he decided that it would be a good idea to check this place out. A poster in North Castle had said a band of rogue Gorons lived around here. He liftd his legs over the stone wall, and climbed into the darkness.

When he got to the bottom, he could here the faint sounds of battle. He hastily moved into the center room, with the two doors, and went through the left one, heading towards the sounds. Past the door he moved into a lit hallway, where torches showed two swordsman fighting agaisnt a group of gorons. One goron had moved around the two men, and was starting to attack them from behind, so Pyralin drew a scroll out of his pouch, and traced the pattern on it, yelling out in ancient Hylian: "Igni!"~

~The third goron was lost in a burst of flame that suddenly filled the hallway. The noice bounced around the chamber, and pandemonium insued.~

Link Heals Shadow And himself. "Alrigh now wir talkin!" Slahes at the Gorons." Now Honerable kill."

~The holy attack struck the gorons natural armor, sending sparks everywhere. The krreeing of unsympathetic resonance filled the air, and the sword sliced through the shell, severely injuring the goron. The goron screamed in pain, at about the same time the flames consumed the third goron. There was only one left, the one attacking Shadow.~

~Back in the general's quarters. The gaurds rushed back into the room, and gave the general his giant sword. It was a oversized two handed sword made of a powerful, thick, black metal. He donned his armor, and began to walk out of the room. The gaurds started to follow him, but he turned around hand raised. "I'll take care of it myself. You start looking for the treasure we have heard about." He continues to walk, and the gaurds hurry away. After a few moments, a fleeting shadow crosses the generals path, and suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his back. The general fell to the floor. A sheikah stood over him, and fell back into the shadows, heading towards the hallway where Pyre, Shadow and Link were. Time to finish this job. He smiled wickedly, and sheathed his bloody kris knife.~

OOC: I'm going to have to interject here. Link, you do indeed have the Scroll of Life, but you haven't learned the spell Life, which is another requirement. And, since you're a Grunt rather than a Scholar, you can't learn Life.

But, since you're Hylian, Favor of the Goddesses works just as well. Just needed to let you all know that piece of info. *Shrugs* It's my job.

When Shadow saw the goron coming at him, he ducked and rolled out of the way. "Alright here we go!" And Shadow ran and jumped in the air. Shadow then came down hard with his sword and struck the goron on the chest. Unfortunate, the goron moved out of the way at the last second, only having a small mark on his chest.
