I Wish

I want to join your group but I feel it is aginst everythingI stand for. The Hylians killed the things I called family. You ant to protect Hyrule but you kill Lions! Surely the monsters in the underworld pose much more of a threat.
Sorry Captain Collonius. *bows in respect for the man* However I am afraid no matter how much I respect you, this is not my duty.

OOC: Zeldaforever (Sorry that I don't know your character name), to join the Hylian Knights, you need first to make your intentions known to the Captain. Then you can be sworn in.
Also, the Keep is not the territory of the Hylian Knights, but rather of the King and the Royal Guard. Hope that clears up some confusion.

Julian glances around the area and spots all of the people pledging for the good of the people. ' I can't believe all of these people are pledging their lives to save a bunch of useless commoners. I can't stand these people.' Julian walks off and spits on the floor behind him as a show of disrespect.

Victor, clearly tired of waiting for the Captain's response, turns around an walks away. He mumbles to himself about all the lost time and quickly returns to looking for new quests. Perhaps later the Captain will have a response.

Victor walked across the Town Square, only to hear the Captain's announcement. It was then that he realized that he hadn't yet been admitted.
"Excuse me, Captain, but I think you forgot me."
(OOC: My Hylian Knights membership is still pending.)

OOC: Darmani, I don't think you asked the Captain before, to join the Hylian Knights--so he probably didn't "forget" you ^^. All you have to do is make your intentions known to him and he'll see about enlisting you into the Knights. Is this what you'd like to do?

OOC: Actually, I had the same problem as aximili999, but the Royal Guard recognized me. If you read a few posts up, you'll see. But I've been pending ever since. It's the same way with the Goro-goro Cartel and the New Peaktop Cartel (recognized, but still waiting). Not to complain, but why does it take so long?

Alpha took only a second to consider the Captain's offer, and as he answered he did not even bother to look at him. "I do not wish to join you," he said as he brushed past Collonius. "I am neutral for a reason, one that you will probably never know." He stopped and turned halfway, so that the right side of his face was shown to the guard. "But I do vow to protect this kingdom from all who wish to harm the people living here. Whether their motives be overt or deceptive..." He turned and walked away into a nearby crowd.
