Hyrule Adventures 2

"Hmm, so is there any special tools I need?" asked Rahna who has not dealt with beserk Steamborgs yet, nor even been in a steam powered mine.
"And what exactaly is a steamborg" continued Rahna.

"Well, a steamborg is a complex mechanical machine. Ever heard of the mechanical monster, Goht? Well, these things are the same, except powered by steam, and humanoid in design. They have bombs, bombchus, and drills. As for tools, We need to meet with Jergon." her turns, and walks twords another part of the mine.

Rahna whistled for Ryn then followed Korron.
"So who is Jergon?" asked Rahna as he followed.

"Jergon gives us our tools. Oh, and if you see anything that looks like smoke down here, don't worry, it's steam. And you know the old saying, "DODONGO DISLIKE SMOKE"." He walks up to a desk, with a large goron behind it, who has a mechanical arm, which just sent out a whistle. "Jergon, Mfeij Yijjev, irb i Mfeij Tiorfgef mef." Korron says to the goron. The goron nods, and give Korron two large metal gloves, six pistons on each, and a large hammer, that has a small label on the handle. Korron hands Rahna the hammer.

Rahna takes the Hammer off of Korron and gets acustomed to the weight with a few swings. Rahna looked down at the handle and reads the label.

It reads "WARNING: WHEN ACTIVATED, METAL OF HAMMER WILL BECOME EXTREMELY HOT"

"Hmm fight fire with fire i guess" said Rahna as he tied a strap of leather to the handle and slung it over his shoulder "So which way to the lower levels?" he continued.

Korron, after flexing his fingers in the gauntlets, said "This way." He led Rahna through the cavern, which ended at a large door. He put the gauntlets into two large keyholes, and turned, opening the door. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah" replied Rahna "Lets do this"
His hands tightened on the haft of the hammer.

They went down the long staircase, at the end, a large cavern stood. Every several yards, a stone, which gave off a bright light, was hung, and some canisters laid in a wheelbarrow close by. Deeper in the cavern, a figure looms, hands smashing into stones, their jewels shining. "That is one of 'em. He have 20 of 'em down here." He picked up one of the canisters. "This," he said, pointing to the canister, "Is a heatstone, a sorta cousin to the lightstones, which you see all around. If you find a Steamborg, plug one into the tube on the back, and you'll waste the borg's energy, shuttin' 'em off.

"Hmm" hummed Rahna while flipping the heatstone in his hand. He looked up and creeped up to the Steamborg, making sure his feet made as little sound as possible on the floor, hoping to get it in the tube, so not to start a struggle.

The tube was on the back of the steamborg, and had a flip-top, one that made no sound. "You're doin' good." whispered Korron, who was looking at the borg.

Rahna held the heatstone with his large fingers as he placed it into the tube, his other hand firmly grasped the hammer incase of trouble.

The top clamped down, while the steamborg sent out a resounding whistle. It swung its arms wildly, before slumping over, showin that it had deactivated. Korron patted Rahna on the back, "Good job." he says with a warm smile.

"So which way to the next one" said Rahna thinking that it seemed easy enough and relaxing his grip on the hammers haft. He scanned the tunnels to check for any other points of intrest.
