Hyrule Adventures 2

Xokorn couldn't help but choke some of his water when the boy came dashing up to the booth out of nowhere. Some of the water splashed all over the counter (OOC: There's a counter, right?), but it evaporated a few seconds later. "Sorry," he said after he recovered from choking. "So what's going on? Something to take care of?"

Moving her eyes from Xokorn and to the boy, Ally's adrenaline spiked. Yes! Our first mission!
Hiding her excitement, she said: "Saber, let's check this out...." and followed him into the cafe.

The boy was very moved by the man's hospitality. "Thankyou!" The boy grabbed the water, and chugged it like he had never seen a beverage before. "In between gulps, he spoke. "My name is Alex, and I can honestly say that I've never been here, or seen anything like this." He sipped at his almost empty glass of water. "These monsters are everywhere! After a small bite to eat, allow me to take you there!" Alex set down his water, and stood up, clearly thinking hard. "Those monsters... It will only be a matter of time before they overrun everything in their path..."

Ally shot a worried look in Saber's direction, pleading him with her eyes to hurry.
I wonder if he's making this up.....

" OF course he's not!" sosei said, reading her mind..." I wouldve known it!' he said, walking up to the group from south, weaing very outlandish clothes, a t-shirt with the words linkin park were written on it, jeens, and sneekers wit N's on either side of them. he loked very out of place here...oh, he can read minds if you didn't already know...

Wow,Saber thought as the events unfolded.This is a lot of people to split the rewards with...oh well, this isn't about profit, these are children that need to be protected. He cast a reassuring glance at Ally and nodded. If he is making this up, we can deal with it. If he isn't, I would never be able to forgive myself for letting this go... He placed a hand on the boy's shoulder, which felt remarkably cool. Then he remembered this boy had just arrived in the desert; of course he wouldn't be as hot as the rest of them yet. "Okay then, the cafe is this way, let's go." He said as he led Alex there.

Alex was escorted to a cafe, where he was seated near the center of the resturaunt. He took his seat in a chair, and felt the cool air blow on him from the fans above. It felt good and refreshing. After a small deku waiter took his order, he began to explain. With a shocked look on his face, he turned to the men at the table with him. "Excuse me, but... was that a... a Deku? Don't ask me how I know, I'm just wondering..." He seemed a bit on edge.

Saber put on a reassuring smile, hiding the suspicion that began to crawl into the back of his mind. What wrinkled his tunic all of a sudden...?Something's up...

"Yes, that was a Deku, have you ever seen one before? Don't worry, they may look different, but they're friendly enough."

The boy's jaw dropped in disbeliefe. "There is no way this is happening!!" He smiled a little, and jumped off the his chair, grabbing his head with both hands. "No way, no way, no way!! Wait until the guys back at the colossus hear about this!!" He smiled, and then remembered the turmoil his town was in. He stopped, and sat back in his chair. "Okay, correct me if I'm wrong. Are we in a place called... Hyrule?" He sat anxiously awaiting a reply.


OOC: Have you caught on yet Shika?

Xokorn stepped forward. "Why, yes. But it seems quite obvious that you're not from around here." He looked around the room as he said this, as if to see if everyone approved of his choice of words. No one seemed to reject, so he added, "Where are you from?"

OOC: Yes I've caught on ZV, veeeeery crafty. This oughta be fun....

IC:Saber smiled again, but this time it was smeared with confusion. What the hell is wrong with this kid? It's like he's...not from this world.

"Yes, this is Hyrule. North Hyrule anyways, the Southern part is closed off for now by a rockslide.Now....where is this 'Colossus'?"

OOC: I think I understand as well.
IC: Alicheae looked at Saber, waiting for the boy's reply.
What the heck was this "Colossus"? Why did the boy even ask if he was in Hyrule? He must be stupid or something.

The boy nodded, still in a state of shock. Alright, listen to me. I live in a big place called New York City. I doubt you've heard of it, as you're in a completely different dimension." Alex smiled, and thought, I can't even belive I'm saying this. I'm obviously dreaming... He then remembered Ha2. Of course, I'm dreaming about my role play. This is kind of funny. I'm in the cafe I created. This is so wierd... I wonder if... Dogura could possibly... The boy shook the thought, a bit dismayed that it was only a dream. He realized that being in a dream, he didn't have to eat, but felt as if he really were famished. It was after that thought that the food arrived. Chewing, Alex began explaining again. "I understand fully how to tell you whats going on now. I'm sure that the creatures that have invaded New York are Moblins and Octoroks. I know how to destroy them, but I lack the power. Man, I can't get over how akward this is. Anyways, I'll take you the portal after I finish up here. Alex no longer felt the need to hurry, as his city was in no real danger. It was simply a dream...

OOC: My name is Alex. The character is me. However, rather than living in Cibolo Texas, I decided to spice things up with a huge city. You guys ready for ride?

OOC: Yes, I knew that, really. I've only seen your myspace for cryin out loud...

IC:New York City? Other dimension? What the hell? God, there must have been another breakout at the asylum again...but then....why is he so calm? Saber looked the boy over again carefully. His clothing wasn't the proper style for ANYBODY of this time anyways, let alone a mentally unstable one.

"Okay. This is hard to follow, but you have the evidence on your side...I suppose...this New York City of yours, is it uncapable of defending itself? It seems like such a large place would have a fairly sizeable army prepared for common attacks like this, they come frequently."

Alex sighed, and put down his fork. "I would imagine the U.S. Army could handle it... Where were they anyways? Well, they can't exactly have a big war in New York City, there would be far too many casualties. Listen, you're all figmints of my imagination, I'm dreaming. None of this really matters, but this could be fun until I wake up." Alex looked out the window, gazing out upon Hyrule. "This is such a realistic dream! And its cool! I've always wanted to meet a creation of mine, so... Do you think you could find a guy named Dogura Shadowclaw?" The boy smiled in anticipation.
