(I am posting this for my own reference.)
Goriya
STR: 2
DEF: 10 (Includes light armor)
AGI: 4
INT: 1
SPI: 1
SPL: N/A
HP: 25
The Goriya makes an attempt to stab back at Victor. Victor's total DEF is 8, and the Goriya gets 13, and hits him. The spear deals 4 DMG.
Victor retaliates with a roll of 12 which is already enough, the dagger deals 9 DMG on it. I forgot to add the 2 for STR last time, so I believe the Goriya is now at 14 HP.
As Julian goes through the doorway, a boomerang flies out at him. His awareness check (roll of 2 + 1 INT) fails under the set 10 for the element of surprise. Being caught off guard, the boomerang deals him a whopping 2 DMG. Inside he can see another two Goriyas, each with boomerangs.
Before Alpha can strike again, the Goriya counters. The Goriya gets a roll of 10, which is already enough to beat his defense of 6. The spear hits and deals 4 DMG.
In his attack, Alpha rolls a 7 along with 1 in STR and 4 in AGI. It beats the enemy's DEF of 10. It takes 10 DMG (10 instead of 9 because you get +1 for STR). Tthat leaves Alpha's Goriya at 5 HP, hanging by a thread.

Victor grunts in pain as the spear hits him. He can feel the blood trickle down his sleeve, soaking through his cloak. He ignores it; there will be time to heal that later.
Victor tries an upthrust this time...

The Goriya gets a roll of 7, which ends up being enough to hit. Another 4 DMG.
Victor rolls a 12 (more than enough already) and hits it with his dagger. It takes 7 DMG.

Victor could feel the blood rushing. He felt dizzy, a thin outline of black surrounded his vision. He shook his head. This was not the time for weakness.
He gritted his teeth in determination. He had to win. He tried another upthrust...

OOC: Whoops, I messed up. I forgot to factor my armor into my DEF. I've changed it now. Sorry, SL.
IC: Alpha's laugh quickly turns to an annoyed yell. "How dare you injure me, fool!" He whips his staff around, intending to land a deafening blow on the Goriya's left ear.

OOC: in regards to my friend phantompigcollector he will be unable to post for about a week. Please do not delete him from the quest. due to hurricane wilma he his deviod of any electricity whatsoever. (this is not the phantompigcollector talking, this is a friend)

No worries. We will keep him in the quest. Saturdays usually aren't as active.

OOC: Guess who has a power generator. I DO!!!!!! Ha, ha, ha , ha! I'm four days early. I am still in the game. And I'd like to give thanks to my good friend for sending the previous message through her computer in Weston.. She is the smartest book worm I know.
IC: Julian's head jerks to the side as the boomerang cuts his face. He feels the side of his cheek and brushes the blood away. A smile stretches across his face as he looks at his tainted hand.
" Is that all you've got. The two of you should just run away. There is no point in making a fool of yourselves but I guess your race isn't smart enough to do that. Ha, ha, ha!"
Julian cackles as he streches his staff out, the crook aimed at both of them.
"Elemental explosion!!!."
EDIT:Can I use my will power to lower the oppenent's chances to resist my magic. If so I'd like to use 2 will power points(lowering 1 from each roll from each goriya.)
