~Pyralin tightened his grip on his lance. In the dim light cast by his burning speartip, he could just barely make out the three stalfos, two slowly approaching, the other preparing to fire another projectile. The ranger was always ready for a battle, even with a little girl by his side to either drag him down or help him out. However, the current circumstances were not optimal. For example, the pair only had a limited amount of light with which to fight. Also, over time that light would diminish and then go out entirely, leaving Pyre and Sasha to battle on without sight. That would, of course, be a disaster, and neither of them would likely make it out alive.

As soon as this though came to his mind, Pyralin heard the tell tale pluck of a bow string. The arrow happened to be aimed at him, and he dodged out of the way just in time. The missle went hurtling past him, and at the same time the other two stalfos leapt into action. But then something occured that Pyre hadn't expected, and the undead warriors certaintly didn't appreciate.

A crack of light appeared. And then slowly the sealed door revealed the huge frame of a goron, in all his glory. Pyre stared for a moment but then...

We can talk later.

The hylian turned back to the task at hand, a new comerad at his side. The two lead stalfos had recovered as well, and once again began to advance. As Rosen attacked one of them, Pyre hid for a moment behind his bulk before jumping out the left to meet the second stalfos face to face, and hopefully at least somewhat by surprise.

His tactic worked, and the spear, even though it was slightly unwieldly, cut right through the stalfos' armor and removed its left arm (unfortunately not the one with which it held its sword) doing a solid 15 DMG. The monster shrieked in inhuman agony, and launched a vicious counter attack, but the wild slash missed its mark, and Pyralin went on unscathed.

Rosen was met with largely the same mark, his huge blade going wide instead of sinking home and dealing devestating damage. His stal oppoenent attempted to use the opportunity to strike, but the goron's natural rock hide and the heavy chain plate completely mitigated any damage. Meanwhile, the third stalfos once again readied its bow, taking its time to chose a target.~

Rosen leaped backwards, still moving with the momentum of his sword which decided to go against the muscles of his forearms and swing even further, spinning in an awkward arc that resembled a merry-go-round, glittering in the light of the cascading water, a reflection of rainbows that shot out of its hilt rather than the dampened wood that had accumulated because of the surrounding mist.

He shuffled towards the stalfos one more, not sure in exactly which direction as his spin alleviated him of any compass, leaving him with simple hopping footsteps whenever he saw an enemy parade around his eyes for a brief second as he spun and spun and spun.

He was sure to hit something with such a lackluster tactic as he danced precariously into the vicinity of the stalfos which he had previously met with disappointment.

"Hyaa----woah, woah, WOAH!" He scarfed outwards as he assumed his blade would take the initiative in slicing through his foe seeing as the disgruntled goron lacked the hand eye coordination at the moment to do it himself.

Sasha's stance instantly became defensive as the stalfos came into the room. The fire had probably attracted them. Damnit. Flicking her blade up so it was straight infront of her, she got ready to make her attack.

Jumping forward-

"We can talk later." The voice seemed to boom throughout the cave, and sent Sasha sprawling on the floor. With all her focus directed on the enemy, she hadn't heard this new stranger come in. He seemed to be a goron, but she couldn't tell very well in the lighting, it was dark even with the fire Pyralin was producing.

Leaving her uncertanties of the man for later, she focused back on the attacks made to the stalfos. It seemed to be her turn.

Leaping forwards, she brought up her small dagger and brought it around the side of one of the stalfos, aiming for the neck. Then she jumped back, aimed, and brought her dagger forward again. But Sasha wasn't exactly a professional in the fighting area, and losing her balance, stumbled back, leaving herself open to a stalfos attack.

Shit.

((OOC: Sorry, that post was kinda short and poorly written. Unfortunately, Pabru kept nagging me until I posted. So you'll have to make do.))

~By some stroke of luck, even with his slow movement Rosen's blade hit home this time (don't you love perfect 20s). Indeed, it did more than hit home, it ripped most of the stalfos's ribcage apart. The beast was now down to its last stand after the massive 27 DMG. It made a deseparate counter attack, which once again failed.

Elsewhere in the room, there was no such success. Sasha's attack missed miserably, the blade going far wide. Some how though, even though she left herself completely open, her Stalfos opponent also missed with his counter attack.

Pyralin took advantage of this opportunity, leaping in with his blazing spear held high. The blade cut right through the bony monster, finishing it off, leaving only the archer and Rosen's heavily weakened victim to deal with.

The archer however wasted no time in its next attack. It wasn't about to just let itself be finished off. It loosed an arrow in a bit of haphazard manner, but the projectile flew through the air, and managed to find a home right in Pyre's shoulder. He grunted with pain, nearly dropping his spear, and took a few steps back, blood dripping down his tunic. The attack did a solid 10 DMG.~

Tired and tolled from the previous attack despite fluttering away from any real damage from his foe, Rosen paced back, his blade carving the earth and tangling itself with his beard as it swayed with the gait of his movements as he baded in the lingering sounds of seconds passing, not to mention his breath.

Footsteps sat quietly in audience as he moved, leaving them to stare at his bunched back and the glitter of his blade and courted only my the singular companion of his shadow crawling behind him at an astonishingly slower pace than the Goron.

Eyes passing over the outline of the stalfos and the bow string that drew a taut line from his chest and the arc of the weapon casting a curvature on the ground, a malicious grin as the arrows ran the course of the stalfos's smile or whatever you could consider a smile from such a gruesome creature.

Within the reflection of those branded teeth, the goron moved forward, his blade dancing along the air and swiftly slicing through the symphony of heavy pants of breath and the nimble swooshes of arrows grazing his clothing as he sped forward in attack.
