Hyrule Adventures 2

"I'm 65, thank you! I can figure out anything if i set my mind to it! I used to be a jeweler, but ever scince Remix came knocking on my door, it's been adventure after adventure... I saved the world once... But my adventures have ceased scince a young man named 'Almo'... no... 'Albert'...no... 'Alhpa!' That's it... he's got my Shard now..."

3 Days later...
A low rumbling wakes Asita. He leaves his hut and looks uot across the desert. Seeing nothing, he turns back. A screech fills the air. A giant ghoma sprouts from the sands. It spits acid, singing Asita's cape. He quickly throws the cape to the ground and bolts toward his hut.

A jet of fire lashes in front of the Ghoma. It screeches, backing up, then searches for the attacker. A shadow of two people atop the biggest rock is seen. The one on the left throws several fireballs. He jumps down, sending a ring of fire around the ghoma. "No escaping..." he says. He burns the creature a few times. "Alpha, Your're up!"

Alpha nods, whipping out his staff. "I'm on it! Gaia Staff!" He swings the now-glowing rod above his head, and all the sand within the ring of fire suddenly flies up into the air. And there's a lot of it. But it gathers in the sky like a cloud, and Alpha swings his staff to the side, flinging it away from the creature and Hiro.

'Alright, here we go...' He places his staff's point on the rock on which he stands, and concentrates. Slowly, he heaves the rod skyward, as if trying to lift an enormous burden - which he obviously is, for as he does so the rock he is standing on also rises. Alpha moves it above the flaming ring, straining. He can't see the Gohma; the rock blocks his view. So he simply drops it.

The stone hits the ground with a terrible crash, and Alpha is thrown to his knees. He glances at Hiro. "Did I get it?"

"Ow... my leg... yep. Ya got it. And me, too!" says Hiro, obviously in great pain. A low rumble stops him. "What the-"
CCCRRRAAASSSHHHH
The rock is destroyed, and in its place is a horribly mangled Ghoma.
Another rumble.
6 Ghomas explode from the sands around the heroes.
Hiro curses. "Why don't they just go home? Well, I guess it's time for..."
Hiro grabs the sapphire from his pocket and hurls it.
"PSYCHEDELIC BOMB!!!"
The sapphire explodes, sending shards everywhere. they suddenly stop, then drive themselves into the sands below. they send the pillar of sand between them soaring upward. The ghomas screech and fall dow, buried in the sand.
"Your turn, Alpha!"

"Uh...whoops, sorry Hiro," Alpha says sheepishly once he learns he also got his ally. But his mind is quickly forced back to the Gohmas at hand when Hiro's bomb. 'Alright, I need to finish them...all six of them...argh!' But he soon stops his complaining as a smile comes to his lips and an idea to his mind.

"Gaia Staff!" he yells, and whips his rod to his left side, then to his right. The earth, the dirt and ground lying silent beneath the sands of the desert, suddenly splits open, and the sand rushes in to fill the space left behind. The Gohmas, still stuck in the sand, also fall into the crevice, and as soon as the last one enters the pit Alpha swings his staff down and hits the ground. The pit closes just as suddenly as it had opened.

"Hahahahaha!!! That was fun!" says Hiro. The shards of the Psyche Bomb (OOC: shortened form of psychedelic... dont wanna hafta type it)IC: come together, forming the bomb once again. "Hehe. Would you mind healing my leg?"

OOC:AHH! I wasn't logged in! Oh well, i get my rupee anyway!

Alpha laughs as the frustration of the fight slowly leaves him. "You got it Hiro." He jumps to the ground and places his white, glowing hands on Hiro's legs. "Life!"

OOC: Ha ha; looks like you had a case of...the Jarod Bug! *Duh-duh-duhhh!!!*

Hiro stretches his leg. "No matter how many times I get hurt, you're always there to heal me. Thank you." Hiro fingers the Psyche Bomb. "See? Reuseable. Well, now. The final monster is a Gyorg. With a horn. Electric horn. Now, if we want to defeat it, we'll need to find some way to control the water to stop him..." Hiro thinks for a moment. He seems to be maturing more and more every battle. He's acually thinking! "AHA! I know a way to control water, but we'll need a new recruit. To the flowers in the south of the desert!!!" Hiro puts away the Psyche Bomb and runs toward the south.

OOC: Better hurry! Hehe. Mwahahahaha! Jarod bug! Priceless!!!

"Right behind you...again!" Alpha yells as he too takes off south.

OOC: Yeah, great, isn't it? That's what Victor called it when I got it a while back.

Sovelis sits on the rock. OK, I feel like an idiot, he thinks to himself " OOOWWW!!! THE ROCK IS HOT!!! YEOW!!!" he screams as he leaps of the rock and face-first into the sand "mmmfff" *spits out mouthful of sand* That was smart..." Sovelis walks towards town
