Hiro and Alpha barely escape the hole, when he ground around the hole falls in. The rocks under their feet crack. "AAH! RUN!" Hrio screams, running faster than a bare-foot jackrabbit on a... well, you get the picture. After making sure they are safe, Hiro says, "Well, that went better than expected! We only almost died once this time! Hehehe... Well, rest up. It's getting dark, and we'll need strength for our next mission. We're going fishing... I hear there's some giant horned gyorgs out there." Hiro sets some logs out. He uses the Fire Shard to conjure a fire. His sword returns to its almost useless wooden state. "Would you mind pitching the tents?" Hiro asks hopefully.

"Tents?" Alpha asks. "You use tents? Huh." Alpha blinks a few times, wondering why they would need tents out here in the desert. 'Unless...oh. Maybe that's what he meant.' Alpha turns to the rock cliffs nearby, and pushes at it with the palm of his hand. A chunk of the wall collapses in on itself, revealing a newly formed cavern. "How's that for a tent?"

"Oh, ok. Better then a tent, that's for sure. Well, let's get to sleep. *yawn* It's going to be a long battle in the morning." says Hiro. He is very weary. He hasn't slept much because of a certain problem...
OOC: No, it's not bedwetting. And, what's wrong with tents? Huh? Huh? Hehe.

Alpha finds a comfortable position and quickly falls asleep. Apparently using the elements that much is severely draining...

Seeing Alpha fall asleep so fast, Hiro feels better. He's glad to see he surpasses him in some part of Element-Bending. "Endurance is jst as good as natural talent..." Hiro falls asleep after a while.

NEXT MORNING
"Yaaawwwnnn... Good morning sand..." Hiro says. It reminds you of the time Hiro was drunk in the tavern. Hiro puts out the fire, startled that he forgot. "Oh well. At least there's nothing to burn." He says. (OOC: Hiro likes talking to himself.) IC: "Wake up, Alpha. We won't get much monster-mashing if it's dark again by the time we get there." Hiro says, nudging him gently. He starts to pack his bags, expecting a soon awakening.

Alpha slowly stirs, groaning as he opens his eyes. He sits up slowly, rubbing his aching muscles as he does so. "I feel like I've been lifting hundred pound boulders...oh, wait." He blinks a few times as he becomes fully awake. "I did do that. Okay." He gets to his feet, and quickly touches his chest, making sure that the Earth Shard is still there. It glows slightly as he rubs his hand over it. Satisfied, he stretches for a second before walking out into the dawning sunlight. "So what's the plan for today?"

There is a giant Gyorg out on the coast, we could kill that... or there's the king ghoma, that spits acid... i've got an advantage there... what do you think?
OOC: Sorry for the delay, computer breakdown again...

Alpha nods as he considers the options. "Well, if you've got an advantage over one than we should probably go after it first. Save the hardest for last and all."

"Okay. Let's go! The King Ghoma should be in the north." Hiro says. He finishes packing his bag and straps it on. He pauses for a moment. A shining sapphire caressed in the sands glints. Hiro picks it up, eying the stone carefully. "Alpha, do you know what this is? This is a Psychadelic Bomb! Reuseable, Deadly powerful, and Element-Neutral! This'll come in handy!" He pockets the stone, beaming. He starts to walk north.
OOC: Meditation Rock, to be exact...
