They all clamored to meet their swords and staffs with the flesh of that pathetic monster. It was gruesome to say the least, one began to wonder who fit more comfortably in the air of rotten flesh and horrid stews. Were the bublins and bokoblins more suited to live a life of filth under the cover of darkness or were the warriors that rallied together to beat the senses out of the last of an already weak race?
He had no answer, but perhaps he might find something of interest in the caged pit that stood squarely in the center of the room, drawing his audience towards it as he waddled towards its maw. Perhaps he was wrong, but Rosen had not met any doors or tunnels that extended themselves out of this room so one could only imagine that the next direction would be downwards. Of course, there was still that locked door farther back and maybe there were clues here to lead how to open that route.
In any case, the goron didn't find himself fit to waste any precious moments throwing another attack at what probably is right now a pile of bruised flesh. Eyes tapered, he began again, to search wildly for answers in the depths of the room and hopefully the depths of this pit.

Unable to resist a chance to gang up and beat to death a monster, Eberron let a whoop of excitement and charged forwards towards the brawl that was about to take place.
"PILE ON!!!"
Eberron laughed madly as he leapt up into the air, aiming to come smashing down on top of his opponent. If it died before he got there then... Well, he was tough. And he wasn't one for thinking things through too carefully.

The Bokoblin glances all about the chamber, eyes widening as it sees the last few allies it has falling before the Adventurers' power. Suddenly it begins to shake, taking several steps away from them, obviously not showing the same amount of resolve its fellows had. "I'm alone?" it suddenly whispers in Infernal, alerting Darilan to its abrupt fear. "I'm all alone?!" It cries out in shock, and immediately begins darting all over the room, flailing this way and that in an effort that actually makes it really hard to hit - as the Adventurers are about to find out.
Taint's blade flashes forward, but the Zora is just slightly too slow - and the Bokoblin too fast, as its blade flashes out and catches the man in his side (Taint -10 HP). Simon attack next, but meets with the same result, his staff being dodged around by the frantically fleeing creature. It doesn't come anywhere close to hitting the Scribe, though - and about this time, everyone should be realizing that the beast is so afraid that it's just swinging away at the air, recklessly running as fast as its legs will carry it. It probably hadn't even intended to hit Taint; he'd just been unlucky enough to be in the way of its swinging sword.
Glancing into the pot, Saber is immediately put off by the repugnant odor wafting forth from the contents. Surely this is not something that humans or Hylians were ever meant to consume [8+6 vs. 15 Fail]. While he's looking at that, Kagari is glancing around the room for any treasures, but finds nothing at all [5+3 vs. 15 Fail]; perhaps he's looking in the wrong places?
Alpha's staff comes out next, but the Sheikah has no better luck than Orpheous: he misses with his strike, but is able to avoid getting hit himself in the process. Darilan's success mirrors Taint's; this Scribe's staff comes nowhere close to his mark as the Bokoblin abruptly changes its course, leaving the man running towards the creature's blade rather than the creature himself. The Scribe impacts with the sword and rolls away with a new gash on his stomach (Darilan -10 HP).
The first successes in the round comes from Rosen [20+1 vs. 15 Pass] and Abel's [20+1 vs. 15 Pass] Awareness Checks; though one could argue that they'd be better off not assuming that their companions would take care of the sole remaining menace, at least they're doing something of use (OOC: Still, way to hog all the good rolls, you two >>). Rosen's foray into the pit results in him finding a sealed off region of the room; heavy sheets of some glass-like substance cover the pit completely, ensuring that people can look into it but no one can access it. Inside, a pair of Madderpillars are storming back and forth, both obviously annoyed at something. Abel's something is, as he'd wanted, not anything in particular; he just happens upon five rupees that had come from one of the Bulblins Kagari hadn't checked over (Abel +5 Rupees).
Eberron flies through the air, Goronic muscles pumped and ready for a good old monster beatdown... But that won't happen for him either, as the Bokoblin sees him soaring forth and immediately turns tail to run away. Its blade still manages to catch him in the arm (Eberron -10 HP), and then it's off again, heading straight towards General Valens and his own blade. But the General is no more able to hit it than any of the Adventurers he leads, and his sword skips harmlessly off the rocky floor.
Richard shakes his head in disbelief; who knew that a frightened Bokoblin was so hard to hit?

OOC: Let's try this again, guys.
IC:
Aria quickly backed away from the Bokoblin's path. It was a rather unorthodox tactic to her, not knowing it was fear as she didn't speak Infernal.
The Gerudo, as always, called out a blessing for the group in her native langauge; lately, it seemed that the ranger had acquired some sort of magical power with her blessings, as if Hathera had targeted her out of every Gerudo to personally help. Or perhaps, and this thought was even better and far, far more comforting, it was that her mother's spirit was watching over her daughter and lending power to her words. Either way, it seemed as if no one questioned the effect her words had on them, which was just as well.

Alpha stood by in shock as the Bokoblin swung all about the arena, frantically diving from one location to the next indiscriminately. In his mind there was enough evidence to decree this creature as officially 'panicked', though being able to label it by such a term hardly helped them out right now. Even General Valens had missed, and more than one Adventurer had been dodged before receiving wounds of his own.
Then he heard Aria calling out to them - he didn't recognize the language, so he assumed it to be Gerudic and simply allowed the magic in her words to be absorbed into his body. There was no telling how such power would affect him or his attacks, but he knew at once that whatever she'd done certainly wouldn't hurt. Staff in hand again, he charged the Bokoblin a second time. He couldn't defeat it by himself, true, but hopefully he'd be able to do enough damage to weaken it to the point that whoever hit it next would deal the final, fatal blow. [Staff - Bokoblin #3]

Darilan looked down at his newest battle scar. It hurt like hell, but at least the panicked beast didn't hit anything important. Still, taking another hit like that wouldn't be a good thing. It would be best if he healed himself while he had the chance and let the others deal with the beast. Being that it was so soon after he sustained the injury, the wound sealed up as if it hadn't even been there. [L1 Life]
That Bokoblin was more dangerous running around scared than it had been when it was trying to defend the room. They needed to give it a false sense of security. A smile crept to his face as he shouted out in Infernal, "Leave him alone, folks. This one's not worth our trouble." He hoped that the Bokoblin wasn't smart enough to realize he was shouting his command to no one, and was merely trying to get monster to let its guard down. Nobody, to his knowledge, knew the language he was speaking, so none of the Adventurers would pay any mind to what he said.

Taint missed, and took counter damage from the attack of the panicked opponent. "What in blue blazes!" He cried, gripping his wound. Lilly gasped overhead, and the Zora waved a hand to ensure that he was alright, and still very much alive. He watched in disbelief as the creature managed to dodge each and every last attack that the other adventurers threw at it. This guy must have been the leader... His unorthodox style is throwing everyone off. Taint simply rejoined the fray standing where the creature would be headed next. The Zora attempted to clothesline the monster with his sword, as he swung for the fences.

Well, that was disgusting.
Drawing back from the bubbling filth with revulsion plastered across every square inch of his hairless face, the young foor gatherer felt an urge to vomit into the mixture. Which he did with much gusto, retching not his stomach contents, but his pure hatred for whatever they considered to be food around this place.
After several seconds, the six footer straightened up, wiping his mouth and swaying about in a daze. It took a bit longer to compose himself, and then he was fine, nose crinkling at the oppressive fumes.
Funny. I'll bet if anything, that made it more edible.
Oddly enough, that made sense in the mercenary's mind. Peering back into the cauldron, he pondered the possiblity of the broth now being edible--at least for that Zora. He seemed like he'd eat anything. [Find Sustenance]

OOC: Been really busy with life recently, hopefully I'll have more time for RP now....
With a barely audible click, Asayake-Heijin came free from its scabbard, hungry for blood. Glinting viciously, the razor sharp blade catches the wan light, revealing a pale blue pallor as it glides through the air to take its place within the combat stance. Within a fraction of a second his mind identified the obvious threat and prepared to compensate. Then the thought hit him, What if I distracted it...kept its attention allowing the others to move in for killing blow.....
With renewed vigor Ryou planted one foot forward, then another..slowly advancing towards the bokoblin, slowly circling it with sword held firmly with both hands, blade slanted downwards in Ryous favored stance.Without breaking his piercing gaze into the eyes of the bokoblin, hoping it did not understand he stated his intentions to his fellow adventures.
"Going to keep this things attention focused, distracted....feel free to kill it.....and don't wait around for the dust bunnies to start hopping"
Smirking beneath his mask, he returned his focus to the task at hand. A stray thought crossed his mind, but he quickly dismissed it. Glory, who cares about glory, getting the job done is all that matters.

That stupid bokoblin.. they had underestimated it. That little creep was really hard to hit. This time around, instead of assuming someone else would kill the annoying thing, Leth nocks an arrow to his string. "TIme do die, little one." Leth whispers to himself as he aims at the bokoblin. He ever so slightly twitches his fingers, letting the string loose and unleashing the deadly projectile at the remaining enemy.

With the combination of Aria's Leadership and sheer luck, the Bokoblin finally went down quickly, Alpha's staff knocking the beast backwards onto Taint's sword and leaving it dead on the ground before it can so much as hear Darilan's words, though the Scribe does heal up to full health again. The rest of the attacks are rendered pointless, but also allow the adventurers to show off some of their more flashy movies in an effort to save face. (OOC: Do with that what you wil)
In some cruel parody of cooking, Saber's new concoction actually seems to work. (4+17 vs. 20) The broth is indeed good enough to eat--at least for Taint. For the others, it was somewhat questionable. Still, what else is going to be put in those bottles?
Abel and Kagari both fail to notice anything else important in the room, and the newly slain Bokoblin doesn't appear to have anything valuable on him/her/it, but at least the fight was over.

Rosen was perplexed, sheets of glass containing maderpillars. He couldn't imagine bombs would do anything to the thickness of the glass and he surely wouldn't be able to dig through such a thing. For all its curiosity, the goron couldn't imagine anyway or entrance into the depths of the pit and to be honest he couldn't be that excited to find himself in the company of two agitated bugs.
He knocked on the glass, his fists thumping against them like large slabs of dough as he attempted to get the attention of the madderpillars hustling about. If anything, he might at least be able to catch the attention of them or some other miscreant and maybe then a door might appear, a sliding tomb releasing guards, anything that might lead them further down.
He stood there pondering all of this, searching the depths of his mind for a solution.
"Does anyone have any ideas on how to get passed this glass." He said, eyes still fixed on the grandeur of the slab of opaque that sat lying there.
