After hearing Kasei, Artorius shakes his head. "I am only a sage - which means a 'wise man'. My only strength is in my knowledge; as such, I will not be aiding in the defense of Hyrule, but rather in the examination of the enemy and the recording of the events that follow. Do not fear, however. I have many ways through which I can take care of myself."
ah, that is good to hear.
Kasei walks into the distance. his face looks unsure.

Cathy came back smiling,"I'm back! And I choose The Quill is Mighter than the Sword. Can I be a Scribe now?"
ooC:I'm suppose to do this right?

OOC: Yes, you are, but not quite yet. I'll let the Sage explain...
IC: Sage Artorius grins at Cathy...but it is more of a sad grin than one showing pleasure. "Indeed, young lady, you have learned that the Quill is indeed Mightier than the Sword, but that is only 2 TP. Before I can make you an official Scribe, you will need to have spent a total of 3 TP on Scribe-specific abilities."

"Oh....so that means I've got to spend another TP on a scribe thing?"Cathy asked.

"That is correct, my dear," Sage Artorius replies. "Once you have spent a third TP on Scribe-specific abilities, then please do return to see me. I would suggest looking into the qualities of the Epic Poem, or Master of Linguistics."

"Ok,"Cathy said, walking away.

Sovelis aproched Sage Artorius. "Is it posible to change classes once you have chosen one already?" he asked.

Sage Artorius shakes his head slowly. "No, not without special permission from the Council of Administrators. Besides, why would you want to? A mage is an incredible being, after all." With a shrug, he concludes, "Regardless, you'll need to specially petition the special Council before that can happen."
OOC: Sovelis, send me or MG a PM explaining why you want to switch classes, and we'll discuss it. It isn't terribly likely that we'll allow it, but there is a chance.

"Oh...I didn't know that." he said.
OoC: I was only curious RG. It was a poorly thought out idea. Sorry. I was wondering that because If there is anyone in South Hyrule that does what The Sage and Reg the Shadowmaster do in S.H. then some people might want to change class. Like I said before, It was a poorly thought out idea. Sorry to be a bother...

OOC: lol. No problem, Sovelis. There's no one in South Hyrule who does what Sage Artorius, Quartermaster Hithos, and Reg the Shadowmaster do; however, Reg and Sage are supposed to be in the south anyway, so we may move their NPC's down there when it opens up.
No need to apologize; it's a legitimate question, one that we've had to deal with before. I don't believe we've ever said yes, though.

Cathy came back(yet again) and only said,"Epic Poem!"

Sage Artorius chuckles happily at Cathy's exclamation. "Indeed, I see it in your eyes. Very important a scribe is: it is their job to find the strength and weakness of foes they encounter, to study hard and be ready to decipher any warnings of danger that would catch other beings unawares, and to record the adventures of themselves and their companions so that their exploits will not be forgotten by future generations.
"You, Cathy, are joining an elite group; remember that. Welcome to the ranks of the literatti."
OOC: That's three Scribes in HA2 thus far! Hurray!

Jinraiku approched slowly saying"my name is jinraiku and i want to become a mage. Can you help me?"

"Ah, another one wishing to learn the ways of the mage. Seems that all any of these young ones want to be these days," Sage Artorius says with a wise smile on his lips. "To become a mage, my good friend, one must travel throughout this land of ours and collect TP. Spend a minimum of 3 TP on abilities specific to Mages, then return and speak to me."

Jinraiku returns from his journey and kneels." Oh Great, Wise, Wonderful Sage Artorius. I have returned after haveing used three TP on a mage only skill. Please, Oh Wonderously Wizened Sage, bestow upon me the title of mage."
