Hyrule Adventures 2

~When the group steps back on the switchs, only the original torches light, not the new ones. (note: the switches, the first torches, and the statues all line up...) Nothing else happens.~

"I have an idea. Does anyone have a bow? I think we need to shoot an arrow through the lit torches. The arrow should catch on fire, and then hit the statue, thus lighting the unlit torch." Luna couldn't help grinning, she was obviously proud of herself.

"Hey Luna, I have a bow and arrows, hehe! I'll shoot the arrow through the lit torch you're in front of." Shadow then stood in front of Luna's torch, cocked an arrow and shot at the unlit torch.

(((OOC: Sorry I've been busy.)))

~The arrow struck the torch, and flames lept up into the air, lighting the chamber. The statues eyes began to glow the same color as the flames. Nothing else happened.~

"Now what? I guess we should check the statues again." Luna said as she started inspecting each one throughly, and pushing them to see if they would now move.

"That's it, the torch was lit and nothing happened?! AAAAAAAAAAAAARG! Nothing we do doesn't have a reaction afterwards! I WANT OUT OF HERE!" Shadow yelled. He then walked up to one of the statues and pulled out his sword. Shadow then started to strike continuestly at the statue. "LET .... US ..... OUT ..... OF ..... HERE!"

"Somthing must be done with these statues, they are not deceration, or at least I dont think they are."

Denning puts his hand on his chin and examins a statue.

OOC: I'm gonna find out what's taking Pabru so long to post, all of the long pauses between his posts are getting annoying.

A fairy pokes his head out of Luna's pocket, pauses for a moment, then flies out. He lands gracefully on her shoulder, yawns, and asks "Did I miss anything?"

Luna gently picks up the fairy and places him on the palm of her hand. Holding him up at eye level she replies, with a touch of sarcasm, "Nah, you only missed a couple of fights and part of a puzzle, nothing much."

The fairy's eyes brighten at the word puzzle, and he says "A puzzle? Why didn't you wake me up? After all these years you ought to know I love puzzles more than anything else. So what's the problem?"

"Does it look like we're the only ones here?"

The fairy takes a look around and exclaims "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't introduce myself to your companions." He turns to face the others and says shyly, "My name is Kumori, but you can call me Shadow if you prefer. As you can tell, I'm a fairy." He flies up a few inches and hovers in the air for a second, before landing back on Luna's palm. He grins evily and adds,"Any friend of Luna's is a friend of mine, so you have nothing to fear..... yet."

OOC: Oops, sorry, I didn't realize someone else had the name Shadow, just use Kumori so it doesn't get confusing.

Luna rolls her eyes, "You shouldn't be threatening anyone over twice your size," she says with an evil grin.

"Making fun of my size, how original," he says with a touch of sarcasm. He hops off of Luna's palm and starts inspecting the room. The statue with the lit torch catches his eye. "Everything in here is the same, and it's all lined up. This statue has a torch though, maybe we gotta open up the rest." He flies over to a statue, yells "OPEN!" and kicks it. The force of the kick sends him flying backward through the air, but he quickly recovers. Once again he lands on Luna's shoulder. "It was worth a try," he mumbles to himself.
