kasei ursts into flames, as it had only been a clone! the real kasei was still on the ohther side of the temple...if you make it, you might just besat him...

Orpheous took off running for Kasei's true self.

as orpheous leaves the room, he noitices statues, all around, statues of people cowering in fear...statues of people burning, dying, being torn to shreds by some unseen force...

Weird, eh Cheeseface? said a voice in Orph's mind.

"I suppose," thought Orpheous back.

"I read a book on those, and I can make a mirror shield out of nothing but ink," said Orpheous with a smile.

"welcome, my prey!" you hear a seductive voice say. you turn around, to see a monster you have only read about, with the beautifull nude body of a woman from the waist up, and a snakes tail from the waist down...it looks ight at you, and asks; "who is my next victim? if you go quietly, i'll hypnotize you to enjoy death..." the gorgon raises herself to her full hight, then her eyes glow. Orpheous looks down, to see his legs are already stone...

Orpheous cut off his legs that had been turned to stone and regrew new ones, with a spell called DNA regroup(I thought of this spell long before I joined HA2). He then opened up the book of greek legends and read out a mirror shield. He held it up against him. "This shall be you demise, you foul beast."

Ryk leaned down to Orph, You think I got a chance with her?

"We shall see," said Orpheous through his teeth.

"Shut up, we are dealing with a dangerous enemy," thought Orpheous.
