"Wooh, it's hot in this shield. Almost like there's no... air current... NAYRU, WERE GONNA SUFFOCATE IN HERE!!!" Leth then realizes that by talking he wastes more air, so stops talking and breaths shallow breaths, just barely enough to sustain life; then motions for every one else to do the same. Leth noticed his littte friend having lots of difficulty breathing; his tiny lungs couldn't stand the thin air. "Pi... pociri... po"- "SSSHHH." Leth interupted. Whispereing, he said "dont talk, and try to stay alive." Tears welled up in Leths eyes, as the thought of his best friend, who had been with him since he was 6, might die.
He CAN'T die... not now, after all we've been through together...

Grenada feels somewhat lucky that the enemy hasn't used any of it's special moves, but it also make him slightly concerned. He wasn't sure what the enemy was capable of, and he knows that knowing is half the battle. Still, wasting time thinking doesn't make Doomdesert any less alive, but he knew he had to wait another turn before he could attack. He begins charging quickly, attempting to sprint past the sand creature, hoping to make it to the water.

...he doesn't make it, as the sand beneath his feat grab him and throws him against the barrier holding his freinds, causing 4 HP loss, doomsdesert then vanishes, hiding, waiting.
greneda now sees that doomsdesert has only the water to fear, and that it will do whatever it takes to keep the deku from reaching it...
Greneda-56HP
doomsdesert-50HP
party-tired. 4 turns left...

Feeling the shield crash into his back, the deku moans loudly, a sharp pain in the back tears at his nerves as he nears the ground. Falling into the sand, he screams, turning quickly on the ground, writhing in some type of pain. As he twists his body, he suddenly jumps up with blank eyes, seething, He thrusts his arm quickly at the enemy trying to force the needles out at higher velocity than ever before. Unsuccessful, he repeats the motion, softer, yet infinitely more productive. As blue sparks fly, the needles slice through the air, whirring and twisting, rotating toward the doomsdesert quietly.

Leth, getting desperate, tries in vain to claw an opening big enough to breate through. Polari is now unconcous, but still alive. Tears course openly down Leth's face, and he tries unsuccesfuly to hide them.

Greneda's atack goes through, causing 7 Dammage, but doomsdesert hits him, causing 6 HP recoil, then unveils bloody sand, cutting greneda's HP in half!
OOC: greneda. the reason he hasen't used it before was cause I didn't roll a 2...
IC: with only half his HP, greneda is weaker than ever, and his needle arm isn't strong nough to defeat doomsdesert in time, he'll need to try something else...
OOC: MG, you being realy dense! think!
Doomsdesert-43HP
greneda-25HP
Party-exousted, 3 turns left...

OOC: No, Grenada is dense. And he doesn't know specifics such as rolling a 2. As far a Grenada knows, dice have nothing to do with battle. He does know however, that dice are horrid weapons.
IC: Knowing that he now has to wait a turn before he can attack again, Grenada turns his mind back to the water, trying to decide how to lure the enemy away from the water, he takes a few quick glaces around the room, searching for anything that he could have missed. Drawing his blade, he remembers that doomsdesert has a connection with the room, so he swirls the blade until it faces straight downward, crushing the handle as he forces it toward the ground.

raaaaaaaaaaaarghhhh! The room shakes, and the sand recedes from greneda's blade, 4 damage is dealt... doomsdesert screams in pain, and wacks greneda away.
the deku feels the whole room, maybe the whole temple, shake with pain and fury at the sand beasts injury, greneda had struck a hard blow indeed, and will now pay the price.
doosdesert lifted an arm of sand, and smashed it down on greneda, causing 6 HP loss...
doomsdesert-39HP
greneda-19HP
party-insane, 2 turns left...
OOB (out of battle): leth, cathy and link can struggle all they want, byt it is futile, the sand molds itself around them...

"can't... breathe... need... air!" with that he madly squirms in the sand, going delerious. "Dad... dad! NOOOOOOOO!!!" Leth screams. "Got to... get away..." He seems to not know what is happening around him, as if he is in another world.

Grenada decides that he has to try something dramatic. Closing his eyes, it's apparent that his body is trembling. Gripping his sword tightly, his eyelids slide open quickly, revealing bloodshot eyes, dripping with fear. He takes his sword and slowly replaces it in it's sheath; a sigh follows. Dragging his body downward, he places his hand deep into the sand, clenching his fist around a clump, he attempts to draw it outward, hoping to draw some reaction from the doomsdesert, possibly allowing him some advantage.
