Frowning ever so slightly at Julian she shrugs in such a way that has caused men over the centuries to sigh at women. Reaching into her bodice she pulls out a handkerchief and proffers it to Julian, “Take this favor for your task gentle mage, it may work better.” (OCC: I haven’t noticed a clothing stores around… so I am just generating “narrative” hankies). The handkerchief wafts the smell of sea foam, roses, and the slight odor of a woman’s flesh.
“It is good to see you again Victor! I do remember your melodies, a true profit of poetry! Here, have a mug of the last pressing of the season.” The man holds out a clay mug full of an amber liquid the smell of cinnamon, apples, and cloves rise up. “This one reminds me of running in golden and crimson leaves, like the sunset has shattered upon the trees.” A warm smile, “Drink and enjoy!”
OCC: Ugg it has been a while sence I have writen for these two... It'll get better, I promis.
I agree with Sheng, It would be nice just to know how many times MG will post a GM comment, such as twice a day. Then the posts can flow all week. We could still have schedualed times, but they wouldn't need to be so long.

OOC: Ok, I'm leaving! This goes WAY TOO FAST. Either you all are geniuses, or this mustn't have been too hard... I'm outa here...

Having heard the news of the terrorist invaders, Darilan shows up on the doorstep of trouble. This was the source of the problem, and he would follow the trail of blood to find his friends. He isn't of a violent nature, but he hopes to reign destruction on the monsters rather than mend the wounds of his comrads.

OOC: I agree about having it moving during the week, but don't get home until 6 est. With that being the situation, it doesn't really give much time to do any more than 1 post if we're all not here. I am free Sat., and would like to continue then(I'll be there for sure this time...). Sun. is definitely out though, so if we could get together on Sat, that would be great.
Also, not this, but next Friday(the 10th) I have no school, so that's a possibility if people can be here.
Sheng, I'll probably do timed checks during the together events. Since I can't get here with any regularity during the week, I think it'd be better not to.
I already acknowledged the rain, but since it was kind of an obscure mention...
IC: The party recognizes the warming air, followed by a cold rain that flings itself into the area suddenly. The pitter-patter of the drops is rhythmic, a steady drone that seems to melt the ground below. With each second the water grows a little more than is absorbed.
Julian's hand runs across the engraved letters roughly. Though the scratching is little more than irritating, it is not a pleasant feel. He soon realizes the words are in Zoran, and as a result he can read them. They read:
'Leave this door and it will open!'

OOC: Doggone it! Sorry guys, but I'll be out of town this weekend with a 90% chance of no internet access while I'm away. *sighs* Gotta run, so... cya all during the week next week ^^!

OOC : My parents are going away for a cruise and in the process making me stay at their friends' house, with a far more limited internet time. So I won't be around much on Saturday. Any time after 4PM est. during the week is fine, except friday, since I'll most likely be working 'til 9:30.... Saturday the 11th should be no problem, though. Sorry for my crappy schedule, I'll see you all in unexpected times. See ya later!

OOC: I, too, will be MIA this weekend. Well, most likely, anyways. If lady luck pays me a visit, I may be on. But I seriously doubt it. In fact, its every other Saturday that I'm gone all day. Unless a certain someone will invite me over for a HA2 fest at his house...

OOC:Yes!!! Woot, I finally deciphered that damn code...but I'm sorry to say that my Saturday participation is on rain check as I'm going to meet someone that I haven't seen in more than a year. It is extremely unlikely that I'll get on tomorrow as I have a lot of catching up to do with my old friend.
I don't think Sat. is gonna work, there are too many people missing, don't you think?
Edit: I'll e here tomorrow for a long time, I just won't be here for next weeks extravaganza.

OOC: Well, Alpha, it seems like it's only you and me. That's no good. It seems like most people are MIA for one reason or another. We can't really continue like this, and since we've been having power outages here(2 since I awoke 1 hr ago

) my mom's freaking out(you're going to explode the computer!), so I gotta go so as to not get in trouble(kinda snuck on the comp

).

OOC: Darn it...oh well. Guess I might see y'all tomorrow.
"Unless you guys get on later! I'm here all day, and on into the night!" said the boy in front of the computer. There was almost a hopeful tone in his voice.

With more people still arriving, the latest being a man and a woman who appear to talk and act as one, Raven starts to feel claustrophobic. As if the room is starting to close in around him. He takes a deep breath and steps away from the congregation of adventurers and searches for a place to sit and to relax, a place to be on his own for a moment.
He finds such a place by one of the chambers walls, he leans back on he wall letting it take his weight, before he allows himself to gently to fall to the floor. Once on the floor he crosses his legs bow his head and closes his eyes, his hands interlaced in his lap.
To many it would appear that he had fallen asleep, but to those who had knowledge of such things would know that he was meditating. He just needed to have some time on his own, to adjust to the situation of being trapped in a room with adventurers of varying dregrees of ineptitude and only one way out which remained elusive.

Scatter, sort, quiver, boil, trickle, sort, scatter, crumble, sort, meld...
Some thoughts arrive and are processed in an instant. Others even utilize the magic of anticipation and produce replies even before a thought is conceived. But for some thoughts, and some people, the alchemy of the mind can be a bit slow. It is this phenomenon of chronic tardiness which possesses and characterizes members of society who are always late; late to brawls at the arena, late to the pub, late to lessons, late to everything.
And at this moment, Arco is late. Minutes go by before he goes to reply to the speakers. In the order of addressing, he first steps across the room and past the tree, to Sheng Long. He stares at the Nomad, from, well, the top of his hair to the bottom of it, before reciprocating a response.
"Peace," he whispers, more out of nervousness than anything else. "Sheng Long," he says, then adding, "My name is Arco." The Bard then stands rigidly for a moment, as the memory of the other man's laugh booms through his head... as does the memory of him as a Hunter, and the words, actions, and fighting, after the prey had been taken down and bled...
"Peaceful," Alpha had replied in their short exchange of words, a moment before. Arco turns his head on its side to glance at that other Sheikah, and seems to chuckle. Alpha's way of drifting into parts of the mind where no one else could penetrate was... had, almost, become... a trademark.
The pale-grey Sheikah then shivers himself out of his own trance, and turns to the third person who'd spoken to him. Blank, his name is?
"Hello," says Arco, "Blank." A moment, a blink or two, passes. "Yes, it is good to have you with us," he continues, after a period of silence too long for comfort. But gradually, you can tell that he needs to warm himself up--or so you tell yourself. He does become slightly more animated with time, though...
"Sheikah?" he repeats. "Oh... right, Sheikah. We, there, there seems, it seems that we are many in the, hem, adventuring circle." He then all but gasps out an inhale, and then tries to copy Blank's bow before moving off to another corner of the room, where The Lovers are situated.
There he stands for a moment, staring at the cider that had been brought, as if it were forbidden. Gold, pure, like the blood of a young tree...
"May I drink?" he finally asks, quietly, holding forth one of the clay mugs that had been dropped on the floor. And all at once, the raindrops begin to fall.
One of these clear beads seems to break into two, and then drop splet splet into the mug Arco holds. And, for a moment, it seemed as if their fairy-light impact actually... made him flinch.
OOC:
Sheng Long: Ah, true... I have indeed slid Arco into the "childlike person" archetype. What can I say (besides "bummer")? ^_^
Blank: Haha, actually, for a moment I did suspect that you might think he was a Goron... I should've made it more clear. But yeah, he's a Sheikah, but one that grew up around a lot of Gorons ^^.

A crowd of people has gathered in the room. Many of them he recognizes, many of them he has never seen before in his life. Their goal is the same: the stop these Malvagios from getting even a foothold into Hyrule.
But they've been trying to get through this room for a while. And finally, Alpha is fed up.
Without warning the Sheikah strides forth from his shadowy corner, cape trailing behind him in the wind that his quick movements create. He heads straight to the center of the room, coming to a stop right beneath the tree. "Alright, enough is enough. We've wasted enough time in this room; it's time we did something," he says to the others. At the sight of a few conversations continuing, he grows even more irratated. He slams his staff to the ground, and a sound similar to thunder, though not nearly that loud, emerges with a bang.
Confident that everyone is paying attention now, the Sheikah continues. "We've been standing here for hours. Has everyone else forgotten our mission? We
have to keep going through this palace, or else Hyrule will come under attack from the Malvagios. We have to stop them here and now!" He looks at all of their faces. "So let's put our heads together and figure out how to continue!"
He turns to the ones who have been studying the inscription. "Have you guys managed to figure out what that says?" he asks impatiently.
Yes, impatient would definitely be a good description of the normally calm Sheikah at the moment. For the entire time he is speaking, one thought runs through his mind over and over again:
'I hate being a leader...'
OOC: I really am starting to get annoyed with this room...heh heh.

Let's get this thing going again; even if MG's not here we can still do some stuff that will push the event forward.

Footsteps sound from down a hallway. The Scribe enters the room and looks around to everyone. "Sorry I am late. Would any of you care to inform me what is going on here?"
OOC: I hope my posts get better than this crap. I need some time to get in the right frame of mind for this quest.
