"Ohh..." said Worru, rolling his eyes. "Practically everyone I know is either a mercenary, or related in some way to mercenary work." he mumbled, looking away. Looking at Laura's hand, he gently pushed it away, smiling awkwardly. "Uhm, I'd rather not, seeing as you've got that...thing on your arm." he said, glancing at the device. He got up himself, brushing off all the dirt and grass that decided to stick to his clothes, before looking at the two who were Drom's friends. "Well......" he was at a loss for words, unable to say much.

"Perhaps, Worru, when you are done here, you may come to my house for a nice drink. Everyone is invited, should they desire to appear!" Kasei said joyfully, then went over to Drommlin. "You have a brave and rightous heart. That is the makings of a true hero. If I had the choice, I would have taken you as my own son. May our paths cross again, Drom of the seven stars." Kasei said as he vanished into the wind.

OOC: I can tell i'm not needed.

THe title for Drom is Kasei's title for him.

OOC: Uh.. that's cool, but where did the seven stars come from?

IC: Luara giggles. "Oh, don't worry." She says. "My crossbow won't go off until I pull the hidden trigger. You don't need to be afraid of it." The boy, Jacob grins. "I made 'em myself. I also made this." He says, pulling out the metal tube.

Is...Is that a... said Ryk, while Worru just gave the metal tube a once over. "Well...that's.......I have no idea what that is..." mumbled Worru, before looking back at Laura. "So, that's a crossbow. Nice. Not as good as the rest of your equipment." he said, complimenting her.

With another turn, he looked at Drom, trying to see if he could find a reason for why he stopped earlier before saying what he was going to say. "Drom...I just want to say...Kasei gives people weird names. Also, that was a good fight." he said, chuckling in the middle.

Jacob laughs at his ignorance. "I call it a powder bow. Although for some reason, a voice told me to call it a 'gun'. Don't know why... anyway, it's a tube of metal lined with dodongo skin to keep it from exploding. I pull a little trigger, and it rubs against some flint on the inside and creates a spark, which ignites the explosive powder inside, luanching a sharp arrow head out of the end. Like it?"

Worru stared at the device a little longer, Ryk keeping himself very silent after the word 'gun' was said by Jacob. In Worru's mind, a thought unconnected to that of the Three Kings, or Ryokiden came to mind, that of a strange man, one who's skin shone like metal, whose mind was unmatched in all accounts, excluding those of the experiance of life.

Psuche

As the thought faded, and the strange voice, old and ancient, but strangely artificial sounding, spoke the word, which sounded even older than the voice itself, had faded with it, Worru looked away from the powder bow, before realizing his gaze had fallen on Laura's chest.

Laura looked up at Worru. "And just what are you staring at?" She asked.

Looking from her chest, gaze slowly working its way up to her face once more, he took a moment to think his next words through. "Just enjoying the view.' he said, his eyes quickly wandering down once more.

Luara didn't say anything for a moment, and then said, "You're wierd. But that's okay, lots of people are wierd."

OOC: So............ where are we going with this topic now?

OOC: Not too sure. We could just have them stay here, so Worru can enjoy the view, or Drom could go to Kasei's house. Worru wouldn't go there, because of the entire 'Aria' thing.

Crickets chirped. A chipmunk scattered across the ground. Silence...... (akward turtle)

OOC: CHIPMUNK!!!

Worru finally stopped looking, to look at Drom once more. "Well, Drom, I have to say, that was a good fight. You might as well go to Kasei's place, and bring your friends with you. Might even get to see Aria, if Sovelis hasn't taken her for her training yet." he said, smiling at one of the two who were about his same age. "Say hi to Leth for me when you see him next, alright?" he added.

"Sure!" Drom said, smiling.

OOC: chipmunk...

IC: Drom waved goodbye to Worru and walked off with Luara and Jake.

Once Drom and his friends, the mysterious Laura and Jake, had left to take Kasei up on his offer of drinks, Worru fell back on the grass, looking up into the still twilight sky. He moved his hands behind his head to cushion it as he looked up into the stars, and, with no one else around, or so he thought, to hear, he began to sing.

"I have often dreamed

Of a far-off place

Where a great warm welcome

Will be waiting for me

Where the crowds will cheer

When they see my face

And a voice keeps saying

This is where I'm meant to be

I will find my way

I can go the distance

I'll be there someday

If I can be strong

I know ev'ry mile

Will be worth my while

I would go most anywhere

to feel like I belong

I am on my way

I can go the distance

I don't care how far

Somehow I'll be strong

I know ev'ry mile

Will be worth my while

I would go most anywhere

to find where I belong."

As he finished, he sighed, and stretched out, resting now on the soft grass around him, as he tried to fall asleep like he had done so many times before, before his mother had taken him in.

OOC: HERCULES ROCKS!!

IC: Drom turned slightly, hearing Worru's voice. "I can go the distance," came the voice from... the distance. :D A small smile crept up his face. "I hope you find you're hero's welcome, Worru." He murmured. Laura turned. "What?" She said. "Oh, nothing." He replied. She shrugged her shoulders, and they continued on.
