Kasei opened his eyes, only to discover, at his shock, that everyone had gone inside to the bar . . . withought him. Well, better late than never, eh? He thought as he sidled in and approached the bartender. "Lemme see . . . ooh! The Goron ale is cheap today, I think i'll have a nice mug full of that, my freind." The Rebel Flame told the barkeep, after paying up, he took the mug. "So, if they won't let us go to their room, why don't we just . . . get a room of our own? After all, I have money, and i've always wanted to sleep here." He suggested, hoping the others would get the hint.

Aiden looked at the men in the bar without much interest. She didn't blend in with the occupants, but was fairly comfortable here. Often she sang in places like this, or played, a form of entertainment. Innocent she didn't understand much of the crude comments the drunks made and therein felt safe. Walking up to the bar she felt a little funny, the smell of drink lingering in the air. Her lashes fluttered dangerously, but she pulled herself together. Why did drink affect her so?

Joining Kuro and Kasei she soon caught on to the idea. It sounded alright, but she didn't like worrying about someone paying. "Or I can pay with my services, either way it would be nice to have a room. Is there one availible?"

The bartender looked at the people asking for a room. "I'm afraid we're booked solid," he said.

Kuro groaned and hit his forehead on the counter. "How could this get any worse?" he said to himself as he looked back up at the bartender.

"What's up?" a voice called from the doorway. The owner of the voice, Kon, walked closer to the group.

Kuro groaned and hit his head against the counter and groaned again. Kon was the last person he needed to see right now. How could he help at a time like this? "What are you doing here Kon?" he asked, looking up again.

"Kurita wanted me to come back while he looked for Yuki alone," Kon explained. "So, what's goin' on here?"

"We can't get in to see our friends," Kuro replied.

Kon nodded and looked at the barkeeper. "Give me the key to their room."

The barkeeper reached under the counter and pulled out an object that was shaped like a small sphere cut in half. It was made of wood and had a small blue crystal inside of it. The barkeeper handed it to Kon and continued shining glasses.

Kon nodded and walked to a nearby doorway. He placed the item in a cut out piece of the door. It flashed a right white for a fraction of a second and Kon opened the door.

"How did you get that, and how is that a key?" Doboroku asked.

"I know the girl who owns the inn, and the doors are protected by magical barriers and can't be opened by anything other than these," he explained.

Kuro was a bit confused at first, but the part Kon said about the key made sense. Kuro soon decided to forget about it and just get the job done. He walked into the room. It was nice. It had a single large window on the left to bring in light, a large bed in the middle with clean white sheets, a couch beneath the window, and a large white rug. Next to the bed was a large brown door, seeming to lead to the hideout.

"You won't be able to go through the door without a different key," Kon said. "It should be somewhere in the room though. Now, let's see if we can find it."

OOC: All you have to do here is find the key. You're characters won't be able to find it themselves, so your characters must be aware of their surroundings.

OOC: LAME!
IC: "LET'S BURN EVERYTHING! PYROMANIAC POWERS, ACTIVATE!!!" Kasei roared, then burned the tavern to the ground.

OOC: Just kidding. Could you imagine that?

REAL IC: Kasei frowned slightly as the orb was revealed. He, like Kuro, did not believe that a half-orb could perform the funtion of a key, until the explenation. "Wow, a special shield for a hotel room," he said, "that's some fine service." As he listened to the explenation, he understood completely. "So, just find the key then, eh? Fine by me." He said, and began examining the room, looking at every possible detail. A hundred years of this kind of thing made him very observant. His shiekahn eyes also helped.

Kasei's search doesn't yield much information. The only noticeable attributes of the room are it's tidiness and the size. But, do to Kasei's astute awareness, a few minor details are visible. There are a few small blood stains visible on the bed, a small lump beneath the rug, and a few scratches on the floor seeming to indicate someone's carelessness in trying to get away from something.

Luna followed them into the room, still in awe of the genius security measures. A magic key? That'd keep out any thief, it's brilliant. Sucks for me though... I need to have Kumori look into that, maybe it's possible to make a magic skeleton key? Hmmm... Deep in thought, she didn't even bother to look where she was going and almost tripped over the carpet, catching her self at the last moment.

"Woa!" Wondering what had just happened, she looked down and saw the lump her boot had caught on. "Found something!" Kind of a stupid place to hide anything though.

Catching sight of Luna nearly falling, Doboroku made his way over to the rug. He grabbed an edge and lifted until he found the source of the lump: a partially lifted floorboard. There was an opening only large enough for a small hand to reach into. Doboroku looked up at the group of people in the room. "Any volunteers with a small enough hand to reach down here?" the Rito asked.

Aiden, being of dancer build had small hands, her wrists so tiny almost anyone's hands could wrap around her wrists and overlap their own fingers. She was still examining the room though, the blood had her uneasy. If everything was so tidy then why? It made her queasy. Casting her bright eyes about the room she wondered many things, not all of them things she wanted to think on. Heaving a sigh she looked to the hole, "Well I suppose I can try.." Kneeling she tried to peer into the hole first, her heart beating wildly. She really didn't want to think what could happen, nor did she want to think of what creatures might make a hole such as this a home. After all, the key may not be in there, it could just be a rat hole. Swallowing she began too slide her hand in, her eyes wide and staring at Kuro..

Fortunately for Aiden, the hole wasn't a rat hole. It wasn't very large in size, but it didn't really need to be. It had one purpose. It housed the key. It was possibly the first thing Aiden's hand touched, and the only thing in there. It was smaller than the previous key; this one was a fourth of a sphere instead of a half.

"Did you find anything in there Aiden?" Kuro asked expectantly, unaware that the key was in fact in there.

I doubt the key is in there, it's a really obvious hiding spot. What thief in their right mind would hide a key there? Maybe if the board didn't stick up, but it does. I think we're just wasting our time. Luna stood back and sighed as she watched Aiden feel around the inside of the hole. For her sake she prayed it wasn't a trap, because then things could get nasty, fast.

Aiden did feel the key, her brows furrowed with concentration. It was tricky to get a proper hold on and she did not want to drop it. The tip of her tongue poked out as she focused and then her face broke into a big triumphant grin. Her hand slide out with the key and she dangled in front of Kuro. "Well, that was a little too easy, no?" Truthfully her thoughts agreed with Luna's, that was way too.. obvious. There had to be a catch, but she didn't want to speak up. Who was she to bring up the bad? Besides, some of her previous failure was forgotten with this little trick. It made her feel.. victorious! Standing from her kneeling position she held out the key carefully.

Kuro let out a sigh of relief as Aiden held out the key. He was glad that they didn't have to keep looking. "Unlock the door, Kon," Kuro said, indicating the key.

Kon nodded and took the key. He made his way to the door and unlocked it in the same fashion as the previous door. "I think it was planned to be easy," he replied to Aiden's question. "They probably did this to trap us so they can kill us," he finished. He placed the key in the pocket of his tunic. After this, he turned the doorknob and pushed the door open. The door led to a long corridor. It was dark and creepy. The full distance wasn't completely visible in the darkness. In short, the perfect thieves hideout.

"Thank you Mr. Cynical," Kuro sarcastically replied to Kon's explanation. As he looked inside, he felt a little unsafe, but wanted to do this anyway. "Well, let's go," he said, motioning the group to enter.

OOC: From this point until the next topic, I'm not going to allow new people to join. This topic will hopefully be over soon, though.
