"hello Malon, i hate to be the bringer of bad news but i found this lantern next to a skeleton of a cow." after giving Malon the lantern of her poor dead cow, he walks away in hope of finding others to help.

I know I am far too late to provide any assistance, but I wish to offer my most sincere condolences as to the loss of your cow. If only Cousin Archmage were not moving out of Hyrule... Oh well...

'Hasn't a heart?' Alpha thinks with surprise at Malciore's comment. 'So he has lost the ability to care for anyone?...doubtfully.' He nods as he assesses the possiblities. 'More likely that some past trauma has left him at the point where he is afraid to care about anyone...it's quite sad.'
