Veran screams in pain. "Damn you!" she screams. "Die already!" She throws ball after ball of dark energy.

The balls of energy didnt seem to affect the beast, until one of them struck his eye. The beast let go of Veran, and started rubbing his eye with his giant paw. It whimpered in pain as it tried to regain sight in its left eye.

Veran smiles as she throws another energy ball at the other eye.

The monster dodges it, and opens the other eye, which is now an odd dark color. A snarl is heard with words toned into it. "It will rain blood tonight..." It was a deep terrible raspy sounding voice that sent chills up the spine of those who were around to hear it. The beast lunged in, and snapped his jaws shut on the witch, hoping to end this nightmare.

Veran dodges in time to sustain a life ending injury, but she is still severely hurt. "This isn't over," she snarls. Then she disappears, but across the lake you can see her reappear. Go follow her!
