kasei doesn't get in with his sword, instead, he throws another bomb, with no-so-good aim... rose, are you hurt? kasei attemptes casting fairy on both of them...

OOC: Yeah HNS, I know. But I'll still give you a one-turn bonus. Just to be nice.

IC:
Rose's dagger falls short for the first time (3+3[Roll+AGI]), and the tentacle slips out of the way.

Unfortunately, the bombs are wet, and fail to go off. Even worse for Kasei, he still only has 4 SPL. He would need 10 to cast Fairy...and even then, it wouldn't do them much good. They'd just become Fairies...

I hate this place... kasei draws his sword, and stabs the nearest tentacle..

Kasei's sword nearly hits, but the tentacle moves aside just before the sword can hit (7+5[Roll+AGI]). No damage is done.

OOC: Ok, i've been out of this for a while and i've got an excuse!

IC:
Cloud was still knocked out whn he was hit with the goop, he saw the tentacles and the squid like thing.

HOLY MOTHER OF NAYRU! What is that!

Cloud was now on his feet and in battle position. He took out his bow and an arrow and launched at the squid-thing, hoping for a hit.

OOC: Yes, bad excuse...but atleast i'm in now! A little late to be reacting to the goop too...oh well, please pardon my suckish writing skills.

I don't have any arrows... kasei dried off a bomb, then threw it...

Cloud's arrow flies out, but unfortunately only hits the armored part of the tentacles (8+1[Roll+AGI]), causing no damage at all.

Unfortunately, Kasei doesn't realize that once the gunpowder within the bomb gets wet, there is no drying it off. The bomb fails again (OOC: And shall continue to, Kasei).

"Stay still," Rose says in commanding tones (OOC: How cliche ). She then tries to hit the tentacle again.

Aw, man! How about...

Cloud rose his staff up and pointed it at the creature.

Elemental Explosion!

Cloud closed his eyes and hoped to high heaven that it wasn't water.

OOC: I'm not good with all the stats, so if I dont have enough SPL, just tell me nicely, please?

OOC: Well, Cloud, since you haven't actually done anything until now, it'd be kind of hard for you to lack the necessary SPL.

Rose's strike hits dead on (19+3[Roll+AGI]), dealing 7 DMG.

Cloud's Explosion flies outward, a mighty Earth-based attack. None of the tentacles can resist the blast (14+0[Roll+SPI]), but they do manage to form a protective shield over the unprotected parts of the main body. 17 DMG is dealt to each tentacle, slaying them all.

Blank loses another 2 HP to the poison, and Dyquis rises up again. Turning towards Cloud specifically, the squid comes crashing down onto the walkway with its armored body again, dealing 12 DMG to the mage that defeated its tentacles. And speaking of tentacles, the remaining two rise out of the pool again, ready to fight.

Blank: 24 HP, Poisoned
Cloud: 6 HP, 10 SPL
Kasei's Bombs: 0

Cloud was knocked against the wall and onto the ground. Cloud looked up at the monster, his vision getting blurry. He used his staff to pull himself up and found his balance.

Damnit, you...you'll be Kalamari after we're done with you!

Cloud thought he could muster another attack, if it didn't kill him that is. He took out his bow and aimed. He focused his energy and made an ice arrow, he launched it, aiming for one of the two tentacles. His arrow flew straight for the tentacle.

Take that you stupid squid.

Cloud collapsed on one knee, severely injured and worn out.

OOC: I didn't know if I had the SPL altogether, because of my lack of updating my stats, I dont know anything about my stats. But yay! 17 dmg to all tenticles!

OOC: I dont even know whats going on. Ill read back a bit, to get a notion of our situation.
IC:Dogura had never liked tentacles, ever since the first bowl of Kalamari he had eaten. He stabbed the fourth tenticle with his shiney daggar hoping to penetrate it, and burst out the other side, so that all it would take was a forceful twist, to decapitate it in whole.

OOC: Lol. Yes Cloud, you (normally) have a full 24 SPL, 14 of which just went to the EE. Too bad you can't use it again.

IC:
Cloud's arrow flies true (13+1[Roll+AGI]), stabbing tentacle #4 and flying straight through. It deals 8 DMG. Dogura's dagger finishes it off (8+6[Roll+AGI]) by dealing another 7 DMG.

Rose lunges at the other tentacle. "Damn these bloody things," she growls.

OOC: Heh heh, decapitating a tentacle. "Capit" comes from the Latin "caput," which is "head." Just thought I'd tell you.

IC: Dogura, feeling a bit more confident now, that he had at least slayed one monster, grips his daggar tighter, as he slices through tha air in a clean lateral slice, straight down the middle of tentical #6.
