Alpha raises a hand in greetings to Blank, though his smile turns to a frown as the passerby doles out a small bit of information about the Nomad. His brow furrows as he turns away from the babbling Grunt. "We'll discuss that later, Blank," are the only words he leaves the man, and they are in a much darker tone than the one he has been using during the time since the girl showed up.

Looking back at the girl, his face becomes a thoughtful one as his gaze turns upwards. 'Azelea, that's an nice name . . . wonder where Dogura got that from. And also why he seemed to act so strange around her . . .' The Sheikah shakes his head. It would be so much easier to figure these sorts of things out if he had telepathic abilities like Dogura does; but has them he does not, so he'll just have to go with the next best thing.

"So, how does Azelea sound to you?" he calmly questions once Sovelis and Nitara have finished speaking, his warmer tone having returned as if it had never gone.

She looked at Alpha, wondering why his tone had changed in such a manner when speaking to Blank. "Well, I daresay I do like that name. Sounds elegant, but more mysterious than that..." Better than Nunchucks... She supressed a laugh and noticed Nitara smile.

"What should we call you though?" Sovelis asked. "I could poke around in your head....." Sovelis grinned at Nitara.

Trust me Sovelis, there's nothin' much in there. Nitara said in his mind, so that Hazelnut (you guys can call "her" whatever you want, Nitara's persistant) didn't hear. She checked again, nope, only what has happened already today. It made her sad to see a mind so empty, so utterly clueless. She wondered, if that were to happen to her, nope, why bother thinking about it.

"Ladies, Alpha," he said, winking at Simon and Worru.
“heh, you forgot me and aria, blank.” kasei said. He had not seen blank since his near death expeience in the south greens, and he wanted to properly thank him. It was nt to be, however, as aria still wanted to leave. and forced to oblige, kasei spoke these parting words;

“well, I wish I could have styed longer, but my granddoughter wants to be somewhere, so...bye!” kasei finished, and left, headng towards e castle gates before they closed, aia at his heels...

OOC: I never got in a proper greeting, Hi, I am kasei, PM me if ya wanna talk...

OOC: THAT IS KASEI FOR YOU. TALKITIVE WITH LADIES, I AM NOT SURE IF THAT MEANS ANYTHING, BUT OK. Also, Sovelis, it's Simon, not Orpheous.

IC: Simon stood there, letting the converstation around him soak in. He occasionally scratched his chin, but other wise, he was motionless. At last, he spoke softly, but adamently, more of a mumble, "I am still calling her Jill."

Leth shook his head. "What are we all doing standing around out here for? I say what she needs is someplace to stay and something to eat. For now, I suggest the cucoo tavern. Shall we?" He asks, beckoning to the group. "And if you ever need any place to stay, my house is always open to anyone who needs it." He adds.

She silently smiled toward Simon. She didn’t mind what he called her, like she had said she was fine with any options. "Thank you" she said turning back to Leth. A tavern sounded like a good idea. She felt the sudden hunger in her stomach that was forgotten with all her new thoughts. She looked around her to see if she had any other items with her like a travel bag or something, but to her dismay there was nothing there: nothing to give her a little clue at her previous life.

Alpha wrote:OOC: Um, yeah, in case you haven't already figured it out Natalie, we RPers all love to converge on newcomers. Especially when they show such promise as you have. :D So expect a lot of people to show up here.
OOC: He might'a made that "Especially when they are female [characters] and show as much promise as you have." XD But don't worry, we're not all hopeless dateless lads; we feel similarly about new characters who choose Deku Scrub/Goron/Zora/Fairy and show as much promise as you have. It's all about diversity!

And... maybe a little about hopeless datelessness, but we all digress, right lads? <subtle joke>Speaking of which</subtle joke>, I thought I'd recognize Kasei's little announcement that he's turning over a new leaf. I did notice that the posts in this thread have all been of increasingly respectable quality, and wanted to commend Kasei and others on it. Really, all you need now is Firefox 2 with its auto spellcheck or Google Toolbar and no one would ever know that you had a dark, one-liner past. *laughs*

Anyway, here's for some IC:

IC: Only a Rito (or a Goron tinkering with a new keg of very potent gunpowder) would know for sure, but the view of North Castle from a mile above ground level is a beautiful sight. This view of bulge-eyeball shape of the Castle is the one enjoyed by a certain piece of paper, which now circles down in tight curlicues as it is buffeted about by passing gusts of wind... north, south, east, west, another two meters down, and then a change of direction...

Changes of direction. Sometimes that seems to be what life is all about: a crisis, a new love, a new obsession, it all translates to new changes of direction. That's also what newspapers seem to be about, and it also happens to be what this falling, turning, piece of paper is all about. Because, well, it's not just a piece of paper. It's a page from a copy of the Hylian Times, actually. And as we speak, it's about to touch down to the earth again...

Incidentally in the North Castle Courtyard. It's the front page, and it talks about some crazy Moblin raid that happened over in the Thicket, with some advertisements on the side for such and such quest, and a large "Adventurers Needed" column halfway down. Of course, there's also a bit in the corner that mentions a new alchemy-related discovery that some weird guy was now releasing and trying to get a Tribel Prize Award for it, but then again, wasn't he the same guy with the almost completely unsuccessful Burn Rehab center and even before that, the articles on the... what was it, the Autism spectrum? Ha. Sometimes you wonder, it's like the Times are becoming some big tabloid.

OOC: The begining of the second paragraph was very Shiekish, good job, Weienw. Natalie, if that is what you want to be called, that was a great example of a great post. Not to say there weren't other good post on this topic (seeing the mean stares of the group), but if you had to pick one post to model it after(no offense, guys and girls), I think you should make it that one. *I wonder if I can vote for Weienw as RPGer of the month, next month.*

IC: Simon said his good-byes and departed. He turned back around and looked at 'Jill' and said, "I you want, sometime, you can come by our camp at the edge of tantari, me and Orpheous(and some others) usually reside there." He listened to the answer(assuming there is going to be one), and slowly left. A nice newcomer, thought Simon as he left.

OOC: Yep, I agree with Simon, a great newcomer in deed. Also, the camp is at t9.

OOC: I agree; it was wonderful writing :)

IC: The girl turned her head to Simon and nodded her head in a sort of thank you, I will, nod. She was feeling a somewhat better, better than someone who was so empty should feel. Maybe that was who she was, someone who could easily get back to earth when some would find it impossible. She shook the thoughts away and smiled a very strange mysterious smile even she couldn’t explain.

OOC: I'm starting a topic at the ornery cuccoo tavern now; called "What's-her-name sits at a table"

OOC: Ha, you've made me a happy Sheik fan! Glad to see Natalie's OOC side, by the way. ^^ And thanks to both of ye's, but as for RP'er of the Month, I think I'd be more comfortable with a more active player (like... posting more than once a week unlike this one XD) getting that honor, you know?

IC: There is one more thing of note to be found on this piece of paper, which is to be seen as it slithers lazily along on the drafts which skirt at ankle-level around the Courtyard. The breeze eventually flips this page of the Hylian Times against a wall, and you see that an interesting story seems to have made it to page 2. Apparently they managed to interview this one Mask Salesman during his brief visit in Northern Hyrule. The part that got a rise out of Times readers was where he explained that he'd been experimenting with a new plaster, but the only problem was that at desert temperatures the plaster would go gooey, and melt at the consistency of tar pitch. Upon this discovery, the few prototypes of these masks were soon liquidated off, and have since actually become much sought-after collector's items by Happy Mask enthusiasts.
