"I got this one! I got this one!" Micheal shouted. He swiped at the arrow and caught it. He looked at it with disbelief in his hands. He looked at everyone and smiled. "I. . .I caught it." He started jumping and whooping. "Alright! I caught it!"

Kasei loked on with amazement. "Good job. I knew you culd do it." He said. Just asd I thought, this kid isn't normal. I'll have to find out what he is. Noone in my time could do that on their second try. He thought. "Hmmm, your excelling quickly, lets see if we can try that combat again, this time, I will fight back. No weapons." Kasei said, getting into a fighting stance. I have to find out if what happened the other day was a fluke or not.

Micheal blinked, and blinked again. He let out a sigh and said, "What? I think that I will be defeated in this battle. Now I really wish that Kayla was here." I'm always better when she's around, but it could be my imagination. Micheal imagined Kayla in a cheerleading outfit, cheering him on. Now there is something to drool over.

"Hey, Micheal, will you actually fight instead of just standing there?" Cathy shouted.

"Think fast." Kaseoi said from behind Michael, even though he was in front of the prankster a second ago. The mercinary aimed a powerfull but gentle kick to Michael's back, it connetcted, and Michael was tossed of his feet and into a crate on the other side of the square. "In battle, you must always be focused!" Kasei said.

"Really?" Micheal asked, cocking his head to the side. "Kayla doesn't do that all the time." Then again, she is fast.

"It also helps if you can't stay dead!" Sovelis said as he jumped at Micheal. "Try taking on multiple opponents." He said as he kicked at Micheal's head. "And remember, just because I'm a mage here, doesn't mean I can't fight hand-to-hand."

A barrier erected itself around Michael for a second, and Sovelis' kick was deflected. "This is between me and michael, Sovelis, please stay out. As for you, Michael, pay attention." Kasei said as the barrier vanished. The mercinary jumped, and landed behind Michael, the rebel flame sent a pnch at the prankster.

Micheal dodged the hit by jumping to the side. He spun around so that he was facing Kasei. "The only hit that can get to me is the first one! This is why people can't bully me anymore!" He launched a punch at Kasei.

Sovelis sat back under the tree. "Okay...." Sovelis said as he went to sleep.

Kasei saw the attack comeing. Too slow. He thought. With his left arm, Kasei knocked the oncumming fist aside. With his spare right hand, the mercinary grabbed Michael by the throat, lifted him in the air, and tossed him into another crate, this time it was filled with hay. "In a fight, you shouldn't do moves that will leave you open, Michael." Kasei said.

"Well, how do I know when I'm open?" Micheal muttered under his breath. He dusted himself off and lunged at Kasei. This time, he was planning on going for a kick attack.

Sovelis looked up. "Won't work, try aiming lower next time." Sovelis told Micheal as he kicked at Kasei.

"Will you shut up!? I'm trying to be able to fight! I'm not a fighter you know!" Micheal shouted.

Kasei once again saw the attack comeing. The mercinary grabbed the oncomeing foot with his hand, and twisted Michael around. The rebel flame aimed a punch at Michael's chest, and it connected. Michael was once more sent flying, but this time he landed on hard pavement.
