Nogare smiled. "You chose wrong. It's effect will be in only moments." Suddenly, the taste of ale burned in his stomach. (the reason people drink it at parties is because it tastes better when drunk...) Kairos struggled to hold his ground.

Nogare remained the same. "I haven't drinken mine yet; you may drink it, now, if you'd like." He still had no expression.

ahh, so you have bested me, however, kairos showes nogare his cup, it is full, I do not like this drink, so I didn't take it.

It appeared that both were very clever. "And you trick me, too. You are smart. Both cups had the Omoi in it; I have learned this trick from a book. But one man poisoned the other, not Omoi-ed. Still looking at Kairos, Nogare pured the drink into his mouth. When he put the cup down, still with the same expression, and still looking into Kairos's eyes, he said, "Link! Mage! Witness as I prove to you that mind readers cannot read the minds of good actors. Now Kairos, as promised. You say I cannot take what is not there... I know that even immortals have souls. Undead things have souls; but is not at a cross between living and dead. So, I have your soul. Now, I ask that you betray your master, and warn the Exiles, "If one seeks revenge, dig two graves."

oonce again, I repeat, you cannot take something that was never there! hahahahahahahahaha! kairos' form changes to nogare, then to one completely unknown...bwahahahahaha! you are smart enough to trick, but you yourself cannot find an imposter! it was enigma, the puzzle.

Nogare was astonished. "A... a shape shifter!" He grabbed his staff. Then how did he read my min before?!

I gain the powers of those I transform into! hahahahaha! now, we have one more enemy... enigma vanished...

"Who are you?!" Nogare yelled. "I'll kill you! I'll kill all of you! I'll be sure of it! I'll hunt you all down!" Nogare's veins were visible in the top of his head. "I'lll get you all! Even if it means my life!"

"where is the librarian? I need a book on opening rips,rifts, portals, doorways, and gateways in the fabric of time and space, so i can return home." says Sovelis. " I'd do it myself, but I still need to be stronger in order to do it on my own..."

enigma took kairos' place, the real deal is in the desert...

Nogare was a bit annoyed about Sovelis's mild appearance. But remained calm enough to shake it off.
