OOC: Because I'm going off to work, I'll just do this now, so that I don't hold anything up...

IC: Blank doubted that he would fall through the ice; Hakiems initiates were once meant to cross this using the same method. Why would it be unstable if it were meant for the tribe's own soldiers who had already passed their initiation? With this in mind, the grunt stepped boldly out onto the ice and walked towards the previously unreachable door.

OOC: Sorry it's short; I'm in a rush. Don't want to be late

OOC: OMG! That was officially the longerst few minutes ever, eh? By the time I got I picked up all the sticks, raked, AND Cut the lawn, I tripped, and swore, and was grounded for it until today. So, FILL ME IN, OH GREAT PERSON WHO IS NEXT TO REPLY!

OOC: Honestly, Nogare, you need to go back and read the details for yourself. But as quick as I can, Dyquis nearly kills us all, but we finally beat it. After every heals themselves, we go forward and find a tree with Ice Seeds on it. A woman tells us about these seeds, or something like that, and then she uses a Deku Nut to disappear. Blank found a key, and we are heading back to the room with the Moreks or whatever those hellish looking dogs are called.

Blank has no need for his concern over the ice this time. As soon as his many seeds hit the water, it freezes completely - Piranhells and all. The entire pool will undoubtedly melt eventually, but that time won't come for a while. The whole room can be easily accessed by the solid - albeit slippery - floor, including that side hallway the group had been forced to bypass before.

Dogura's Awareness Check fails (9+1[Roll+INT] vs. 15). He can see no traps in the room to disarm.

As Blank crosses the field of ice, any fears that he still held are put to rest. His reasoning is indeed perfect...even if his eyesight isn't. On the other side of the room is not a door, but a hallway. The hall extends for about ten feet before making a sharp left turn. After that, then there's a door the group can go through.

Rose walks toward the hallway, being careful not to slip on the floor. She stops at the entrance to the hallway. "It wouldn't surprise me if the Hakiems trapped this hallway," she says, taking a good look in it.

OOC: I'm using my first Awareness Check! Hurray for me! :D

OOC: You aren't the only one who can say that, HNS.

IC:
Rose's Awareness check fails as well (6+3[Roll+INT] vs. 15). Nothing of suspicion is noticed; there is just the hallway and its white walls and floors.

OOC: Just how often is an Awareness check used around here?

OOC: It really isn't used much except for Events. Of which this is only the second ever in HA2.

OOC: Damn. And HA2 has been around since 2005?

IC:
Rose leads the way down the hallway until she gets to the door. She opens it a little bit to see what is on the other side, being careful not to make the motion of the door obvious.

OOC: Yep. June (or was it May? I dunno; I arrived in July) 2005.

IC:
Rose's cautiousness is not necessary. On the other side of the doorway is a wardrobe, filled with hundreds of Hakiems cloaks. Most are black, just like what the average Hakiem wears on a daily basis. Of interest is a bright red robe on the far corner of the squarish room. This should probably be avoided, as it is far too conspicuous, but the other robes would make perfect disguises.

Rose takes a robe. "It shouldn't look too suspicious if a large group of Hakiems are together, right?" she asks, looking at Shada.

Shada grins as she grabs herself a robe. "You've got that right, Rose. A large group of Hakiems is a normal sight; remember, Hakiems prefer to work in big teams." Slipping the robe on, none of the Sheikah woman's features can be seen. She looks just like a regular old Hakiem.

no, kasei puts on a robe, but I wonder what a red one would look like... kasei picks up the red robe... don't worry, I can take on a cloak,i'm fire, remember, my name means fire-born!

"No way, Kasei," Shada says, grabbing his hand before he can lay a hand on the red robe. "That's waaay to suspicious. We can't afford to draw any attention to ourselves."
