OOC: Hey, cool! I actually know what Weien is talking about! Weien, is it this thing where you spend your last two years of high school at a local college taking advanced courses and earning college credits? I was thinking of doing that...

IC: Hastily pulling on a robe that seemed about the right size, Victor hurried out of the room after Rose. He was never one to be picky about his clothes, after all. Still, he hesitated as she made her way to the Morek's room. The Bard wasn't too excited by the fact that they were going back into the horrid room. Sighing, he moved towards the room, sheathing his dagger on the way; it wouldn't seem too pitying if he carried a weapon into the room. Victor made sure to share this thought with the others:

"Perhaps we should put away our weapons? I don't think the Moreks would think too kindly of us if we carried them in plain view..."

"That does make sense," Rose says as she hides her weapons as best as she can.

OOC: BTW, Tayro asked me to control his character again, as he's going to be gone for about a week. So...

IC:
Shada sighs as she follows Rose through the door. "I have no idea, Rose. They're mutated, slimy, beasts...just hiding the weapons may not be enough. We may need some sort of peace offering."

As the last person to get his robe on, Tayro is the last person to leave the room. He shuts the door, and is somewhat surprised when he hears a soft click! come from the handle. Curious, he tries the door again, finding it to be locked. He shrugs. It's not like they needed to go back there again anyways.

Had anyone still been inside, they would've heard a soft rustle travel through the room. A hand lifted a piece of cloth from its resting place, allowing a pair of eyes to examine the room. Satisfied that no one was left inside - or within hearing distance (OOC: Don't y'all be getting any ideas! Kasei - no!), the red cloak opens up completely.

Inside is a young woman, all folded up into a neat little ball. She slowly reaches up with her left hand as her right continues to hold onto the hangar the robe is situated on, and pushes both of her legs off of her shoulders. 'It's always a pain to put my legs next to my head,' she thinks as her body takes its normal pose and she drops to the ground.

The woman is Sheikah, about twenty-five years old. To say that she was merely pretty would be an understatement bordering on sin. Her shimmering red hair flows freely down to her shoulders, passing crimson eyes, ruby cheeks, and scarlet lips on the way. An inch or two below six feet, her body has muscle mixed perfectly with grace. Her skin could easily be compared to silk in its beauty and softness. The swell of her breasts are covered with a fire red piece of body armor, matching the color of the tight leggings the cling to her long legs. A necklace, hanging from which is a ruby in the shape of a flame, rests against her chest.

The most striking feature of all is the Hakiems' symbol, the scarred eye, emblazoned on her forehead in a horizontal fashion. It seems to give her the appearance of having a third eye. She grabs her red cloak, which, had someone been left behind to see it, would've noticed that the inside is a deep azure color...

Pushing aside two cloaks, the woman presses against the wall until a secret passage is revealed. She disappears inside and closes the door behind her, leaving no trace of her having ever even been there...

OOC: Hey, cool! I actually know what Weien is talking about! Weien, is it this thing where you spend your last two years of high school at a local college taking advanced courses and earning college credits? I was thinking of doing that...
OOC: Yeah, most people at this college come right after high school's over (basically for a cheap first two years of undergrad), but I'm homeschooled and started taking a couple classes at a time since I was... 12. Five years later, I'm pretty close to finishing my "two years"--Associate's degree, basically. *geeky smile*

IC: Arco hesitates, not sure about going back to visit the Moreks before they have a plan solidified. After a long pause, he wades (through other adventurers) over to Shada.

"Shada--I think you said that you've seen or fought these before? What do you know about these Moreks?"

OOC: Hmm... well, close enough, I guess. Ah, to be homeschooled. If only...

Which reminds me, I should go sleep. Gotta get up early tomorrow for my first day of school... ugh. No IC post for me this time. OK, maybe just a little one...

IC: Hearing Arco's question, Victor turns to Shada as well.

"Yeah, Shada, tell us what you can about these Moreks. We could use all the knowledge we can get if we're gonna risk our lives any time soon..."

At this, the Bard gulped and remained silent as he waited for a reply...

Shada sighs. "I know that they can become invincible. I know that even Master Zaris did whatever he could to avoid them, because it took the Goldforce Power itself to make a dent in them, and that was like announcing one's presence to Zaboorak." She shivers. "With what we have, engaging them in a fight would be...suicide."

Almost as an afterthought, she adds what she really thinks of the creatures. "And I know that they are absolutely...disgusting..."

INTERLUDE 3
A lone Hakiem approached Karunik. He wore long black pants, along with an dark green vest that hung open above his belt. On his right shoulder was tattooed the symbol of the Hakiems Tribe. His dark brown hair complemented his skin, which was slightly brownish, as if he had just gotten a tan. “Master Karunik, a word with you please,” he said, dropping his crimson gaze to the floor as he momentarily lowered himself to one knee in a show of respect.

“General Edan,” Karunik acknowledged with a respectful nod. “What may I help you with?”

The Hakiems general rose to his feet as he matched his pace to the Hakiem leader’s. “I thought I should inform you that I intend to practice my skills sometime today.”

Karunik chuckled. “I thank you for your concern, though you realize that a General in the Hakiems Tribe need not ask permission for such things, even if the training involves your area of expertise.”

Any response Edan planned to give was quickly cut off as a Hakiem burst through the doorway in front of them. “My lords, my lords!” he yelled as he dropped to his knee. Karunik gave the signal for him to rise, and he did so. “The three guards who were responsible for Calla have been found!"

Edan grinned. "Did they finally step forward?"

"No, my lords! They're dead!" Edan and Karunik's faces turned to stone. "They were hidden upon the ledge overlooking the Moreks' cavern. Killed in battle, by the looks of them! We immediately scanned for anyone foolish enough to attempt a jailbreak; the group that was alongside Varaudo has escaped!"

“WHAT!!!” Karunik bellowed, anger dripping in his tone. “Put the entirety of the Water District on full alert. They must be found immediately!”

OOC: And with that, I wish a good night.

OOC: WOW! So much while not being IC! Cheese Wiz! I'd better start now!

And OMG! Level 10! You are amazing! I can't believe how you can post so much!

IC: Nogare was mostly just following the others around. He had just been silently going through how he could make a desent comboination of moves with his new sword. Maybe if they thrust, I can block by hitting it down; it takes too much time to block up, left, or right. And If the sword behind me, I can make a more powerful blow, and block. Both hands can help, but this is a one handed sword, so maybe if I use my other hand on the blade's flat side, I can block harder... He was waving his sword swiftly and firmly, his eyes closed. He soon came to his senses, though, when they passed through this area...

Raven seems to feel most at home in his new cloak. He twirls and leaps examining how the material moves and practises hiding his arms inside the cloak and then stabbing out with his dagger. He is also pleased, that with it covering most of his form it will make Shadowmelding easier. He pulled the hood over his head and followed the others.

OOC: Computer trobles, sorry bout the delay, but, im back now!

Denning stops his running, and looks around at the group.

"Its been a while since i checked., anyone in need of healing?"

Nogare, hearing Dennings offer, wanted to ignore him, but he knew very well he would be very needed in the coming fights, and needed to assist them for as long as possible. He looked to Denning. "Aye. I do."

"Very well, Nogare."

Denning lifts his staff above the head of Nogare. A light flows from the staff into Nogares body, filling Nogare to full strength.

OOC: temple services.

This is when Grenada has an idea, and he drops to his knees and takes out his blade. Within a few seconds, it is buried beneath the Hakiem robe, though still moving around, it almost looks as if he's cutting something. After about five seconds of work, he slips out a piece of green fabric from underneath. Smiling, he looks to his arm. Taking the rectangular piece of fabric, he puts it around the arm, and in no more than a few seconds has it tied. Standing up, he shows it off because it looks good to him...

"So, what do you guys think?

Blank stifled a laugh at the Deku's clever idea. "At least you won't be mistaken for some low-level initiate that way, Grenada." came the reply, alive with shortened giggles. He stared at the robed scrub, makeshift band and all, and shrugged. "I'd do the same, but I doubt the Hakiems wear brown handkerchiefs," he said, wishing his jerkin was a relevant color.

"So, if we'd be killed indefinitely by the Moreks, there's no way you expect us to waltz on into their chamber. Guess we'd better find a suitable 'peace offering.' That, or we could send in one guy as a sacrifice to get the dogs' attention, while the rest of us slink past." A devious grin crept onto Blank's face as he spoke, although he was not entirely serious. It was usually he who was subjected to the more unfortunate aspects of the base. The bridge, the poison, and perhaps more to come.

"Of course, the peace offering would be better." he added, keeping the previous thought in mind.
