I ahve purchased shield and resurect, but cant get the scrolls. So could I use them in non fighting context? like in a conversation, or heal an animal?

You can use those spells whenever you want for now. But when the scroll becomes available you have to buy them.

Thats what I was thinking, just want to know if anyone has a problem with it.

All right, so do our stats increase when we level up? That's something that should be put in the rules for the next revision. I would like to know that for certain.

I think the only stats that increase when you lvl up are your spl damage rating and your spl pool

No, they don't. You increase your stats by buying the talents Goron Strength, Deku Agility, and the like. As Julian said, when you level up, you gain extra SPL, but that's it.

Grenada, your magical attack dmg does increase look. You have to add your lvl by your base class and then add your int.

You're right. But I was only talking about stats. So yeah, it's no big deal either way. 'Cause we answered Arthur's question.

(Aside) Okay, next question... How do you get that little link thing to your stat block in the bottom of your posts? I kind of liked the old stat block display system better.

Third question: Where exactly is Din's Troupe? I've searched all over Hyrule Field, and I can't find them. I would like to be able to buy some spells, thank you! How I'm supposed to be able to fight without spells, I don't know!

Head East, East, North, North, East. It's Jinoa's Magic Shop. I'll warn you though, spells are extremely expensive.

(Aside) Fourth question: Why the heck is everything so darned expensive? Why don't we get a starting allowance of say, 20 to 30 Rupees? It would make it much easier for us if we could buy some of this stuff right off the bat. I also dislike the 1 Rupee per post rule that's been implemented. How am I supposed to buy any spells to defend myself at 1st or 2nd level if I can't afford them until 4th level? I'm exaggerating, but not by much! Everyone knows scholars aren't any good at fighting in melee!
