Hyrule Adventures 2

aw crap, kasei said.he knew his sword wouldn't work, and he didn't have a shield. so there was only one alternative, to kick some butt! whiping out his bow, and with his shiekah accuracy, he shoots three arrows into both bubbles, one in the first, two in the second, hoping they would hit...

~Kasei's attack was well placed, but it did not work out perfectly. The first arrow head straight at the forward bubble, but passed by it, missing the skull, but passing through the flames, putting them out. Now the bubble was venrable to sword attack, and bounced around on the ground. Pyre sprang out of his crouch, ramming his dagger into the top of the bubbles head. The skull broke into fragments, and a floating blue flame was left over. Pyre looked at it curiously, but then turned his attention back to the other bubble. Kasei's second arrow missed completely, but the third was perfectly aimed. It shot the bubble's skull right out of the fire, and flung it across the room, pinning it to the wall.

Pyre didn't have time to finish the bubble off, and left it to Kasei. He instead turned his attention to the bubble attacking Shadow. The bubble was too close to the swordsman to let Pyre attack immediately, but if Shadow could defend himself from the bubbles intial attack, the hylian was sure that it would be fine.~

alright! sweet! kasei yells. mercinaries don't approve of others taking their kills, so pyre was one step lower on kasei's freindship ladder. but back to buiseness. the bubble could get lose any second, so kasei whips out his sword and jumps forward, swinging his weapon furiously, then landing an attack on the skull, hopefully killing it.
kasei then turns his attention to the other skull, and brings out his arrows, putting one in the bo, he prepares to fire...

~The bubble fell into two pieces under the power of Kasei's attack, and as the fragments of bone fell, another glowing ball of blue fire was left over. The party's luck stopped there, and Pyre wasn't prepared for what came next.~

~The blue fire on the other side of the passage, near Pyre, started to expand (Din's fire style), hurling Pyre into the wall. The blue fire burnt at his cloak and tunic, and the hylian knew that he had to roll to get the flames off him. Unfortunately, he was too dazed by his trip into the solid wall to start the roll. He shook his head furiously against the pain of the flames on his skin, and slowly regained his wits, moving forward, and down turning his body, and letting the stone floor to put out the fire.~

~The fire from the bubble Kasei just defeated exploded similarly, sending blue flames towards his exposed back. Just before the fire expanded, though, the sound of the crackling flames stopped. As Pyre stood and watched Kasei, he hoped that that would be enough to alert him, as the hylian didn't have enough time to cry out a warning.~

huhn? fire, against me? your joking! kasei turns around, and in a split second, is in the air doing backflips towards pyre. heh, whats up with these things?!? there attacking me with fire, my best attacks are fire! my name means force of flame!
kasei makes a fireball in his hand to prove it, then the fire goes out. see? i am god of flames!!! he yells angrilly, a hint of sadness in his voice....

"This isn't the time to be joking around Kasei!" Shadow yelled as he pulled out a shield. He then charged at the bubble shield up. It was knock backwards against the stone wall, and then Shadow rammed his sword into the skull.

(((OOC:Come on Shadow don't god-mod. I'm sorry I have to ignore most of that post...)))

~The bubble stopped at the last second before hitting the shield, and veered to the left. It made a short circle, and began its attack at Shadow again. Pyre approached it from behind to stop it from fleeing again, and watched as the bubble charged at Shadow.~

~The blue flames from the two explosions had finally faded, but the shattered bones of the bubbles were starting to glow blue. Before long, if the last bubble was not destroyed soon, they would rebuild, and return to fight again.~

Denning walking through, finnaly caught up with the party.

"Hello guys! Thought i would never find you! Oh my! That thing! Time to fight, it would seem!"

Denning raises his staff high, then points it twords the bubble, from the tip of his staff Denning releases a great burst of light, flying through the sky, aimed at the bubble.

Luna joins up with the other adventurers. "You saw the poster too hunh? Okay, the more the merrier."

kasei, tired of waiting, unleashes the arrow with pin point accuracy. humph...
you guys...he then notices the new girl... hullo, who are you? and hello denning, whats up? kasei shifts his attention to he bubble.

this enemy won't be easy to defeat, not with all of these people, kasei says, he then unleashes a barrage of fire, and tosses a bomb.

~The sudden shaft of light pierces through the bubbles flame, and the bones dissapate under the power of the light magic. The familiar blue flame was left behind, but was destroyed by Kasei's barrage of attacks. The blue glowing of the bones on the ground slowly fades. Pyre looks up and around at the party. "Is everyone okay?"

The hylian was duely confused. What were bubbles doing in place like this. He takes a few moments to regain his breath after the fight. Suddenly, he relized he couldn't remember from which direction they had come, and panic filled him, but then he saw his own footprints in the dust leading down the passage, and noticably calmed down. Too some one else, it would look like he was acting a bit strangely.

He continued to walk down the passage from which he came. The number one priority was to find the footsteps. If we get lost, we'll probably never find out way out...~

heh, for a second there I thought we were lost...kasei sits down, then stands up. he could't afford to waste time, not here. so whats our plan? he asks denning, hoping the fellow wanted man could help out with the thinking. he follows pabru through the passage...

Luna was suddenly aware of the fact that she had no wepon. Oops she thought to herself. Too late now. Maybe hand to hand combat will work? Yea right. She trailed along behind nervosly, wishing she hadn't come to this damned place.

~Pyre was walking down the passage slowly, making sure not to miss anything. Suddenly, he stopped, and bent even closer to the ground. It seemed as if a set of tracks led from the center of the hallway, and dissapeared at the base of the wall. He looked back at the party, and metioned down at the tracks.~

~While the hylian was pointing to the tracks, he looked over the party. There was enough people here to fight off any lesser opponents. Many of them, it seemed were seasoned adventurers. Pyre felt considerably safer, but he didn't know what the party was up against. He had no intelligence on this place at all.~

~The goron general walked into the hallway outside the maze where Shadow had fought with the gorons, and met up with Pyre. He stamped his feet impatiently. "Where the hell could they be. The gaurds said they were around this area." He started to walk back towards his quarters, and found two of his gaurds waiting for him. "I can't find the intruders anywhere. Scour the entire temple!" He waved a dismissive hand at the gaurds, returning to his desk.~

hmm, I noticed this girl doesn't have any weapons! kasei says here, he says, handing over his twin daggers, these are diablos, give them back, kay? he says as he walks up next to pyre. he felt uncomftorable in here, it was as if the walls were waiting to close in on you, it was intoxicating. lets go!
