OOC: I am tired of people spamming in this topic, saying things like "Sovelis looks on with interest" or "Leth is as amazed as if watching a fireworks show" etc, etc. This topic is for training with Orca. If he's busy, you can join the battle or wait till he's free.

OOC: Okay, um.. i said

"Leth grinned, and when Orca had his back turned, he rushed at him, sword raised. He was using his Ranger stealth abilities, (rangers have to be stealthy to hunt) but he knew Orca would most likely notice him anyway. Still bieng quietter than a mouse, he jumps up into the air and points his sword downward, coming down with a silent but deadly slam attack."


Well? sorry to be impatient but its been weeks scince anyone has posted anything, and I want to get it going again.

Despite Leth's stealth, Orca simply rolls to the side and Leth's sword drives into the wooden floor, cracking the floorboards. Leth falls right through the floor into a dark passageway, and rolls down into a hidden chamber. "Not bad, not bad at all!" Orca shouts down at Leth. "You found my hidden weapons cache!"

Leth looks around. Seeing all the weapons, he (hope this isn't god-moding, tell me if i should change it, but I'm assuming there are all sorts of weapons down here) grabs a spear, hurls it at Orca, then grabs an extra sword. Then he jumps out, ready to keep fighting.

OOC: I don't mind that too much, but don't do it next time.

IC: Orca catches the spear in mid-flight and lunges at Leth while duel-wielding. He spins the spears around wildly as he sails through the air.

Leth puts the sword up defensivly, preparing to strike with his dagger when he supposes Orca will land.

All along Orca had sensed that Leth would be prepared for his attack. He would be stupid not to. As soon as he lands, he rolls past Leth and jabs him in the side.

Leth was barely able to block the attack, and avoided damage, but the impact knocked him back, rolling on the floor. Regaining his composure quickly, he leaped up into the air and landed upright on his feet. Leth, only having skill with a dagger, decided to put away the sword. He hurled it at Orca, then redied his shield. Drawing his dagger, he leaped at orca, blade pointed in a downward slash.

Orca simply sidesteps and Leth's blade stabs into the ground to his.

"You're fast, but not fast enough, my student." says Orca.

"Not fast enough, eh? How's this?" and Leth leaps around the room, making a haggard circle around orca. He is almost a blur. Without warning, he leaps straight over Orca, and swings his blade downward at Orca's back.

It seems sure that Leth's dagger is going to plunge straight through Orca's exposed back, but Orca jumps up and wrenches the dagger out of Leth's hand, and Leth lands in Orca's arms. The adept swordmaster tosses Leth to the ground and points his sword at him.

"You have performed surprisingly well, better than many of my other new students. I think you have trained enough for today. I will thus give you the rank of Knight. Go now and use your great skills to make Hyrule a better place, and feel free to train with me again whenever you want." Orca bows to Leth, and tosses him his dagger.

Leth bows to Orca. "It was a pleasure sparring with you. I will return later when I have gained more skill." and he walks out the door.

A man named Thealter entered. He immediantly asked Orca, in front of Leth, who should know who Simon is

"Do you know the whereabouts of Simon Grendel."

The last name slid from his mouth. He couldn't think of it earlier, but suddenly it sprang from him.

OOC:Since Orca is old, he knows that Simon's uncle, who is believed to be dead, assited in saving the kingdom of Hyrule. Also, he might know that Simon's parents, who helped his uncle, parished at the hands of an evil dictator. Also, Leth, you can answer to if you want. This happens shortly after you helped him back in the cave.
