Saber mulled it over. Who's Silna...? He thought he might have remembered a woman around Orpheous before, but it was very rarely, and he never spoke to her formally. "A shape shifter...? What else can she turn into? You know, to help me prepare..." He asked the man, a bit irritated that the man expected him to know this woman. Well...if Orpheous can't know, then that means I won't be touching him...So he'll be safe...Besides, how close could he be to her? He's a kid. It's not like they could be, I don't know, together or something. He cocked his head a bit and brushed his hair aside. If they aren't going to harm her...Well, maybe they will...but I'll just believe they won't, and then none of the guilt is mine...Oh, but that's a horrible way to look at it...ugh...He closed hs eyes for a brief second. But that's a large payment...I could finally make some changes to this place... "I'll do it." He finally mumbled, and opened his eyes. "Now, I need to know what to expect from her. Will she turn into anything I'll have trouble fighting?" He had seen some fearful shapeshifting in the form of Rose Hillmound, and wasn't looking forward to slaying a dragon.

OOC: Orpheous being a kid, LOL. Far from it. Read my profile. He looks like he is twenty something, and he is really 60ish, you call that kid like.
IC: "Glad to see that you agreed, Saber," replied the one who formally had careless eyes. His eyes now seemed to sparkle, as he too was anxious. He continued, "She can shape shift into any known living animal," however, he wished he could say She can shape shift into any known living organism that is composed entirely of out animal cells, but like Saber knew what cells were, that was cut of the line research. "You might have to devise a strategy, such as knocking her unconscious or something. Perhaps attacking her after she has just finished exerting her powers, whether it be through training, or fighting somebody else. But I highly suggest you observe her for a little bit, get to know her schedule, get to understand your target. Any more questions?"

OOC: In JaR you said you were redoing Orpheous as a kid...I'm confused....
IC:"Alright, fine." He said, a bit intimidated by the abilities of his target. "So, I guess the only thing I need to know now is where to find her, and how she fights when she's not shapeshifting." This might not be too hard after all He thought. I might not even have to fight, just get her while she's asleep...

OOC: Could you show me the quote?
IC: "She was lasted spotted at the castle. If she is there, she spends a lot of time at the temple, if she isn't there, check Orpheous's camp. Got it?" wrapped up the masked man, hoping for no more questions. Then something came to him, "Oh, and as you can see in the humanoid pic, she tends to have a fox tail in humanoid form."

"Got it." Saber said with a nod, then turned around and looked at his pile of supplies. He bent down near them and pretended to start packing, although he was really nursing his cut fingers. "So when can I expect payment?" He asked over his shoulder, gingerly touching the break in the skin.

The masked man threw a bag of rupees onto the counter. "In there is three hundred rupees, and that is just for accepting the mission, the other seven hundred or more will come with her delivery," he explained, still sticking around for more possible questions. Hopefully there would be no more.

Saber eyed the bag on the counter thoughtfully. It looked sizeable enough. "Only one more question. Where do I deliver her at? I find that to be vital to the job..." He asked. It wouldn't go over to well if he tried to keep her locked up in his booth for ages, especially since Orpheous would doubtlessly ask him where she was and come to the booth...

"We know all, Saber, and we will retrieve her when ever you are truly ready to get rid of her," replied the masked one. "We have our system of observing people, our boss demands we observe. It is always success to our mission. We will know as soon as you got her. Any last questions?"

"No. No questions." Saber responded, his skin starting to crawl for some reason. He wasn't sure he trusted these men...He may have to improvise later on...He turned around again and bent back to his supplies, letting the men leave whenever they felt like it.

The three men simply disappeared into the air, leaving no trace. As though the might haven't been there, but there was their sack of rupees on the counter. Little did Saber know what would lay ahead.

OOC: Ripping, snorting, fanging, whizabang, making me post here as well.
IC:
The Gerudic women from North Castle approached the mercenary's booth. She looked rather disgruntled as she told the Hylian in rather broken Common, "We need help. Please come to Gerudo Valley. You get paid there."
She marched off without looking back to see if he would follow.
OOC:
Shortcut for you.

From the distance, a figure approached. From what you could make of it through the heat distortion, the figure was mostly dressed in blue, save for the bottom half, which was an ugly brown color. As the figure neared, it would become easy to tell that the figure was hardly dressed at all, but was rather just a Zora with torn up pants. Closer inspection would reveal that there was a fairy with him too! A rare sight in the desert.
The Zora, however, had a priceless look on his face, showing irritation and impatience. When he was nearly in front of the booth, he finally turned and shouted loudly at the little one. "NO!! NO!! NO!!!! We're NOT there yet, and we probably never will be!! I know it's hot, and I know you're tired, but this is adventure!!
"you don't have to yell."
He turned, and looked at the wooden booth. "What's all this then?" He asked, looking around the shoddy booth. It was a small shelter from the sun, really. They'd be better off hanging out at Tantari Cafe, which was only a short walk away from here. "This some kind of a business?"

Saber watched, dumbfounded, as the woman walked away, unable to reply before she disappeared.

Dozing, the nomadic mercenary snapped awake at the sound of an unfamiliar voice. Shaking his head to clear the fog and rising out of his three-legged chair, Saber's hands went to work brushing his hair into a more presentable style.
"Yes, this is a mercenary booth. I'm Sabertache, Tantari Mercenary Extraordinaire. It's...on the sign. I hope. I'm not the best speller."

"Mercenaries?"
The Zora asked sheepishly.
"Mercenary. Noun- Professional soldiers hired for foreign affairs."
Taint whirled around completely bewildered. "How did you know that?!" Lilly smiled triumphantly, and cooed on about the origins of the word, and what it meant to be a mercenary in further detail.
"Fairies may be defenseless, and even sheltered- but we're born learning things. Fortunately for you, I happen to be a flying dictionary." She said as a matter of factly, landing on Taint's shoulder.
"I knew what it was!! I was just testing you." He noted pompously, turning his head back in Saber's direction. "So you get paid to fight for random affairs?" He asked, completely interested now. "What is required of one to apply to be in your little band of Mer-sen-airy's?"

The Mercenary stood, dumbfounded, watching the pair fight as his hair slowly moved back into its familiar untidy position.
"Well...I'm not sure."
Smiling sheepishly, he hemmed and hawed over the matter for a while.
"I suppose you need to be able to fight. And be versatile. You're never sure where you'll need to fight or what for. You can't turn down jobs if you want to make a living, unless you happen to be extremely lucky. Of course, for all I know you are a lucky Zora, though something about you implies otherwise. I'm not sure what."
Sighing, he dismissed the topic.
"Anyhow, I'm the only one in my 'little band'. Though it would probably be helpful to have others helping."
