Hyrule Adventures 2

Raven just keeps his head down and sighs as Kasei attempts to cheer him up. He says something just being loud enough to hear under his breath. 'I will make it up to her.'

OOC: Red, I'll give you that - you did stay true to Shada's character.

IC:
Through the doorway is another hallway, walls again made of earth and rocks. A few small torches line the walls, providing light in the otherwise darkened passage. It extends only a short ways before ending in a fork, one path leading right, the other left.

Shada walks forward without looking back, her eyes firmly fixed ahead of herself. She has closed herself off from the telepathic link so that the others won't hear words that no lady would ever learn - not that Shada's a lady...but still! In the single moment of calm reflection she has, a thought runs across her mind: 'I've never been this vulgar before...even in my thoughts...I didn't know I knew half of those words...'

Nogare looked to Shada. "Which way?" He looked at her carefully. "What's the matter?" He asked curiously.

"Nothing!" Shada snaps. She immediately regrets it, but does nothing to repair the situation. "I can't really think right now," she continues. "You guys pick a path."

left! kasei runs down the left path...

Nogare's shoulders jump as she snaps at him. When she says says to choose the path, Kasei hurries to the left. He licked his finger, and rose it slightly above his head. "... Right. The air is coming from that way." He looks to his companions for their say.

"I have no idea wich way has better chances, but, since Kasie went left, we can go the other way to loose that fool."

Nogare chuckled at Denning's comment. "Hah! Let's." although, he stayed, to hear what the others had to say.

"Hmm... This way feels a little different" Alex said as touched the walls from both sides
"I'm say we go right"
he said as he started walking along the torches
OOC: Sorry kasei, but your character it's been sort of jerk-ish the last 30 pages so don't expect too much politeness[/i]

Ignoring Alex as he walks away to the right, Nogare asks, "Anyone else?" Nogare looked around.

Raven wonders if Shada's problem is because of him. No, he knows that it's because of him. As the group splits up he stays put keeping a good three metres distance between himself and her. He looks down the path to the right and then the left, but he does not move from his postion. Instead he drops down to the ground closes his eyes and focuses his hearing. To make his decision on which way to go.

[Awareness Check]

OOC: This might be the last post I make today, so this is a good time to say that I might not be able to post from Mon - Fri; as I have a trip to go on. Try not to complete the event without me.

OOC: Don't worry Raven, I don't think they can finish this thing off that quickly.

IC:
Raven's Awareness Check fails (4+3[Roll+INT] vs. 15). The Sheikah can hear plenty of noises coming from one of the two directions, but he cannot figure out which way they are originating from. This fact might have to deal with the rushing river in the room behind them, which continues to flood past and dampen any other sounds in the area.

Shada finally manages to calm herself down somewhat, and decides to follow the group. "Fine," she says abruptly. "Let's check the right path. But remain cautious; there's no telling what's down this path."

Nogare nods. "Agreed." He eyed through the left passage, grim smile on his face. "And let us hope that Kasei doesn't follow us." He added jokingly. But deep inside of him, he wished that very thing.

"Very well, right it is."

Denning starts to head down the path, his staff, as always, is ready.
