Hyrule Adventures 2

"Well you guys don't like to stay in one place for long,"Cathy said, snorting.

Nettlyn overheard, "It's the way of our people, you either settle down in a village to call your own, or you stay for the ceremonial day. Sometimes we break the tradition and sometimes we don't!" Nettlyn called from the tree.

"I'm going to stay and help Nitara in this war." Sovelis said as he went to the hut and zonked out.

"I helped with one war, I can help with another,"Kayla said.

Nettlyn sighed and started to doze off under the tree, "Culots," she muttered,

Elcy shook Sovelis, Kayla, and Cathy awake, "Come on, Nettlyns getting angry. It's already past moonrise!"

"What?Huh?"Cathy mumbled.

"Damn, don't you people sleep in?" Sovelis said as he got up. He hadn't bothered undressing, so he was still in the robes from the feast. " LEt me put on my travle robes..." He said as he changed, not bothering to leave the hut.

"I agree, they should,"Cathy said.

As Sovelis changed, he relized that the girls werein the same hut as he was. "uh oh..." he mumbled as he put his robes on as fats as he could before someone looked at him.

"Hello, doorway stupid,"Cathy said.

Sovelis stood there, robes half on. "uh...hi." he said as he pulled the robes on quickly. "er...sorry Cathy."

Cathy rolled her eyes,"Your a dork."

Elcy laughed, "Don't wear those clothes Sovelis, you'll stick out like a sore thumb in the war! Here I'll get some fighting clothes for you three."

She soon hurried back with three outfits in her hands. She handed the simplest to Sovelis, it was a button-down green tunic with a nehru collar and a rock stiched into one of the long-sleeves. The pants were straight and hung down to the middle of the shins and were pitch black. On it was an elaborate design of curving lines.

Cathy's and Kayla's were a bit more complex; they were short-sleeved and had long, high turtlenecks. They were short shirts and stopped right under their bottom rib and above their stomach. Underneath this shirt was a tight undersuit with a small pattern of holes on one side that exposed the skin (the undersuit was skin tight and continued slightly past their elbows and below their wastes) The pants were oddly puffy and were tied tightly with silk in the middle of the shins and than the undersuit continued again down to their ankles.

Kayla's outfit had a darkbrown shirt and pants and a bright green undersuit with the emblem of the animal they ate for dinner on it. A kind of tiger beast with black zigzags down it's back and a ferocious mouth filled with oozing spit that hung from it's multiple rows of teeth as it roared ferociously.

Cathy's shirt and pants were a darkblue and her undersuit was white, on her shirt was an emblem containing a beautiful leaping snow leopard with elegant fur and dark black spots.

Elcy explained the emblems, "Sovelis, the design on your shirt is the battle emblem of the Wind Listener Tribe, Kayla yours is of the Rock Crusher Tribe, and Cathy yours is of the River Bender Tribe." She nodded, "You have to go as soon as you are dressed, Nettlyn is getting aggervated, so I hope you guys survive." She bowed, stood back up, made a fist and hit it against her chest, spread her fingers out, waved her hand in a circle, and than hit her chest with her fist again, "Aira Well Fay" she said. And ran off.

"Now we just got to find her,"Cathy said.

Nettlyn burst into the hut! "Hurry up and get changed you dimwits!" she said not looking at them she turned and perked up her head. "Hey there's a reply coming in," Outside you could here a birdcall being whistled over the trees,

Nettlyn ran outside and listened closely, she whistled back, the whistle came again, she whistled again.
