"There had better be something here. After all this time it had better not be for nothing. We need to hurry up, Alpha must be found. Even if all we find is a corpse, we will look."

OOC: Alex, according to the Rules Set:
Disarm Trap—Allows you to deactivate any trap you detect using an awareness check with a successful Innate check
So you'd need to find some traps with an Awareness Check.
IC:
Nogare's Awareness Check fails (8+4[Roll+INT] vs. 15), but Tayro's succeeds (16+6[Roll+INT] vs. 15). The young Hylian gazes over the Moreks, but only sees the sleeping dogs. They hold nothing that could be of any value to the adventurers.
Shada gasps at Denning's statement. Her hand shoots up to cover over her mouth. "Do...do you really think that...we'll just find a...a corpse?"

I think so, he was probably tortured, then painfully and slowly masacred...

"Not likely."
Dogura piped up. "Alpha is a sharp man, with much stamina. He can take a beating, and live through what most men can't. I have no doubt in my mind that he's fine right now. However it would be best if we keep moving. There has to be something somewhere."
he says, as he gazes past the Moreks. "perhaps behind the waterfall?"
Dogura says, with an unsure tone. "There must be something!"
He says, proving he is frusterated. Dogura searches the waterfall.
OOC: Sorry for the time away. No excuses on my part, ive just been busy planning out Dogura's thing.

Alex grumbled at Denning and Kasei telepathycally 'Wow!, you really know how to calm people'
"I don't think so, Shada, maybe I'm lying but, I think Alpha has some sort of importance to the Hakiems, just by the fact that he wasn't with us means that the Hakiems care for him a lot more than they do for us" he grabed Shada's shoulder and smiled to her, trying to make her feel better.
OOC:But who in *navi* world would feel better by having an alien -like creature smiling at you!!

(OK... I really had a lot of sugar)

by Nogare, son of Greyblade
Nogare looked down. Could this entire mission be only to find a man dead? Or maybe even never even find him? Will this entire mission fail in the end? He didn't want to think about it anymore. He looked at Shada. "Don't worry. We will save him, as long as we work as a team. As we all should know about Alpha, if they are questioning him of something, he will not tell them. They will not kill him! They will just..." His voice trailed off. He needed to end his statement with everyone lacking the confidence, though. "He lives. And they will not suufer as long as he is strong, which is the case. He is strong. He will make it. Worry not about it. Just as long as we get there..." He slowly turned to looked at how Alex and of how he was doing, looking away from the others. I hope Kasei's words didn't make it any worse...

Kasei's words drive a deeper wedge into Shada's heart, but Nogare and Dogura's thoughts reinforce her resolve. Slowly, she nods. "Yes...yes, you're right, guys. Thank you."
Dogura's search doesn't reveal much else, but that can be expected in the dim lighting of the room's two candles. If something is behind the waterfall, it cannot be seen past the rushing water.

OOC: I'll take THAT as a hint!
IC:
Dogura removes a peice of Deku wood from his pack, and lit it off of one of the few torches, and held it near the waterfall, being careful not to put it out.

by Nogare, son of Greyblade
Nogare was glad that Kasei began to lose his attention. He looked to what Dogura was seeing. "What do you think is back there?" Nogare asks as he looks closer. He nears it, but, respectfully, let's the others go ahead of him.

Alex pulled out his daggers(OOC:Now I'll be calling my knives daggers) as aproached the waterfall
"Water is no problem to us Zoras" he said as he went trought the curtain of water
[Awareness check]

Alex is pushed downward by the sheer force of the waterfall, but as a Zora he is able to withstand the mighty weight of the water. His Awareness Check succeeds (16+3[Roll+INT] vs. 15), and utilizing the light made by Dogura's, Alex can make out the wooden frame of a hidden doorway (OOC: Cue the little Zelda jingle - NOT REALLY!!!). Unfortunately, while a Zora can reach it, no other member of the party would be able to get past the cascading waves.

OOC: I like this quest, lots of water means lots of "only I can reach it" places, which makes me feel important(just what the shrink said XD)
IC:"I don't think you can make it" Alex yelled at the others from the other side of the waterfall
"But maybe there is some way to stop the waterfall" Alex then turned and attempted to open the door...

"Alex! What do you see?" asked Nogare.

Dogura kept his flame shining, as he hollared above the noise of the waterfall. "Good idea, see if you can find a switch or a lever! If you run into trouble, get out! We'll be waiting right here!" Dogura held the flame, a bit closer, so as to see the door more clearly. It looked like regualr Deku Wood, and would be easy to kick in, if it proved to be a problem.

"Just a door way; I'm opening it right away"
OOC:Right away means until ALpha's next post
