Cathy scratched her head,"What is she doing?"

"I'd rather stick out..." Sovelis said as he packed the clothes he was given, grabbed his pack, and ran after her.

"Quiet down I'm trying to hear the message!" Nettlyn snapped at Sovelis without even looking in his direction, she listened to a few more bird calls and replied a few more times than turned to approach Cathy and Kayla. "Last night I sent a message in that you guys wanted to help in the war. Nitara instantly sent a reply in return." She paused to gather her thoughts, "She said that you idjits aren't doing anything of the sort, and that you can go stick your buts in hot lava before you die in this world."

"I'm going to hit her the next time I see her,"Cathy said, clenching her hands into fists. "I hate it when she calls me and idjit. BECAUSE I AM NOT ONE AND SHE WILL SO GET HURT!"

"She's always saying something like that to me. I don't care if I die, I should have died a thousand times before, And I'll avoid death a thousand times agian befroe I'm through." Sovelis said to Nettlyn.

Kayla laughed slightly,"I've advoided death alot as well."

Sovelis stood next to Kayla. "All of us have. I can feel that something bad is gonna happen soon in this world...These people will need our help."

"Okay I'll take you to the Shadowlands," Nettlyn said silently, than hesitating, "But.... nevermind, you'll have to deal with Nitara yourselves."

"Please, I hadle Cathy, I think I can handle Nitara,"Kayla said.

Nettlyn started walking into the woods, "So are you coming or not?" She called back without looking.

"Coming!"Cathy and Kayla shouted at the same time.

Nettlyn was still looking at the ground, her body swayed to just avoid trees and bushes in the dark dawn. "So, do you guys see any smoke from the west side? If you do tell me exactly what it looks like, and put one of your feet in the direction of it." She stopped walking and kept looking down, waiting for their answers.

"What smoke?"Cathy asked, looking around.

"I said DO you see any, because if you don't we won't be able to find the shadowlands. That is the armies sign so they can muster their forces, it's the only way to get through the different layers of twilight, to follow the smoke." Nettlyn stared at the ground, "So do you see anything,"

"I don't see any,"Cathy reported.
"How about over there?"Kayla said.
"Over where?"Cathy asked, spinning around.
"Over there,"Kayla said, pointing.
"Over where?"Cathy asked.
Kayla smacked herself in the head,"You're hopeless."
