OOC: No, I didn't say anything about the bars. You guys couldn't see it from the side you were on.

A feeling of joy filled the hylian.
Hehe! Knew it!
Grabbing the bar, he walks to the other side of the room, being careful to not lay any part of his body in the water. That would surely be disastrous. He safely arrives to the other side, sighing of relief.
He moved forward to open the door, but...
Great! Another locked door! Now what? I hope we don't have to go way back there again... - Tayro thought, shivering at the thought of the disgusting Moreks.
Trying to find if going back wasn't necessary, which he hoped it wouldn't, he examined the metal he had found before.
"I wonder what to do with these? They probably have a function."
Pondering a bit on the situation, it finally came to him.
"Maybe those metal surfaces can be moved to close the water from entering!"- he notified, as he waited for a look of approval.
But I wonder how we should close it?
Again, the boy looked around his surroundings to find anything that could be used to pass this obstacle. {Awareness Check}

Tayro's Awareness Check succeeds (18+6[Roll+INT] vs. 15). Taking a good look around the chamber, it suddenly dawns upon him that the torches sparkle with the same sort of intensity that had been found in the torches in the Healing Room two floors above them.

Shada joins Tayro in his search for some sort of clue as to how to manipulate the metal that the Hylian had spotted earlier. She too uses an Awareness Check, and succeeds as well (14+3[Roll+INT]). A glitter of reflected light manages to catch her eye, and she looks down into the river. At times, when the Piranhells aren't in the way, she realizes that she can see a large switch. "Hey guys! There's a switch down there!" she calls out.

As he hears those words, Alex instanly thinks 'Oh yeah! More work for me!'
but then...
"I could easyly go down and maybe push the switch, but there is this pirahells..."
looking for a way out, he begs for the others not coming up with the idea that he would go down
"I know! Maybe we can make something really heavy falls into the water"
he looks up to wherever the cave ends, searching for something that could easyly fall down

"Something heavy to push in the water?"

Denning looks over at Kasie.

"Ive got an idea, but I doubt it will work, but it could fix one problem..."

Alex's Awareness Check succeeds (18+3[Roll+INT]). However, the only thing large enough to possibly press down the button is the waterwheel itself. Although, you cannot be certain that it would remain sitting on the switch...

kasei sees denning looking at him, then steps away from the water... no! besides, I already know how to get there without being attacked!

"If you know, then tell us! Work as a team here! Gah! Your hopless!"

heh, simple! we shoot all of them with arrows, or remove the water temporarily!

"I think I got it!" said Alex, as he felt the illumination of the bright idea he just had
"If we let loose of the waterwheel, it'll start rolling to some point where it would press the switch, but then it would just keep rolling" he stopped for a second to grab some breath "BUT, if we freeze the waterwheel on the exact point where it's over the switch, then it would stop enough time to go through the gate; and if we are lucky, the pirahells will freeze too..." he knew that he wouldn't be able to pull that off on his own, so he waited to see if someone supported him...

"Ummm..."-Tayro interrupted, after hearing out their plan - "Do you mind if I try something else first?"
A grin forming in his face, he grabbed a pair of Artic Seeds. Approaching the left torch, he stretched his hand over the flame, and dropped an Artic Seed into it. He repeated the same process with the right torch.
I hope this does something of interest.

As he was looking aound the room, the two torches on the side they were previously in came into his attention.
Maybe they need to be extinguished as well?
He observed the flames' dance, and tried to indentify any magical properties in them.{Awareness Check}
Maybe if they were all frozen, something would happen?

As the icy magic seeds hit the flames, the fires instantly die away...for approximately five seconds. Then, as if by magic, the blazes return. Tayro's Awareness Check succeeds (11+6[Roll+INT] vs. 15), allowing him to realize that the other two torches burn with the same magical flames as the torches that just relit themselves.

'Fire that relights no mater what...'
"What if we evaporize the water with these" he grabed a deku stick, lit on the torch, then trhew it into the water, and awaited for the results...

His eyes and thought had not deceived him even in such an occasion, with so many people doing different things, the Piranhells snapping around, Alpha trapped and time could be running short for him...
He remembered Alpha's situation.
No! We'll make it in time and rescue Alpha!
Not wanting to waste any more time, the boy picked 4 Artic Seeds this time, took aim, threw one at the other side's left torch. Moving quickly, he threw another into the other side's right torch, and turning around, he dropped two Artic seeds in the torches on this side, one for each flame.
Now... all we have to do is wait and hope it does the trick.

As it leaves the fire, you realize that Alex's stick has not been set aflame. The stick is torn apart by the Piranhells. You wonder what would happen if they tried to eat fire...

Tayro's first two seeds fall short, almost as if the torches are willing the thrown seeds to miss. However, the third and fourth are on target and the torches go out again. And relight again.
