Valentine killed one of the guards, but they were loseing ground. Guards staring coming from every direction, the taken path, the entry, and the untaken path.

Ryk smiled, as he now weilded a scythe. "I love these things..." A flame enveloped the scythe, as he swung it through the air.

It killed several guards, but more kept coming. Valentine remembered the chain gun materials he had on his back. "Cover me."

"Like a blanket." Ryk was happy now. He had a scythe, and people to test it on.

The guards kept coming, but the chain gun was ready. "Get out of the way." He let out fire against the guards, but it only made a path out. The bullets were out, and they had go through the path, while the guards were attacking from either side.

Ryk didn't worry. He had fire, and a scythe. He landed on one foot, and spun around like a top.

They had finally got through the corridor. They were on the way to the council room.
