The Zora stood there for a moment deep in thought. The wind in the desert howled, carrying grains of sand with it. His heart beat quickened as he considered helping out with the position. He could always use extra cash, that is aside from the fortune he'd been saving in the bank. After doing some serious treasure catching in Parapa Desert, he'd cashed in everything for an amount of money he'd never thought he'd see. However, this was all going to fund a secret project for something he'd need in the future. But who was to say that he wouldn't be a little generous, and at least help this guy build a decent shelter? He contemplated all of these things as he placed a hand down on the counter.

"I'd like to join- I'd like to join the mercenaries... err... Mercenary." He stated. "I need some money to live on, and my friend is thrill seeking. Honestly, this should be perfect." The Zora looked hopeful. Lilly buzzed around Saber, and smiled widely. "I have a vast knowledge of things you might need to know. While I've no real experience with the world or the things it holds, the Great Fairy taught us everything there is to know. I'm only two hundred and three years old, so I might not know as much as the other older fairies..." She trailed off. "But I'll do as much as I can for you guys." Taint nodded in affirmation. "I'd be happy to work here... Hell, maybe we can raise enough to afford a nicer place!"

Suddenly, he turned pale, and waved his arms in the air. "N-Not that th-this is a buh-buh-buh-buh-bad place or anything, I-I- I just think it c-c-could yoo-yoo-use a little impr-pr-provement, th-that's all, I jus-" Lilly swooped in and bonked the Zora on his noggin. "Sorry, he does that." Lilly explained, putting on her sweetest smile.

The surprise was not hidden from the mercenary's face in the slightest as his jaw literally dropped. "W-well...I can't promise you'll make much money. But...well, it'd definitely be helpful, and good for business...yes, yes, of course. No problem. In fact, I believe I've seen you around before, though your name escapes me."

Turning, he surveyed his booth. "And...well, don't worry about insulting this place. I know it's a dump. It would be nice to expand a bit, get some actual furniture, things like that, but I just don't have the time or patience."

The smile was so large it was unnatural. "I'll do my best!!" He gave a salute, and turned to Lilly. "You hear that?! I'm employed!" The fairy slowly turned to Saber. "But he said you might not make that much..." She turned to see Taint's unbelievably wide smile, and sort of shuddered. "Yeah, that's great." She simply concluded, flying towards the booth, and landing on it. "So what did you say your name was again, chap?" She asked as politely as a hungry fairy could. Taint removed his sword from his sheath, and placed it on the booth. It was absolutely embarrassing, but somehow the Zora seemed proud of it. "This is my trusty sword, and I'm Taint. Get all the laughs out now, yes, I know my parents had a twisted sense of humor." He finished with a wince. A taint was the length of skin between a man's anus and scrotum. Why his parents named him that kind of name was completely unknown, but somehow fitting.

The Zora really wasn't good for anything but a battle. He walked around the side of the counter, and surveyed the surroundings. "You know, it's not a five star inn, but I think I could get used to this place. I've got an old worn out couch back at my place, if you want me to haul it up here sometime. Anyhow, I'm definitely down for any job thrown at me. He continued to smile that disturbingly giant grin that spanned across his face.

OOC: So Taint is a mercenary now. He'll just remain here, in one of those separate time zone sort of things. You know what the best thing is though? I can completely picture that creepily large smile XD
